Our primary dentist recommended that our son get braces and referred us to Dr. Pai. Including our initial consultation, we've been to the office three times and we've been very pleased with everything so far. Just a few comments about the practice... 1. Dr. Pai has a very relaxed personality and takes the time to thoroughly discuss your options with you and your child. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy at all. 2. It's evident that Dr. Pai put a lot of thought into designing his office. Cable TV's in front of the dentist chairs helps the time pass quickly, iPad station for kids, cold water bottles and coffee in the waiting room, flat panel TV's in his office to show enlarged images of your teeth and mouth, and so on. 3. The thoughtfulness continues with the fact that he provides a very comprehensive "braces kit" that includes everything a kid needs to take care of his teeth. 4. He takes a wide variety of insurance and on a side note, the staff took time to call ours (Guardian) during our initial appointment to confirm how much would be covered. 4. He accepts a wide variety of payment types and is our only doctor that takes credit cards which is great for people like us who use credit card miles for vacations. 5. The practice is relatively new, so as of now, it's easy to book appointments. 6. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It's our first time dealing with braces and they answered a whole bunch of silly questions that we had with patience. 7. He runs a rather innovative rewards program that you can redeem points for gift cards. It's great to motivate kids to keep their braces in good shape. Choosing an orthodontist is a long term commitment, so you should do your own due diligence. I am EXTREMELY happy to have found Putnam Orthodontics! While searching for an Orthodontist a few years ago, for my son's phase 1 braces, I was so nervous. The minute I stepped through their door, I knew this was the one for us. Their office is beyond welcoming, staff members who go above and beyond, and Doctor's who actually care. My son had such a wonderful experience, that at 40 years old, I decided to get Invisalign with them. This is the only Doctor's office my kids LOVE to visit. That in itself is a great feeling for a parent, and speaks volumes for the office. Dr. Pai and Dr. Cohen are the absolute greatest, they get to know both the patient and their parents, on a first name basis, that says a lot. Their services are excellent, and they are so involved! That is extremely rare. The front staff members are always at your service, especially Connor and Elizabeth. They will go out of their way to answer any questions or concerns. The back staff assistants are so loving and patient, they really know how to serve their patients. My family has been with Dr. Pai and Dr. Cohen for many years. I have referred my family and many friends to their office because I am confident that they will be as impressed as I am. My 10 year old daughter's anxiety at the thought of braces was quickly put to ease with the kind, colorfully inviting and warm environment Putnam Orthodontics creates. She started to feel less intimidated once we walked through the door and she saw her name on a neon board welcoming her as a new patient. Dr. Pai and his very skilled team quickly engaged my daughter and oriented her about braces in a very kid friendly and non threatening manner. During Orientation my daughter was made the key focus by the team which was so important as she was incredibly nervous about braces.They really took the time to get to know her and make her feel comfortable. My 15-year-old daughter was the first to get braces among my 4 children. I learned of Dr. Pai's new practice a little over a year ago and was happy to take advantage of a free evaluation and estimate for her teeth. Dr. Pai spent time going through my daughter's X-ray evaluation and photos and explained the needed steps and timeframe for the work to be done. I was thrilled to learn that there was an affordable price structure in place to allow us to proceed with the work. He has a gorgeous office centrally located in Putnam County that makes it more like a spa appointment, not only for the patient, but for family and siblings as well! Office personnel are friendly and accommodating. All appointments are handled in a timely manner--no unnecessary waiting--which cannot be said of many doctors in my experience! I decided on Putnam Orthodontics after doing extensive research on Invisalign providers. Don't buy into the hype that all orthodontists or "trained" dentists can provide this service. Dr Pai is a specialist in this orthodontic procedure as well as the more conventional ones. I have just completed my treatment, and as one of his more "mature" patients (50+), I can say that Invisalign met all my expectations....Besides being invisible, they were non intrusive (I was able to speak without anyone being aware I was wearing them), painless, removable, results are quickly noticeable (instant gratification a big plus) and the final result was amazing. I could not have been happier..I only wish the procedure had been perfected earlier so I could have done it sooner ! Further, another Invisalign "plus" is infrequent office visits. We Love everyone at Putnam Orthodontics! Everyone here is always very accommodating and welcoming. I left another practice due to issues with a lack of realistic appointment times for kids in school and a working mother, as well as concerns with treatment. I am now able to get appointments at reasonable times and have no concerns with the care and treatment my children are receiving here. Dr. Pai and Dr Cohen are wonderful and explain things fully. This place is awesome! Dr. Pai and his staff are just so friendly and personable. Very hands on and professional. I was very nervous about my daughters first appointment. From start to finish the staff is more then pleasant and comfortable to work with and speak to. The office is well run and extremely clean. While working with my daughter who was nervous, Dr Pai and his staff took time to not only explain to her before hand what they were doing, but during each step of the procedure they would explained it again and why. They are understanding of the patient and the parent and make sure all involved understand everything. My daughter just completed her Orthodontic treatment and her teeth look beautiful. Throughout the entire process we were all treated with an exceptional amount of courtesy and respect. The staff here in Carmel 10512 are amazing. You walk in and it's not the typical sterile, cold office feel that you traditionally get. No, here you sit down and it's like being in your own living room. There is water in the refrigerator, coffee on the counter along with granola bars. The front desk staff learns your name and interacts with you on a warm yet still professional manner. Dr. Pai is a phenomenal board certified orthodontist ,, skilled in the work he does. He stands behind his product and will take the time to explain procedures, steps, supplies and any other question which might arise. I would recommend this office to anyone who asked. read more

Dr. Pai, a board-certified orthodontist, is one of the best in the 10512 area! He and his staff provided me with an excellent Invisalign experience. They were there to answer any questions I had along the way, and were always incredibly friendly at my appointments. Let's just say this place deserves more than a 5 star!!! They are all amazing! I've never felt so comfortable in a doctors office. Seriously didn't even question the amount I was paying because they were so flexible with my schedule & even flexible with my monthly payments. My daughter just got Damon braces from Dr. Pai. I actually visited 4 other orthodontists in the area before deciding on Putnam, and I'm happy with the choice. The office is clean and modern, the staff is friendly, and there's no wait for appointments. The Damon braces seem somewhat smaller than other braces I've seen, and I think it works better for my daughter's small face.
