I went to this salon for a color root touch up. The salon looked nice and my operator seemed…read moreknowledgeable. I ended up having 4 or 5 foils of lowlights (same color as the base color to ensure the base color would blend into my hair well on the top of my head.) I did not have a blow out or haircut. All seemed fine until I went to pay. With a tip my bill was over $300. I was so shocked!!!! I was standing there with wet hair being told that I was being charged that amount when I've never ever been charged more that $125 for the same services for any shop I've gone to in 30 years. The operator said it was because I had thick hair which would be true but never have I been charged more because of it; it was never discussed that the operator had dropped my bowl with the color on the floor and had to refill the color bowl. I politely paid my bill and left in total disbelief. Note... I did leave a message with the shop and after quite a delay the owner left me a message on my phone saying that she accidentally overcharged me by $60.00. Even if you reduced my bill by $60, the cost for services rendered was extremely high... I absolutely would never go back to this salon!!!!

I came in with ZERO layers with the shortest angles below my chin and left with uneven, haphazard, choppy layers throughout my hair and the shortest hair now falling to my lip even though I stated numerous times I did NOT want layers at all and don't want to go shorter. After she continued to cut, Sarah laughed at me and said "idk girl" and said she wouldn't charge me. Also, awful experience with the manager who reached out to me as well - wouldn't be surprised if she bullied me to take the review down after the unprofessional, mental gymnastics performance she displayed with me over the phone.

I never have had that before, but I get it, with this being a tourist area in the summer...and people can forget when on vacation. Just wanted the review to note that so you know. Sam aka Samantha :-) was my stylist. She was so nice and was very deliberate in her application of highlights. She asked me a lot of questions and listened before we started. The highlights turned out great and hid my gray salt and pepper and blended into my previous highlights. She gave me a great haircut too, perfect length taken off and nice layering. The salon was quaint and everyone was friendly. I recommend the salon and Sam my stylist.
