I closed on my home with Priority Title and Escrow on July 9, and the experience was deeply…read moredisappointing. At closing, they were responsible for sending payoff checks to my creditors. Instead, they mistakenly sent those payments to the seller -- a VERY odd mistake. While we had a landlord-tenant relationship, my personal financial obligations were none of his business. This was a clear breach of my privacy and extremely unprofessional. Because of their error, I had to pay out of pocket to overnight the payments myself to avoid late fees. When I asked for reimbursement, I was given weeks of runaround: three separate promises of a call back that never came, and a month later I finally received a short email denying responsibility. I was told that it was MY choice to overnight the payments however those checks were to pay my creditors IN FULL and I thought they had taken care of it; their due dates were fast approaching and late payments also can affect my credit so I had no choice but to overnight them! Home buying is stressful enough without this kind of negligence and lack of accountability. Instead of professionalism and resolution, I was left footing the bill for their mistake and dealing with the fallout of my private financial information being shared. I would strongly urge anyone considering Priority Title and Escrow to think twice and consider whether this is the level of care and accountability you're comfortable with.

I've closed on 12 homes in my life. I have never had a problem with the title company. The shorter…read morelist to post is what they did right. That would be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. THE title officer Suzanna should not have a job. She didn't return phone calls, she blamed me and said I only called one time. I told her I had the calls on my phone. Then she shut up and attempted to move on. She then screwed up the closing costs. Did not give us credit for the $10,000 earnest money, Suzanna then wrote the deal in our personal names, instead of the trust. Then said it was my fault because I did not send in the trust page for filing. I told her I had a copy of the sent email to her. She then dropped that complaint and miraculously found it. Then said she had not received the loan docs and that's why it took so long to get the closing statement. I laughed: and told her the closing statement showed CASH DEAL IN LARGE LETTERS. Then she blamed my agent for sending me the closing statement as it was preliminary. I told her preliminary or not. Way too many mistakes!! Again she blamed the agent!! Are you getting a sense of how this person Takes responsibility for mistakes??? It gets better. The closing statements and wire instructions showed up on Thursday late afternoon for a Monday morning closing. Had I not demanded the information I would not have received it with enough time to get the money wired and confirmed before closing. It gets better. We go to closing: an innocent woman was our closing person. A woman we had never met or talked to. She was very kind. Then she started handing out docs for signature. Can you believe they handed us recording documents showing the home would be titled in our personal names and NOT THE TRUST!!! Then she came out with the title in the trust name but misspelled my last name and name of the trust!!!! She then left for 15 minutes. Came back with the correct names and trust name. She told us she had just picked up the wrong document. She was gone too long to have not redone the document entirely. You will never convince me Suzanna had not screwed up again and this poor woman was taking the fall!!! Oh. There is more. Are you still with me? Next late afternoon after lighting a fire under them, we received the sellers packet with title signatures. I bet you know what happened the sellers agent and title company were given the document with wrong spellings!!!! I so wish I could curse for emphasis. I did then. I'm sure they would have recorded the deed in the wrong name had I not lost my mind. Suzanna said it was the other title companies fault for selecting the wrong document for signature. The sellers had to resign the corrected document. A title company is supposed to get things right!! That's what you pay for. At this point I don't trust the title to be clean. They screwed up everything else. And I mean everything. Do not let anyone point you in the direction of Priority Title. I'm not sure what takes priority at that company. They remind my of our Yorkie. An accident happens when he shits outside/ vs inside.

I want to reach out to acknowledge 2 of your staff, Chris Russell and Edwin Gallegos-Galvan. My…read morehusband and I first met Chris through a random Zillow search that connected us to Chris as we embarked on a property search for my daughter's first home purchase. We live in Yorktown, and were unfamiliar with realty companies and through that first encounter with Chris on Zillow-were happy to work with him when he reached out and made introduction and agreed to work with us. Chris worked tirelessly with us, and was extremely responsive, no matter what time or day of the week. Oftentimes we would locate potential properties but were unable to cross the HRBT to tour them and Chris by then knew what we were looking for and provided us video tours and insights on properties. Chris was always steady, encouraging and ready to lend professional guidance when we were not familiar with certain areas and amenities at the Beach. The initial process to get prequalified started in August of 2022. By the time Chris came on board and we started the search in earnest-we had already been looking on our own for several months. 10+ months later, and over 150 properties, 11 properties that we bid on and lost, FINALLY on June 18, 2024-Chris helped us to the finish line to close on a property in Pembroke Crossing Condominiums. During a point towards the end of the 10 months, Chris took a well deserved break and went on a European honeymoon with his wife. (We spent so much time with him, we feel like he is now family!)- In his absence, he asked Edwin to fill in for him. Luckily, or unluckily-depending on Edwin's perspective -- we hit a streak where we had a long list of properties to tour and several of them resulted in Edwin working up the contract offers for us. None of them panned out and we felt like it was not going to be in the cards that we would be able to find a property for her that checked all of the boxes and was within her budget. But- just when we thought it was never going to happen, a previous property that we had made an offer on came back on the market. Edwin was right there when we made the new offer, worked up the contract quickly and kept the pedal down the whole way to get the seller a quick sale due to her having a property in Florida contingent on the sale of the Va. Beach property. Edwin was responsive 24/7, friendly, focused and professional in his expert handling of the negotiation and offer paperwork. The best part for us was that Edwin was there when our daughter realized that she was going to get the house---her offer had been accepted --and the look on her face and his is something I hope I never forget. Chris arrived back from his honeymoon in time to handle the final details and be with us at the closing. Buying a home is a stressful undertaking especially in the challenging times we find ourselves in. Maybe that's why my husband and I are in the same home we purchased in 1986!. My daughter's first home buying experience was fraught with uncertainty and disappointment but not because of Chris or Edwin!-They listened to her and guided their search to try and accommodate her preapproved budget and desired areas/criteria. She is super happy and looking forward to moving in soon to her new home. I wanted you to know what superb guys Chris and Edwin are--- top notch, great at what they do- invested in putting in the time and effort to make sure their client is taken care of every step of the way. If there is a "review" tab somewhere on your website I am happy for this email to be shared there, so if someone else is looking for a realtor or their first home- they can see what our experience was with Lonnie Bush and Chris and Edwin specifically. I have recommended both of them to friends who are either already looking to buy/sell, or will be soon. I also highly recommend them for a raise and promotion! Really appreciate everything they did for us, and we know they will be nothing but successful in everything they do.
