the burritos are good! there's some casual seating but it can fill up pretty quickly, so be ready to take your food to-go. the service is quick, though there have been a few instances where the order is off (missing add-ons), which is a bit unfun if you've already taken your order back. They have a great selection of soft drinks, and the steak and brussel sprouts are quite delicious! I am also a big fan of their nutella nachos.

We came here Saturday night for a quick bite. This place is always so packed and finding a seat is nearly impossible. I got the nachos for dinner with the pollo asado but it wasn't like I remembered the first time I had it. The nachos were super drenched and soggy. I'm guessing it was just a busy night but hoping next time, it will be much better.

I love their steak burrito . And the variety of dips they have is yummmy. They are quick with the order and the food is worth it!!

I love their steak burrito . And the variety of dips they have is yummmy. They are quick with the order and the food is worth it!! You are not served its a self service spot. But there is decent amount of seating inside, but it gets crowded at times as it next to the university.

Staff here were incredibly friendly and kind. They even checked up on us while we were eating and made sure everything was okay. The food was delicious and had pretty good flavor. The steak quesadilla was decently filled. It kind of reminded me of a small burrito. The al pastor nachos were delicious. A little smaller than I've had recently at another location but enjoyed all of it. The meats were flavorful and moist. I don't like corn, but I enjoyed sharing their street corn every time with my wife. I always ask for extra of their jalapeños - love the spice and flavor. The guava basil and lime aqua Fresca are our favorite - a little sweet, but nothing a little soda water or ice didn't fix. What topped off my dinner date with my wife was the playlist! A blast from the past. It got us dancing in our seats while we ate! Would come back again!

Came to this Tacoria location for the 1st time 01/21/26 with one of my best friends. We partook in the Yelp Elite Event going on for the week! The restaurant was small but decorated so beautifully for Valentines day! I ended up ordering the Salad with Vegan option for protein & some Mexican street corn as a side! The pineapple dressing was to dye for! And I always love a good taco salad! Will definitely try again if im in the area!

Tacos: Al Pastor | Carne Asada | Pollo Asada

My son and I visited Tacoria after visiting Alfalfa (down the street). Interior of the restaurant was nice and aesthetically pleasing. Atmosphere was very inviting. The staff were friendly and patient as this was the first visit (at this location) for both of us. The tacos were delicious. I had one of each: * Al Pastor -- Pork marinated in spices and pineapple * Carne Asada -- Spice marinated grilled steak with Smokey Roja * Pollo Asada -- Citrus kissed grilled chicken with Habanero I also had the Mexican Street Corn and my drink was the Horchata. The tacos were EVERYTHING! My only complaint was that they were real heavy handed with the cilantro. I'm one of those people where the cilantro tastes like soap, so I can eat it sparingly. The pollo asada had habanero sauce so it was still super spicy to me, still delicious. The Mexican Street Corn is my favorite!! Wonderful!! The horchata drink was excellent. Wish there was a Tacoria in Philly!! Will definitely visit this location or another location in the near future.

MEXICAN STREET CORN TACO - AL PASTOR

Definitely solid quality tacos, Mexican street corn and overall atmosphere! It was such a cute spot and definitely popular. They had self serve sauces to enhance the flavor of the tacos and they were very quick service wise. The lighting in the place was so cute, and location was perfectly placed in the heart of princetons Main Street for dining and shopping!

This is literally our go to spot whenever my boyfriend and I are in Princeton. The service is always great. I think we waited for our tacos for less then 10mins. We always order something different to try out their menu and the food never disappoints. It is also reasonably priced for a restaurant in such a popular college town. I think each taco is around $5, and they are loaded with food. I had to eat the stuffing with my fork before I could actually pick up my taco to eat!! For drinks they have a few option, like the signature Jarritos, coca cola and some branded water. The inside of the restaurant is pretty cool too! There are loads of light up signs, a mural and they always have some cute quote written on the blackboard. We genuinely love eating there! Since I live all the way in NYC, I cannot have Tacoria's food often and I think that makes my experience there more special.

I ordered the al pastor nachos. Huge serving, but I wish the cheese was melted more. I love Al pastor, but this was just ok - would try the chicken instead next time. I got in right when it opened & got my food within 15 minutes. I will say it is super cute inside. Super well decorated & seemed like a good lunch spot. I'd go again, but switch the proteins.

I came here for the Yelp Elite check-in. This is right in downtown princeton, so I'd recommend coming here if you already plan to walk around princeton or if you don't mind looking for parking. We came around 5:30 PM on a Saturday and it was starting to get very busy. There is not alot of seating but the service was very quick. I ended up getting the Carne asada burrito and added guac, Mexican street corn, and agua Fresca. I loved the chipotle aioli on the corn and the cool vibes of the restaurant. The only thing missing was a nice frozen marg. Cheers!

Solid spot. Mission style burrito (with Al pastor) was perfectly crispy and delicious while the Nachos with Chicken tinga were loaded. A great Mexican lunch spot!

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, packed with chicken and very filling. I ended up taking half home because it was both generous and delicious. The side salad was also surprisingly good. We ended up returning later for happy hour, which takes place in the room to the right of the hostess stand. I highly recommend stopping by for drinks and bites if you're in the mood for classic cocktails and solid food. Happy hour is first come, first served and limited to the bar only (around 15 seats total). We arrived right when it started, and when we left about 40 minutes later, the bar was about half full. I'd definitely come back to try their dinner or to enjoy their happy hour again.

Service is friendly and efficient. Orders are made at the counter, or, dare you dare, via QR codes located at the table. Parking is limited, and because it's located between two one-way streets, it can be tricky coming in to or leaving. The Sopes at La Taqueria are a must to try. They're heavily ladened with tasty toppings, and I'd order them again in a heartbeat. The chorizo sope was especially good, and had enough chorizo on it to make two Sopes. Be forewarned that you will not have clean hands after eating them. On another visit I tried the fish tacos. Fish tacos at La Taqueria are the chopped/shredded variety rather than the deep fried filet version. The tortillas themselves were heated well, but were nothing special, nor was the flavor of the fish itself anything remarkable. I expected something more interesting from the place. On the flip side, I also tried a Taco de Tripa, asking for it to be cooked crisp (Tripa in Mexico is pork chitterling, not tripe) and it was very, very (feel free to insert more verys) good, and is definitely a taco I'll try again and again. During our most recent visit, we had the Enchiladas de Pollo en Mole, which brought four enchiladas in a deeply flavored mole with rice and beans. The mole was not sweet like so many other moles in other area restaurants, but was instead relying heavily on the flavors of the chiles. It was very tasty, and a nice change from the usual sweet moles. We also had an excellent Huarache de Lengua, a thick, oval tortilla ladened with beef tongue. I have a feeling my wife will be ordering it each time we return. In addition, we ordered a bowl of the Sopa de Panza y Pata, a soup with a spicy broth and loaded with cow's hooves and tripe. It was a meal in itself, and was also served with rice on the side along with some thick corn gorditas. I was torn between four and five stars here, and if the fish tacos hadn't been such a bust, they'd probably have gotten that fifth star. La Taqueria is definitely in the top tier of local Mexican/Guatemalan restaurants, and will be part of our regular rotation going forward.

I didn't actually realize it was where I wanted to go until I was parking in front of it. As mentioned in other reviews, the dining space inside is small and very basic--which is fine. The portion of the store selling Mexican food staples is in the front as you enter, and the handful of dine-in tables are located at the back of the store between the store's aisles and the kitchen counter. What finally got me there to visit was that it was open for breakfast, and while a lot of places say they're open for breakfast, opening up at 9AM twice a week doesn't qualify. El Sabor Oaxaqueño 2 is open for breakfast most days at 6AM, because they serve people who are working their butts off and who need a good meal. The breakfasts at El Oaxaqueño 2 serve that need. My Chilaquiles Verde were spicy, but not super spicy, and it was served with rice and black beans. My carne asada was an addition as were my fried eggs. You can also get chicken breast (pechuga) or a red sauce if that's more your style. My wife's Huevos con Chorizo were very flavorful and very filling. They were also served with rice and black beans, along freshly made tortillas and a stick of cheese to crumble over your meal. She was only able to finish off half her plate, and we took home the rest. Our next visit was for dinner, and because I couldn't decide on what I wanted, we split three plates between us. First up was my Tacos de Tripa. I asked for the tripa (pork chitterlings, not tripe) to be well cooked so that it was crunchy, and they served them up just as I like them. They were topped with chopped onion and garlic, and once topped with the spicy green fresh salsa, we gobbled them down. The tortillas were freshly made and had a nice texture. The next dish was the chicken enchiladas en mole. Four enchiladas were well stuffed with white chicken meat then bathed in flavorful mole and served with rice and beans. Thankfully, it wasn't topped with a ridiculously huge glob of melted cheese. Last was the Quesadilla--not your Mama's quesadilla either. It was huge, and it wasn't as cheesy as the quesadillas the average person knows. Inside it was stuffed almost like a taco with big pieces of shrimp in one half and carne asada in the other. There was cheese, but cheese was not the star as it is in the average quesadilla we're all used to. It was good, and we both enjoyed it--it was just a surprise. The place is far from fancy, but they serve real food, and it's real good.
