Driving down the interstate and realizing it is dinner time. Good luck finding something open. Pulled into the Petro Truck Stop and found this in the small food court. The food was to the standards of Qdoba. I had the bowl which was very good. Plenty of protein to go with the other ingredients I selected. Portion was sufficient. Being located in the truck stop makes this site even more convenient. Fuel pumps in the front and Tesla chargers in the back make this a one-stop oasis. There is also a fenced in playground /picnic area for the kids to run around and burn off some energy. Got dogs? Dog parks got either big or small pooches. In all this worked out to be an ideal stop along the highway. read more

Nothing beats fresh food on a road trip. This QDOBA was a good experience - they were patient with our family with young kids, accommodating when they ran out of juice boxes (they went over to Quiznos to get another box) and they gave us a bag of chips when there was confusion with the kids meal order and we didn't receive any chips for the nachos. Regular, delicious QDOBA food and a super friendly/helpful team. And the cafeteria style shared seating dining room was pretty clean with plenty of high-chairs to use. read more

We all know it can be difficult to find healthy fast food when traveling across Kansas on I 70. We were excited to find this QDOBA. We both ordered tacos and they were delish. Colby Kansas provided probably the worst Qdoba experience I've ever had. We ask if they offer the "pick two" and the server rudely says, "You mean the Craft Two, and no we don't." I ask for one of the new quesos and I'm told it isn't something they have. That's funny because the dude is standing right in front of a HUGE poster advertising their new queso offerings. I get three specialty tacos and they just haphazardly throw them together, making a mess on the plate in the process. Got a monster burrito that was actually mediocre, but I crammed everything on the bar in it that I could, so it was a mish mash of all kinds of flavors that probably shouldn't have gone together. Service was decent, but they probably deal with people all day: parents with indecisive kids, entitled buttholes, people who don't know how to speak louder, people trying to get huge portions and asking for extra everything expecting it to be free, etc. On top of that, they're probably paid a little more than minimum wage and their manager probably isn't very helpful or supportive. I will say that the person whom I assume is the manager (heavy set blonde lady) wasn't mean but wasn't friendly either, then again, probably has a unsupportive general manager that isn't paying her well either. So with all of that considered, I cut them a lot of slack. Solid four stars. read more

This location is inside a gas station that also has a Quiznos & a Starbucks...called an Oasis. There is a playground and picnic area outside if your kids need to run around after long drive. The set up is kind of like a mall food court so different restaurants share the eating area which was pretty dirty & had flies. The food was average. I got a naked burrito which is a bowl with the burrito fillings. I got the vegetarian and I skipped the beans and asked for two servings of vegetables instead (I got charged for it while Chipotle never does) and then they charged me for the guacamole which was supposed to be included. Tip: if you are going to get guacamole (which is 1.19) get it on the side. They only put about two ounces on top of my bowl but my husband got 4 on the side. read more

I ordered the taco salad and after getting back on the highway I opened my dinner and it's not the taco salad I ordered there's no salad shell, all of the toppings I ordered are in a cardboard bowl. What a waste of money. I don't know who eats off of cardboard but I don't. If you order and pay for a taco salad that's what you should get. read more

I would avoid supporting the owner of this franchise at all costs. I ordered a side of beans, rice, and mango salsa. I can't eat a whole burrito and drive! When I got to the register, the young woman told me they'd have to "resize" my rice and beams. I love Qdoba, and so nice to have it here in Colby. We have very few good places to eat. It's quick and very tasty. I am partial to the Queso Burrito. Whole wheat flour tortilla, white rice, black beans, chicken, queso, pico de gallo, corn, and guacamole. Of course you can pick whatever you want on yours. They also offer a number of other choices like nachos, tacos, and bowls. They aren't the cheapest place, but it feels like healthier food than most of the other fast food places. read more

I now plan my trips going to or leaving Colorado by; "what time will I be passing through Colby KS?" so I can stop at the this Qdoba- my favorite restaurant on all of I-70. I have made this stop for over 3 years, all time of the day and evening, never once been disappointed with the food, and literally will not make the haul across KS if I can't stop to enjoy their food along the way. Worst Qdoba I've ever been to. I asked them to please put my burrito on their griddle to melt the cheese (which every other of the dozens of Qdobas I've been to has been willing to do with a smile), and they refused in a very rude manner. They said they could only grill it if I ordered a Quesadilla. I said fine, so they threw out my burrito, put the same exact ingredients on an identical tortilla and grilled it since I called it a Quesadilla. Quite disappointed. I am a card-carrying Qdoba customer. This Qdoba outlet is far below standards and taste of many others I've patronized. First, it is a scaled-down outlet; not offering the full menu, such as no Craft 2 and no ala carte. I ordered grilled quesadilla. The worker warmed the tortilla for 5 secs; then spooned on my select ingredients. When completed, it was not grilled in the Qdoba usual manner. Instead it was folded/rolled/wrapped into a bundle small enough to wrap in paper and place in a small paper sack for carrying away. When I questioned to the cashier (I think the manager on duty) that it wasn't really a grilled quesadilla because it wasn't grilled, his response, "well it does have grilled chicken in it". In the end I felt the item was over-priced, not tasty, and certainly not what I wanted when I placed the order. read more
