All I have to say is that tiffani did an amazing job with my tattoo and they are some of the nicest people to have ever walked this planet. I would recommend this artist specifically because she doesn't have a heavy hand at all.

We were on vacation in Pigeon Forge, a friend and me are big on getting impromptu tattoos. We researched some places and came across American Rebel Tattoo, reviews on google were great, so we headed in. They have a 'get what you get machine' I was so excited to get a random tattoo. I paid the $125, and was so excited to get a ghost. While speaking with the artist, Gina, she revealed she had only been tattooing for about a year, but assured me that she wouldn't be working here 'if they didn't know what I was doing'. We unfortunately went ahead with the tattoo. I was speaking to my friend, we were going back and forth for her idea because she was going to go next. She wiped me down and when the tattoo was revealed I'm sure my face said it all. It's extremely shaky , overlapped lines, horrible. Gina said she could 'fix the lines by shading more' , like noooo. I left immediately. I'll take the L, and get it covered eventually. Lesson learned

From the time we stepped in, I felt like we were very well taken care of. Nevada did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier to finish this piece with him. We started a great thigh piece, will do color at a later date. Thank you American Rebel Tattoo and Nevada for taking care of us.

Inspo

Do Not Go Here!! It's a tourist trap for expensive crappy tattoos. I got mine a week ago, followed every instruction and it looks like crap now! it's even the wrong design (which I should've noticed) but didn't think you could possibly screw it up. Lines and some basic flowers. Now I live 7 hours away and paid $135 for this tattoo that I am going to have to pay more to have an experienced tattoo artist fix it because I'm not driving 7 hours. I wish I could get a refund to actually get it fixed and looking the way it should. 1st pic is the tattoo 2nd picture was inspo.

This is what it was supposed to look like.

Please do not take this review lightly. My friend and I decided on getting a tattoo while we were on vacation in Pidgeon Forge for the weekend. made an appointment with someone named Earl. When we got there, I got a very bad vibe. No art on the walls, no books to look at, Earl certainly didn't introduce himself to me, he just said: "what do you want?" I told him I wanted some billowing, colorful smoke as filler behind some other tats I have. He giggled (didn't notice that he was high AF at the time). Long story short, he completely butchered my arm, it looks like someone punched me in the shoulder a bunch of times and gave me bruises. Now I have to find a shop at home that can fix it. I showed the owner what he did to me and got a refund. No apology though. Please stay far away.

Best place to get a tattoo in the Smokies. I won't go anywhere else! Phil, Brett, and Ruben have all done great work on me and my wife, always accommodating, usually not a long wait for walk-ins. Very professional, clean, inviting place. All staff has been incredible. Prices are reasonable especially considering it's right on Parkway on the Pigeon Forge line. Highly recommended!

Phil did excellent work! Heavy hand while drawing, but made time for me and only took about 15 minutes to do. I'm impressed with how well it turned out!

I'm updating my review for my fiancé's tattoo. Mine turned out great and healed nicely. Thanks Eric! My fiancé's, however, looks pretty bad. There are some blank spots in the tattoo where it looks like Ruben tattooed too deep (it is an all-black solid symbol) so when it healed, the skin completely flaked off. He will need to have someone touch it up where we live in NJ.

I've had both piercings and INK done there. Quality work by their artists. Good advice, clean, friendly place.

While Martin is a great artist and I have no complaints about my tattoo itself, I will say, that in my opinion, he is a thief. I was charged $572 for a 3 hour tattoo. A three hour tattoo at $150 an hour comes to a total cost of $450 + tax. While I believe in paying for quality, I did feel like he 'milked the clock' to increase his profit. My tattoo is simple and did not require three hours, especially from a talented and experienced artist. The reason I feel like I was stolen from is because I paid $110 as a deposit to hold my spot. I received an invoice that states it is a DEPOSIT. Since it's a deposit I was under the impression that the $110 would come off the total of the tattoo. That's the way it works in most businesses and how the deposits were applied in previous tattoos I've had done. When Martin finished my tattoo I was told by Tyler, who handled the check-out process, that the $110 would in fact come off the total. Since it was a three hour tattoo the total came to $450+ tax. My balance was to be $340 + tax. Instead my card was charged $462. With the $110 deposit I ended up paying $572 total! I was not given a receipt and I had the tattoo done on the day I was heading back home from my vacation. It was not until I got back home that I realized that I had been overcharged. I called the tattoo studio to explain the error. I spoke to an artist that told me the deposit should have come off the total. I was told to email Martin and everything would be fine and the charge would be taken off. By then I had been told a few times that I had paid a deposit that was to come off of the balance and had hope that this 'error' would be corrected. I was wrong. After several emails back and forth I was told that they did not overcharge me. That, in their opinion, they had given me a deal because Martin normally charges $200 an hour. Their Facebook page clearly states $150 an hour and I was told that he charges $150. I was never told I was receiving a 'deal' in any of the emails that were exchanged prior to me entering their studio to have my tattoo done, nor during or after the work. Also, as I stated above, my invoice for the $110 clearly states it's a deposit. The dictionary defines a deposit as 'a sum payable as a first installment on the purchase of something or as a pledge for a contract, the balance being payable later'. I was also told in those email exchanges discussing the overcharge, that Martin doesn't work at the studio and just came in to do my tattoo. That is a clear lie as he is put forth as the owner of the studio. One room, which is clearly his work area, has his face on the walls. During the time he was doing my tattoo he went on a "smoke break" and came back reeking of weed. Then proceeded to say things to hint at the fact that he was high. In my opinion, that is completely unprofessional behavior from a business owner. I did check reviews before I decided on this studio but I should've done more digging or research into this business and their practices. The rude, condescending, sarcastic replies regarding bad or less than stellar reviews were clearly present online, on multiple platforms. When I mentioned that in an email some of those replies or the whole review was then removed. But there are many still out there. So, behaving unprofessionally is common practice for this business. I fully expect some of the same behavior in response to this review. I just want out-of-towners to beware. There are many talented tattoo artists out there, who are also trust worthy and professional. Unfortunately, that is not the case with Martin and his studio.
