After being a lifelong Panchero's fan, I have to say that QDOBA beats it by a long shot. I got a bowl with queso, guac, and chips on the side and paid just under $11. I'm pretty sure I left with two meals worth of food. Not to mention, they give you actual scoops of chicken, rather than one tiny spoonful. The staff was friendly, but I was really disappointed with the food preparation. While waiting in line, I saw them boiling frozen meat in plastic bags--something that raises serious health and quality concerns. No wonder the chicken had a rubbery texture and strange taste. I'm also concerned about potential chemical leaching from the plastic, like BPA. And if that's what they're doing out in the open, who knows what other questionable practices are happening behind the scenes? Called back and the guy said they can't help with that and transferred me to a recording that says to email...making the number listed pointless. I go to this QDOBA all the time and usually love the food and the service. But today I had a terrible experience at this Qdoba location. My friend was accused of stealing, and the manager or possibly the owner in the red shirt made a huge scene in front of everyone. It was a complete misunderstanding--the manager had put a bowl in the bag and without my friend realizing it, my friend put what he thought was his own bowl into the bag. He didn't even know about the extra bowl until the manager took it out and started accusing him. We tried clarifying explaining we didn't know but the employee in the red shirt insisted he was stealing and continued his sass/attitude. Instead of handling the situation with respect and understanding, the manager chose to badmouth my friend and create an unnecessary scene. It was completely uncalled for. That staff member should learn to treat their customers with more respect, especially in situations that are clearly just misunderstandings. read more

The taste of the food is off. No portion control. We stopped in the bathroom to wash our hands before eating and the bathroom was a mess and there was no soap. I typically order their tortilla soup (with or without meat) with a little mixing and matching of hot sauce, but this trip I had the opportunity to enjoy their Mango Chicken Salad. Delicious, especially the mango and chutney topping, which was prepared fresh several times that day. Mexican CocaCola, Fanta, Jarrito in bottles, or a well provisioned mix-your-own Coke product fountain drink dispenser provide ample beverage options. This location has always provided good service, and a clean dining area, which is saying something for this type of eatery. This location also has some much appreciated outdoor seating. For being a chain restaurant the serve rather fresh food. We stopped in for lunch and was served quickly. Staff was friendly and the place was super clean. I normally place my orders online for pick up so I never see the makings in action. I elected the burrito bowl. You start by selecting what type of rice you want (recommend the cilantro white rice), then onto the beans (pinto, black or my favorite both), next up meat - went with the brisket, Queso selection (you can even get extra without an additional cost), you can then add peppers, onions, cheese and sour cream. read more

Price is on the upper end of what I value it at, but for all the choices and fresh ingredients it's not unreasonable. Quite a bit better than the other fast food 'chains'. read more

First of all, Qdoba is better than Chipotle. There, I said it. They have free guac and queso!!! Who doesn't love free guac and queso with any dish? That being said, this location is actually pretty cool. The people working there are consistently friendly and quick, and you get a lot of food for your buck. Why did I dock a star if I like this place so much? A couple reasons... This particular location is right off of ingersoll and its a pain to get in and out of the parking lot because the street is so busy and the parking lot is laid out strangely. Second, they took my beloved barbacoa off the menu and replaced it with brisket!! Brisket in Mexican food?!? To be honest, it's still pretty good, but not next level good like the barbacoa I grew to love and adore. So I was pretty sure I found plastic in my burrito. There were these solid white chunks that were super hard and I couldn't chew them. I then realized they may be uncooked rice. Then when I came across uncooked corn as well, I figured that was what was going on. But imagine chewing on hard, uncooked corn or rice. So gross, hurt teeth and made me lose my appetite. I am glad they opened this place close to downtown. Although I am a Chipotle guy, I usually can't make it so far out of town to enjoy Chipotle, this is the next best thing close to downtown. There is The Fighting Burrito, but this location is a bit closer to other places and parking is easier with this parking lot. They have great Queso, not as good Guac compared to Chipotle obviously. As far as chains go, I dig Qdoba and Chipotle! Lots of vegan options. The lines move fast, the food is always good and hot and the employees at both chains are always really nice. This location is no different than any others I have been to around the country! Hot, Fast food, that will fill you up in no time! I dig the burrito bowls or the actual Veggie Burrito, I dig that they put guac on the veggie burrito for free and the staff here does not skimp on beans, rice, or salsa's! Little tip when they ask what kinda of beans you want, SAY BOTH they will hook you up, to the point of your burrito being so big that it falls apart and you have to eat it with a fork! I am so glad that Qdoba opened up on Ingersoll! The location is absolutely perfect! It's on the way to work for me, and it's not too far away from work, should I get a craving. Chipotle, though equally good, is too far away for a lunch break. I also prefer this location over the one on University Ave. This Qdoba is open until 10 p.m. every night. Love the pulled pork burrito with queso. Add that with a Barq's Root Beer and it's pure heaven. If I'm with someone, I'll get the chips and queso and/or guac. I also like how they have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (for some odd reason, when they first opened, they only had fountain drinks, but I guess they were waiting at the time for the FreeStyle.) Also, this location is in the same building as T-Mobile, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and Noodles & Company, so Qdoba isn't the only one that has picked a great location! There's free parking, too! I am so impressed with the service EVERY time I go to QDoba. I try not to review chain restaurants, but this place deserves it! All the employees great me with a smile. I have only purchased their "burrito bowl", and they have been generous with their servings/portions. They don't charge extra for guac! The prices are unbeatable for the portions they give at this location. My burrito bowl is always $8.xx (I can't remember the cents off the top of my head). The restaurant is ALWAYS clean and the atmosphere is rather quiet and relaxed. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (the amazing soda fountain that allows you have about any delicious soda + fruit/vanilla syrup combo!). First timer here. I was incredibly impressed with the superb customer service at the Ingersoll location! I informed workers it was my first time ordering and we went swiftly through the line. My server was very clear on what I could get and what was or wasn't an additional charge. The cashier at the end was very helpful and polite. I was surprised to be in and out at split time! Staff is courteous. Facility is clean with self-serve soda machine with lots of varieties (I.e. you can even get sparkling water). Got the new special: fire-roasted shrimp tacos. I grade the tacos itself 4/5. Sufficient shrimp but the taste would be better if it was more limey. Yes, i know you can add lime on the side yourself but to me it just lacked flavor. Maybe some chili flakes would have been nice. It had guac and some pineapple and veggie stuff. You can opt to add whatever else you want at no extra charge. I had them add pico de gallo which added some flavor to the tacos. Will definitely return! read more

Went to get some Qdoba Mexican food today and had the worst service ever! Was only ordering two things and the first person who helped me was very nice and listened to everything I wanted. The other was a young kid I'm assuming was a manager with the black shirt on and he messed up the order my wife wanted and kept saying he thought I asked for something else to put on my burrito but told him I did not want that specific item on my burrito. He threw a fit and tossed the unfinished burrito behind him and started over. Then I asked him for a side of guacamole and I noticed he did not have gloves on!!! We are under a pandemic and he has no gloves on as well mask? I payed for my order then I had to remind him of my receipt. The service was bad and the music was loud. They need to learn to slow down instead making the customers feel they need to rush making their orders. I'm very upset with this situation and as I walked out, I tossed my meal in the trash that cost me $20.00 due to not wearing gloves. I went down the road to Pachero's instead and had the best service. Never going back to Qdoba again nor will I recommend it to anyone!!!! read more
