And, Proudly I say that I have comfortably made "Lexington Club Senior Apartments" my permanent Mansion, Castle, Rivera & Paradisical Celestial Home unless or until I am unfortunately Evicted and/or meet my untimely demise. Graciously, in my many years of residency under various different owners and in-house staff...I have found the LEX Management & Maintenance staff (then & now) to be professional, approachable, personable, serviceable and accomodating. Especially the present Commendable "2025 Lex Team", such as; PM Eubank, APM Godbout, LS Perez, MSupv Price, GK Vazquez and Pt Laborer Eduardo!!!! In my pleasant opinion, the Office Team has been polite, efficient and readily available to assist me in required housing needs, private issues and/or documentation. And to me the Maintenance Team is respectful, prompt and thorough when completing my personal home repairs or tenant building concerns. Trust and Believe...it has been my pleasure to speak on behalf of the LEX on-site team and my residency. More importantly, my comments are honestly based on my private Interactions and personal Observations as a longstanding, hopefully outstanding Resident. Kindly be informed that my only humble request(s) reflecting future consideration are for the hopeful fixing/opening of our beautiful Pool, Security Officers -or- Cameras for our added safety for Seniors, building and/or-mailroom, community areas. And, the touch up of our several enter/exit doors/apartment windows of the entire development...to ehance the splender & beauty of our Neighborly Community. Particularly on April 15, 2026, there was a fire at the apartment complex causing damage to my apartment. [name removed], the Community Manager said I could move to another vacant apartment while restoration work was being done to my apartment. I asked who would move my furniture. [name removed] replied "I had the hire someone to move my furniture to the vacant apartment and then hire someone to move my furniture back to my apartment when the restoration work was completed". I then asked [name removed] if the company would reimburse me if I went to a hotel she denied my request. Since the fire on April 15, 2026, only limited work has been performed on my apartment. For example, on April 15, my windows were boarded up in my bedroom. The workers did not adequately cover up my furniture, the plastic covering parts of my ceiling is becoming undone. A company representative inspected my apartment on April 23, 2026. However, to date no restoration work has been scheduled Below is a few additional complaints during my 2 year stay: 1. Prior to the fire, maintenance have not responded to my maintenance requests in a timely fashion. 2. The water is turned off across the building on many occasions disrupting daily activities for hours. 3. The leasing officer needs training on her telephone etiquette as she has been extremely unprofessional to me when she answers the phone. Note I gave Kendrick Court a rating of 1 because I accidentally press the 1 button and could not change. Rating should be 0.

    My father-in-law and mother-in-law moved in here around March of 2025. They're both in their 80s…read moreand the office has been exceptionally kind to them - fulfilling requests for a new, taller toilet, bars in the shower, handicap parking, etc. My in-laws were able to be easily placed into a first-floor unit quickly and their staff in the front office have been excellent. The lobby is nice, mail is nice, and trash pick-up is 5x a week and they can just put it right outside their door! So great for elderly folks bc they don't have to trek their big trash bags across a parking lot to a dumpster somewhere. They also allow pets. It's quiet, tucked away, but also close to the interstate (like 2 minutes away), and near tons of shopping and right in the midst of things off Laskin/Birdneck roads while feeling removed with trees and a private outdoor space (outside my father-in-law's unit). The units have a nice layout - my father-in-law's is a two bedroom with two bathrooms and a spacious dining area and main living area with a fireplace and large windows and a patio door to an outside small concrete patio area where he has his grill. The bedrooms are arranged such that there is a privacy door and a huge closet and bathroom on each side which I call the "wings" so you'd be able to have complete privacy and not have to go into a hallway to use a bathroom. Parking is a bit of a problem as I don't think there are that many visitor spots close to the units - there is a large guest area but it's a looooong walk and with a baby and any items we're dropping off it makes for a long drive with no short-term parking out front for unloading. My biggest complaint would be the towing which I get, but they will do it in like 2-3 minutes and sneak up and snatch a car parked out front like thieves in the night and when the above is an issue... that's not very easy when we're trying to bring something in or drop something off for our in-laws that's heavy like groceries or an item we purchased for him. All said and done, he's very happy here and they've been good to him.

    very dated. parking is a nightmare unless you want to pay…read more$115/mo for a spot. forget guest parking it is also far away and inconvenient and unsafe. there are no security cameras for deter and no security. walls are very thin for my apartment it's like living below a haunted 3 ring circus. my walls and celling shake so bad that the lightbulbs on the ceiling lights shake and the glass on the chandelier rattles. I hear every footfall, door close and water running. AC Is loud and inefficient, appliances are from 1980s I think. oven temp doesn't hold steady, the coils are so uneven that cooking is very difficult. dryer takes minimum of 3 60 minutes cycles for each wash load To dry so expect high bills. Refrigerator runs way too cold and hard to control. you will not relax Living here due to the neighbor noise. I have to keep the tv so loud to drown out the neighbors conversations and noise so I am sure it annoys the neighbors below and next to me. trash valet is convenient but for me the smell in the hallways with everyone's trash of dirty diapers and cat litter is so nauseting it should be a crime that they charge $50 each month for this disgusting service. there is a mandated monthly fee for parcel lockers but there is not enough space or the delivery companies do not use them so your packages are left out in the unsecured lobby. It is unconscionable to charge for a service they can't provide. its dog friendly yet the poop stations are often empty of bags and over flowing. For the $300 non refundable dog deposit and $50 fee you would expect better services. There is another review for this apartment with poor reviews but it is listed as closed? Seems sketchy

    I rented there 20 years ago and I moved back in in 2024. The management at the time was great…read more(Nichole, Steven) Now its changed hands and Nicole is gone. They are so hard to reach by phone, Athena and Noah, I send an email and still no reply!!! I am trying to reach Noah to explain my bill, as I see it, I have been paying 81.00/mo for cable when it is supposed to be included!!!! They will rip you off. I moved out April 2025 and I could not get out fast enough!!!! The base rent for a large 1BR was 1375.00 it is supposed to incl cable, water, elec and internet. Their monthly statements are so hard to read. Elec is shared by all 1BR units. For some reason I was paying almost 1700.00/month. So ridiculous for a RUN-DOWN property. All you pay for is the location, that is it. You have to tolerate the water being shut off weekly-for maintenance, loud tenants with the music and none of the 4 elevators working at the same time.

In the intervening time, the building has deteriorated from "aging yet decent" to marginally acceptable conditions. The first quarter of 2023 was shocking with the level of neglect of the building as a whole. -3 of 4 elevators inoperable -Swimming pool not cleaned in months (disgusting) -Staff that is indifferent to the misery of the tenants amidst unending complaints Turns out the Lynd Company was operating illegally after having its business license involuntarily terminated by the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) in April 2022! All this time they're signing leases, using (or should I say misusing) the courts to evict residents, keeping residents in the dark about their lack of legal status with the state of Virginia. Business as usual, as though everything is fine - only it's not. They get "reinstated" in April 2023, and like magic, everything begins working! Elevators repaired, swimming pool cleaned, staff suddenly responsive to repair requests. Prospective residents, you'd best move on while Lynd still owns the building. They're trying to sell the place amidst growing exposure of their misdeeds by current and prior tenants who are rightfully upset about the circumstances. If the multiple requests by residents to the SCC to investigate Lynd's behavior while involuntarily terminated materialize, their attempts at selling may be halted indefinitely. And you'll be stuck. P.S. The beach gets old after about 6 weeks.
