This is my first time using the app. I literally downloaded this app so I can tell you about my…read moreexperience. I'll get straight to the point. The person who was supposed to do our piercing had a stick up their butt. We called three times to make sure we could come in on the same day. Called to let them know we would be late because there was so much traffic and construction. We drove an hour and a half away. Anyway, we called the last time to let them know how far we were. They said to come on in, we asked if we should leave our name and number, they said no it was fine they were expecting us. Okay, so we walked in, we waited, and the piercer told us they would not do the appointment. Okay cool they were closing in 30 minutes. I can understand not wanting to do that anymore but why didn't they call us back and tell us they can't anymore? Everyone's time is valuable so I understand. I offered more money just in case we could. They got upset and had an attitude that I even asked. As if I personally offended them. They made it my problem that they wanted to close early. No means no, I respect that. So why were they speaking rudely. Of course that was annoying. So I asked if there was a place they recommended and I was asking more questions and they talked over me. I was taken aback by this behavior. I only wanted to try and ask. It was my sister's birthday and she wanted something special. The way they were speaking made her cry but she was very kind. Anyways I said for future reference it would be nice for proper communication and a heads-up. I don't know much about business etiquette but I do know that it wasn't nice for them to act the way they did. I in no way feel entitled to anyone's services but a little southern hospitality goes a long way. Anyways I figured I would leave my one and only review for this place. I wonder if things would be different if we were white. We went here because it was woman owned. "How empowering", apparently not.

Wow! 5 Stars beyond belief!…read more If you are "shopping" around for a location to get a tattoo, PLEASE stop now! This location is amazing and well worth every minute and dollar. We inquired and put in our reservation months prior and are beyond happy we did. We came as a group of 5 friends from coast to coast, Portland, San Francisco, and Baltimore for our annual vacation. We didn't know who was going to be placing our tattoos on us but holy crap we go so lucky with Sean! No joke! He is amazing. Super calming. Amazing hospitality. Super Friendly. From the time of check in, we were greeted with a smile behind a mask in the "hole-in-the-wall" shop. We have all been tattoo'ed before and knew what to expect but this shop had something very different and special about it. My happiest part of the experience is that we all are LGBTQA+ identifying and Sean made us feel incredibly welcome. We can't thank him enough for such an amazing experience. When it came to the tattooing experience, Sean was very patient with all of us with the location of the design we wanted, how large or small we wanted it, and the time needed with the expectation of endurance we needed to have for the design. He sanitized everything multiple times before, during, and after all of us. I was super impressed with World Famous Smokies Tattoo. From the initial communication through email months prior to our interaction today, we are in love. If we're ever back in Gatlinburg or even Pigeon Forge again, we will absolutely be back for more! Thank you Sean and all who made our FRAMilies Gatlinburg experience fantastic!

Conversation was great! The most interesting People hop in off the street just to come in and hang out with these guys. Very personable, empathetic (rub me down with those warm rags mmhmm) patient and thoughtful not to mention the skill and experience. Each artist genuinely cares and encourages the other. They Collaborate, ask opinions, crack jokes and enjoy spending time with new faces. Not saying my soft belly fat will ever forgive me but I couldn't be more pleased. It's healing well and the colors are amazing. LFG PS they have also infected my playlist with slow heavy metal. Love that ish the wife not so much. HA!

Hot Stuff Tattoo has a huge sign on their front door that explicitly says: "We Welcome ALL…read moreAbilities & Disabilities... EVERYONE." Unfortunately, this turns out to be performative marketing rather than store policy. I came in with three friends/family to get flash tattoos, but I was denied service because I brought my legitimate, trained service dog. I was told I could not enter or that my medical service animal had to be left in the lobby, separated from me. When questioned, the management blamed local sanitation and "DHEC." Under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), federal law preempts state health department regulations regarding service dogs. Tattoo shops are clean environments, not sterile operating rooms, and service animals are legally protected to accompany their handlers in client areas. Separating a service dog from their handler or turning them away denies essential medical access. It is incredibly humiliating to be publicly turned away--taking three paying clients out the door with me--from a shop that literally posts "Welcome All Disabilities" on its entrance. If you claim to welcome people of all abilities on your front door, you need to follow federal civil rights laws inside
