Bowl - lots of pickled onions

We enjoyed a quick and easy meal from Qdoba last night. It was our first time visiting this new location in Fort Myers, and we have not had Qdoba since we lived in Michigan years ago. The service was really quick and friendly, I enjoyed a burrito bowl and all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. And my fiancé enjoyed a Birria burrito which he liked as well. Insider tip, I learned that Qdoba will give you two scoops of guacamole included for free, but they start off by only giving you one scoop. Make sure youask. Definitely not authentic five star, Mexican, but pretty dang good fresh food

Qdoba finally came to my town! I've never been inside of one but I've seen it in other towns and excited to try it. I finally gave it a whirl and it's my new favorite Mexican fast food. I got the brisket birria burrito. Outstanding. It reminds me of Bahia that went out of business years ago in the forum. Food is fresh and they include queso and gauc for FREE! The place is nice and clean. We went around 2pm on a Tuesday and it was fairly empty. I hope they stick around because it is great tasting!

Always have a great experience when here. The GM is awesome! Would rather come here over Chipotle or Moes.

Tucked in the shopping plaza at Winkler / Gladiolus in Ft Myers, this cute and cozy spot has easy access to and from the beach and close to Health Park hospital. There are booths and a few tables for seating and to-go orders were available and certainly popular on our visit. The decor was festive and soft Mexican music played in the background. Bottled Mexican sodas, can sodas and beer are available. We chose sodas and chips and salsa to start as we scanned the menu. Please note, this is not like going to a typical American Mexican restaurant were chips and salsa come complimentary; you'll pay for a basket of fresh, hot, crispy tortilla chips and a 3 types of fresh salsa : green, spicy red and a creamy green. All were exceptional and fresh. Hubby ordered combo fajitas; beef and chicken. It came with a generous side of beans, rice and tortillas. I ordered the chicken flautas which also came with a side of beans and rice. Fajitas; meats were juicy and vegetables were cooked perfect. The flour tortillas were homemade and perfect taco size. Chicken flautas were crispy with a nice helping of shredded lettuce and cream sauce atop. We both enjoyed the refried beans and rice. Although my only complaint would be a bit more seasoning as I did use salt. Service was friendly, swift and efficient. The restaurant was tidy and clean. Definitely an easy laid back vibe. Can't wait for our next visit; I eyed the chicken nachos and they looked divine!

When Mr.Roberto greeted us it truly felt like he was welcoming us into his home. We were seated and I ordered a lime house margarita and the jalapeño queso to start. The margarita blew me out of the water. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from getting another one (maybe on the weekend hehehe) the queso came out warm and Cheesey just how you want it! They give chips and salsa to start. Three types in a bottle and a pico type in a container. This is wonderful for me because I am a little baby when it comes to spice so I enjoyed the flavorful mild (green) while my boyfriend was a fan of the dark red really spicy one! For our mains we both got tacos he got the carne asada soft shell taco combo which came with three and I got the taco supreme which came with 2 mine were hard shell with a layer of cheese and then a soft shell. I really appreciate how they use shredded cheese on the tacos I got- it was very authentic and reminded me of actual Mexican food from Mexico and not this east coast Mexican food I can't seem to get away from in FL! We finished off the night with the flaun which was creamy and the perfect way to end this feast. We had to go boxes when we left and a beautiful heartfelt conversation with Mr.Roberto. He was full of pride, kindness, and personality. He made sure to visit every table and the atmosphere made me never want to do a to go order because then you'd be missing out of all the immaculate vibes. I can't wait to go back!

I got shredded beef instead. I asked a long time waitress and she said that's what "steak is for today". So I paid up for steak, get shredded beef and a shoulder shrug explanation. I then made clear I am not eating it and won't pay for something I didn't order that they knowingly served when it wasnt my order. Then another bartender lectures me if you don't order "carne asada" even though the menu says steak in English that's "your mistake and not theirs" lol. They dropped that and then tried to charge my dads meal despite fathers eating free on Father's Day and begrudgingly took it off. just do better, and If you can't read your menu you don't play linguistic games with customers to cheat them is where I stand. I did eventually find another restaurant to eat thankfully and got what I ordered magically lol.
