I made an appointment, but they have a lot of rooms and masseuse, so the girl after me was able to do a walk-in. I love lots of pressure and my masseuse was able to deliver! She made sure I was fine with the pressure a few times throughout the massage. Friendly and nice. I had gotten a Groupon and was lectured a bit at the front about not being able to use it again without me saying anything. But I'm used to this attitude and understand they don't get much after the fees, so no argument there and she gave me a discount card for $10 off next time - $60 for 60 minutes. I could understand why some reviews say the front desk/owner is rude.

My first two visits were for couples massages with my husband, and today he surprised me with a two-hour massage! One of my favorite things about this place is how beautiful, clean, and relaxing it is. It always smells incredible the moment you walk in, which immediately sets the tone for a great experience. The massage therapists are wonderful. They never make you feel rushed, take their time throughout the entire service, and regularly check in to make sure the pressure is exactly right. Another huge plus is their availability. It's so easy to book, and they're open until 9 PM, which has been a lifesaver after stressful workdays. My husband and I have even gone together in the evening just to unwind. Because of its location, I think this place could easily be overlooked, but it absolutely shouldn't be. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming spa with excellent massages and caring therapists, Massage Crystal is definitely worth a visit. I can't recommend them enough!

This was my second visit - and I knew I would return from the moment I walked in, the first time. I enjoyed the 60 minute session on that visit two weeks ago. I felt like I was walking on clouds when I walked out! That's my litmus test of a truly life-changing spa experience! The staff is personable, courteous and helpful - which does so much to enhance the upscale, calm and serene ambiance. And the prices are very reasonable - I have paid more elsewhere, for far less quality! Today, (5/24), I had the 90-minute session with medicated oil and hot stones add-on. Outstanding! I am a deep tissue massage client. Angela not only asked me about my areas of need, she also guided me through the process, step by step as she kneaded my joints, muscles, tendons, and performed firm, but gentle range of motion tests. Her assessment included tips on how to remedy/alleviate the tension in those areas. However, there was minimal talking, only when necessary. The soft music and dimmed lights were perfect for maximum relaxation. I could go on and on singing the praises of Massage Crystal and team! I have added these visits to my wellness regimen - and am taking Angela's advice! I highly recommend this spa for their top tier treatment, sleek and modern furnishings, calm environment, exceptional massage therapists and staff. Dena (sp) at the front desk today, reminded me about my Massage Crystal card (thankfully in my wallet), and stamped it for me. You know I made an appointment for next month! 10/10 = Walking on clouds sensation!

I would strongly recommend that no one go to Massage spring in Rockville…read more You go to a massage parlor to relieve stress, ease pain, and relax -- but this experience was terrible from the very beginning. First, the pricing is completely misleading. Their website clearly lists a couples massage for $90 (and I have a screenshot to prove it). However, when it came time to pay, they charged $130 instead. That's a huge difference, and it feels dishonest and deceptive. Second, they aggressively pressured us to tip. Tipping should be based on service and left to the customer's discretion -- it should never feel forced or bullied. To make matters worse, they placed us in a room that I'm almost certain doubles as a break room. It did not feel professional, clean, or prepared for paying customers. The most unacceptable part of the entire experience was when the female masseuse slapped my butt and laughed. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I did not come here to be touched in that manner. A massage should feel safe and respectful -- this did not. Overall, this was uncomfortable, misleading, and unprofessional from start to finish. I'm writing this as a warning to others. Save your money and go somewhere that values professionalism and respects its customers. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I was able to make a next-day appointment. The employee who answered the phone and made the appointment was very nice and accommodating. Within minutes of me booking my appointment over the phone, she texted me a confirmation and the location details, which was extremely helpful. There was even a picture. I arrive the next day for my massage. Well, the outside is a bit unsuspecting, the inside is quaint and comfortable. The set up is very similar to the types of massage and reflexology spas that she would find in places like Chinatown or K-Town (pick a city). There are small rooms with curtain doorways down the hall. Each room has a bed, a couple shelves, and just enough space for the masseuse to navigate around. My masseuse, whose name I unfortunately, did not catch, started with my back. After giving me a nice massage, which was about a half step lighter than I would have liked in terms of pressure, she applied the cups. After the cups were on, she began massaging other parts of my body. The hot stones were only used on my back and neck while I was faced down. I did ask for deeper pressure at various points. The pressure was pretty good, but it wasn't as deep as I would've liked. The deepest pressure I felt was in my shoulder blades, and that was actually very nice. But for my legs, I definitely should've asked for even more pressure. I didn't want to go too hard because after asking twice, I wasn't sure if she could even go any harder. Lol. The spa is clean. And they are very transparent with pricing. They are also very accommodating and will do things like get you water before and after. When I made the appointment, I was also asked if I had a gender, preference, which I appreciate. Next time, I may opt for a man. They tend to be a little bit rougher, which is what I need sometimes. All in all, though, this was a pretty good massage. The spa was clean, and everyone was very nice.
