I took my son here after a PU basketball game, when we walked in the place looked very disheveled and was only 9 pm. I thought they were closed, but they werent. when ordering , the person making my food put on gloves, then proceeded to rub his eyes with the gloves on, i asked him to change his gloves, he glared at me and then did change them. once we sat down, there was another employee sweeping the floor, who decided it was necessary to sweep under the table we were sitting at....there was no one else in the place, it was like they wanted us to leave. Furthermore she was playing music on her phone as she swept, quiet annoying while i try to eat with my son. i do not know who does the hiring here, but it seems like they should be replaced. The quality of the food is consistent with other qdobas. I would recommend getting the quesadilla because they toast it so it's always hot. One complaint I have about about qdoba in general is that their burritos and rice bowls are never hot. Another thing about this particular qdoba is that the restrooms were dirty and not maintained very well. Tasty food. Good quality ingredients. Extensive menu. Quick service. What's not to like? Went there on President's Day after Corner Bakery and Bobby Flay's were too crowded. Menu is much more extensive than Chipotle. I had a burrito bowl which was tasty. A few families with annoying children but not too many. The only bad thing was that I was seated near the back door and every time the door opened, there was a blast of arctic air. read more

where do i begin. i'll begin with, i'm never going back to this qdoba again. not when chipotle is directly across the street... and the other qdoba location is right on nassau st. the last time i got food from this location, i ordered two chicken burrito bowls. double chicken on one... pretty much the same ingredients in both. the double chicken came with zero chicken. ok, no problem. they were always incredibly nice, and i understand that things get hectic. fast forward to today. i order a burrito bowl online to be picked up at 1230p. i show up at 1233p. there are about three people on line, and three ppl behind the counter. one of whom, an older woman, was working hard at looking busy, and not being busy at all. she also worked hard at not noticing me, standing directly across the register from her. three times, she passed me. one to finish talking to another patron. the next... to just walk back and forth by the other two food preppers, who were working hard. she comes back, and then looks past me to another patron. she tells him that she can ring him up right there, in front of me. i'm thinking... do you not see me? does she seriously not wonder WHY i'm here? what if there was a problem with an order? what if my car was on fire and the only ppl who could help were qdoba employees?! so, this incredibly rude dismissal lead to what appears to be rude behavior coming from me, bc now i am forced to assert myself, so that i can pick up my order. i say, "um, hi! i placed an order online." she stops, obviously annoyed and yells my full name. i say, yes. she points to a table in the dining section- where my bag has been sitting for however long. i say thank you, and go grab it. standard protocol? throw the bag on one of the tables that ppl eat at?! i say, not so under my breath that this is definitely the last time i come here. incidentally, got my food. not double chicken (like i ordered)... and it was cold. skip it. there are far too many options right there in the same mall, to put up with poor service, and cold, incorrectly prepared food. read more

The food wasn't bad, but the customer service I experienced was just horrible. When I walked in, I wasn't in the mood for anything heavy, and I noticed that they had small tacos sold individually for $3.50. I don't eat meat and I can't eat cheese either, so I decided to order the taco without cheese; however, it still contained beans and other vegetables, so it wasn't like the cheese was the main ingredient. When I told the man working there, he laughed in my face as if it was so unreasonable for me to get a single taco with cheese. He made me really feel really bad about the whole experience, and even when he gave the cashier my taco to put in, he was trying to joke with the cashier about how I only got one taco. I thought this whole experience was really unprofessional on his part, and if it's so crazy for people to get one taco it shouldn't even be on the damn menu! Also, he should be thankful that I even thought to pay $3.50 for a small ass tortilla with vegetables inside which I literally could've made at home. Typical hit or miss place. Service can go both ways depending on who's working. You may want to double check your quesadilla before walking out to check how long that tortilla has been sitting out there before being heated. read more

They give a LOT of food, especially when I order the burrito bowl. One time I tried the grilled vegetables and it was SO unbelievably salty, that I haven't gotten it since. But otherwise, I'm a fan of the beef, and the fresh vegetables and salsa. I haven't tried anything else, since the burrito bowls are great! read more

We tried this place again, having been disappointed more than a year ago. Neither of us had cheese on anything, and this seems to imply that ingredients are dumped onto their soggy tortillas, and the food is served at room temperature. We asked to have our burritos heated up but were told that this was only possible using the cheese press. One of us tried that but the result was still lukewarm. One of us had pulled pork and the other had chicken, and it's hard to believe that Tex-Mex food, even in New Jersey, could be so tasteless. The dominant taste is that of salt. At 69 cents for a dab of ranchera sauce and $1.19 for a dab of guacamole, and $2. apiece for small bottles of "purified water," the place continues to disappoint, but costs as much as a decent diner, where at least you can eat with metal utensils from real plates. Are we going to remember to avoid this place or forget again in another year? read more

Seems like tattoos are a requirement for working there, and the jackass making my food wore his pants almost at his knees with his entire ass showing through his ugly grey underwear while practically yelling my order back to me. I hadn't been to a qdobo before but was in Market Fair with friends and this place was selected for a quick lunch on a Saturday. The place was mostly empty. I ordered a taco salad as a bowl (a std menu listed option instead of a fried taco shell) with the lime chicken. The server then proceeded to give me a shell which wasn't what I asked for and then switched to a bowl upon my correction. Then he added the equivalent of one romain lettuce leaf to the bowl and started to add shrimp, again not what I asked for. Then, again corrected, he added a small spoonful of my originally requested protein. I also asked for some veggies and he added about 1 tablespoon of the chopped veggies and passed it to the next person in the assembly line. After a generous amount of pico (more that the other ingredients combined at this point), I was passed over to the cashier, I pointed at the poor excuse for a meal and asked her to please add more veggies which she did without saying anything. The cost for this mess was about 9 dollars, and while I am not usually that price sensitive, this was a definite ripoff. Note my friends dining with me had other issues with their meals too, but I cannot speak for them. The issue here seems to be poorly trained employees and a lack of caring for customer satisfaction. I will think twice about agreeing to go to qdobo in future when / if someone that I am with suggests this chain, and it will definitely not be my choose. I can only imagine what our experience would have been if they were busy, and there were time pressures. read more

Just had a very positive experience with Manager Eric and this chain. I purchased a gift card, gave it to my son, and when he went to use it he was told that no money had been loaded onto the card. Working through Customer Service and this MarketFair store, they were able to find the transaction, identify the problem and reload the card. Thanks to everyone! read more

I thought the staff was very personable and friendly. I have eaten ate this place before at their location on Nassau street. The food is great for the price I never leave hungry. I agree the menu can be a bit confusing, but after a few visits you will get the hang of it. You have to get the Queso!! read more
