After years and years of hard work and study, my son is finally finishing his residency in Memphis…read more We wanted to send him one of his favorite bottles of wine as a congratulations gift, but it was complicated by the fact that my wife and I live in California. We started shopping all the online wine delivery sites, but no one delivers to Tennessee. So then we started calling all the local wine bars, wine shops, and liquor stores. Either they did not have what we were looking for or they did not deliver. We finally stumbled upon Kimbrough Fine Wine & Spirits. Although they didnt have exactly what we were looking for, they DID deliver and they collectively suggested a very good alternative. Next, we were directed to their website to deliver. Unfortunately, after 100 attempts, we were unable to successfully navigate the system. That is where Claudia the owner came in. Claudia worked with us over a half dozen phone call to complete the order. In the end, it didn't work, and Claudia graciously offered to have one of her team personally deliver the bottle of wine to my son's apartment. Not only that, but she gift wrapped it and sent us a photo! End of the story; He received his bottle of wine and loved it. Thank you to Kimbrough and Claudia!
