    QDOBA entry

First time at Qdoba here in Cape Coral. I have been to the one in Tampa at Dale Mabry. It is a nice new restaurant, bright and very clean. I ordered the Chicken Protein Bowl, which was perfect for me because I am watching my carbs. It consisted of a double serving of chicken breast, guacamole, red salsa, salsa verde, grilled veggies, a very little amount of romaine and I didn't want any beans. The chicken consisted of light and dark meat. The grilled veggies were minimal, and the romaine almost non existent. I liked the fact that they had pickled onions, but you only got like three little pieces. Dave had the brisket bowl with two kinds of beans and no rice. He spoke to the manager on the way out to find out if they are going to have outside seating. It seems to me that they are really new and have to get their act together. We really wish this business the best of luck in our community and will be back in a few weeks to try again.

My wife used to love this place. But lately you get half a bowl. So we decided to try chipotle again.

My husband and I used our BOGOs from Qdoba and are so glad we did! We had such a great experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the place was clean. They loaded on the toppings ensuring you got your moneys worth. The food was fresh and delicious! Just what we were looking for. We will be going back and highly recommend!

    Just pretty flour tacos

First a little background I am from San Francisco California the home of the burrito. Plus I am old school. Let's start off with a good thing. ( Note this was delivered by Uber in a timely manner..) The food is very pretty and taste okay but it is not real Mexican authentic.... First off they do not offer just plain white rice or refried beans which are staples of authentic burritos.... They use fancy rice as part of their main ingredients. Which does not add to the flavor of the food as it just gets lost and adds more expense to the item overall... I requested two tacos and I know I would never order just flour tortillas I would always order crispy corn taco shells but instead I got this plain flour tortillas... as you can see in the photograph it is very pretty but at five dollars each quite over priced considering how cheap tortillas are which are like $.10-$.15 if you'd buy at the grocery store... because they're charging five dollars you're paying for the overhead of the store. Plus if it was authentic it would be corn tortillas deep fried in lard... and remember fat equals flavor. I also got a burrito costing me around $11.... Plus looking at the photograph with the salt shaker next to it for the size you can see the burrito was not as big as you would actually get in San Francisco... Overall the food tasted just OK but this is a bastardize Americanized version of Mexican cuisine... And since it is well known that Floridians have horrible taste buds this is the perfect place for them to go get a wannabe burrito.. So I guess my search for a real authentic burrito in this hellhole will continue..

So good. Love the food, and Derrick was friendly and helpful, even while being efficient and helping lead the crew.

When Mr.Roberto greeted us it truly felt like he was welcoming us into his home. We were seated and I ordered a lime house margarita and the jalapeño queso to start. The margarita blew me out of the water. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from getting another one (maybe on the weekend hehehe) the queso came out warm and Cheesey just how you want it! They give chips and salsa to start. Three types in a bottle and a pico type in a container. This is wonderful for me because I am a little baby when it comes to spice so I enjoyed the flavorful mild (green) while my boyfriend was a fan of the dark red really spicy one! For our mains we both got tacos he got the carne asada soft shell taco combo which came with three and I got the taco supreme which came with 2 mine were hard shell with a layer of cheese and then a soft shell. I really appreciate how they use shredded cheese on the tacos I got- it was very authentic and reminded me of actual Mexican food from Mexico and not this east coast Mexican food I can't seem to get away from in FL! We finished off the night with the flaun which was creamy and the perfect way to end this feast. We had to go boxes when we left and a beautiful heartfelt conversation with Mr.Roberto. He was full of pride, kindness, and personality. He made sure to visit every table and the atmosphere made me never want to do a to go order because then you'd be missing out of all the immaculate vibes. I can't wait to go back!

I went with a selection of tacos - asada, chorizo and pollo. The chorizo was my favorite. They make their own salsa in three levels of spice. My favorite was the mild. It was creamy and flavorful. I also had an hankering for dessert so I tried the flan. It was probably better than the meal itself! It wasn't too sweet but it was rich and delicious - don't miss it if you're coming here.

This restaurant quickly became our go-to dinner spot. We found El Local on Yelp about a month ago…read moreand decided to try it out. It was a very busy Friday night, but the service was fantastic. Every server and team member was engaged with the tables, with more than one server checking on us (and others). They were also great at making recommendations for our food, since we had never eaten there. I forgot to take pictures but we've been back 3 times since! The food has been fantastic! Fresh herbs, tender meat, flavorful ingredients and everything we've had has been great. Previously we tried gorditas (soooo good), enchiladas and two kinds of burritos. This time, we chose quesabirria and shredded beef enchiladas. Both were fantastic! Even more, the drinks are incredible. The bartender has made a few different drinks, including margaritas and mojitos and they're never too sweet, just refreshing and delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is very easy going, fun (with some Latin music on) and relaxing environment. It's been very clean on each visit as well. Can't wait to go back!

The hype is real! After reading all the reviews and seeing all the yummy pics, we decided to stop…read morein and try it for ourselves. We came on a Saturday around 5 and it was busy, we were told there would be almost an hour wait on the food and there wasn't a table available so we sat at the bar. It was worth it. I had met the bartender at an event before and was pleasantly surprised to see him behind the bar but he was working his magic and the drinks coming out looks beautiful. He took great care of us. We ordered flautas and a torta, the food came out in 20 minutes and it was soo delicious. The food felt and tasted so authentic. The space is not small but not big and it's def unique but festive and cool. We tried visiting again on Thursday for dinner but this time there was a line outside, we need to time this better but worth it.
