Such a beautiful office. Very clean and organized. The staff is friendly and kind. I was taken into the back within, what felt like, 2 minutes of being there. I didn't even have time to finish the short questionnaire they gave me to fill out. Having lived in this area for over 15 years, I can also say that the Bridgham/Barr office has ALWAYS had a phenomenal reputation. Treatments go smoothly and in a timely fashion. Both of my children were patients of Dr. Bridgeham. I can't say enough about him and his staff! Kids love to go there because there are fun video consoles and arcade-like games. The office is clean, beautiful and stocked with Keurig coffee for the parents. (Always a plus!) Additionally, the office awards "Bridgeham Bucks" for things like punctuality and good brushing. Dr. Bridgeham is incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing rapport with his patients. My children both loved going to the office and speak very highly of the doctor and his staff. As a parent, everyone there made it so easy to get through the whole process as efficiently as possible. The doctor explained everything in plain language to all of us and Amy made sure our treatment plan was mapped out. The front desk staff always made sure we had all the appointments and information we needed. From the moment I arrived for an initial consult, the office staff and doctors were welcoming and encouraging. As a woman in her 60's, I wondered whether it would be worth it to go through having braces again, but I am SO glad I did. I felt so confident in the way Drs. Bridgham and Barr explained the process to me; Amy, the very personable office manager, was helpful in arranging a reasonable payment schedule; and the dental assistants were gentle and caring. There is such a good atmosphere in this office. Everyone is treated with respect, and people seem genuinely happy. I'm a 35 year old woman who now has braces (again) the staff at this office are friendly and helpful. Every time I walk in, they greet me by my first name making me feel welcome. The Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. Their office is clean and spacious. and they have coffee/tea in front if you want. I am a 66 year old woman who just finished my orthodontia with Drs. Bridgham and Barr. I can't say enough nice things about the doctors, all of the staff from the lovely individuals at the front desk to the hygienists who see you to adjust your braces. I never had to wait to be seen (they have a great selection of magazines that I never got a chance to read!); the office is large, clean, and efficient; the system of getting "points" each time you came in on time, totally worked- I was never late! The B+B swag is fun. Everyone I came in contact with was always professional and informative. I can't say enough nice things about this orthodontic practice. We knew that our youngest was going to need braces just like his older siblings and we always knew that the only practice we would take him to was Bridgham Barr Orthodontics. Our two older children had their orthodontic work done by Dr. Bridgham and we couldn't have been happier, not only with the end result, but with the entire process. And we have not been disappointed this time around. I know children who had their braces put on at a very young age. Many of them had their braces on for years or had problems later with crowding. Dr. Bridgham and Dr. Barr don't believe in rushing the process. They wait for a more mature dental age to start. I truly believe this is a sign of advance orthodontristry and professionalism. Our oldest child had extreme crowding due to size of his palate. Our dentist was concerned that our son would need tooth removal or surgeries to give room for adult teeth to drop before he could even start with braces Dr. Bridgham developed a new approach to palate expansion using 3 dimensional technology to determine the use of expander and braces over two separate periods of time. This method allowed for optimal expansion of my son's palate without the pain of multiple tooth extractions or surgeries. Our son was the first to receive this course of treatment from Dr. Bridgham and I now know other children who have since used this same plan with amazing results. Now our youngest son needs a somewhat specialized plan for his orthodontic care. He cannot have metal work in his mouth due to the need of periodic MRI imaging of his pituitary gland. We thought Invisalign would be his only option or he would have to wait a few years to get started. Invisalign is a great option for many people, but it would not be the most effective approach to our son's issues. Drs. Bridgham and Barr ensured us that they had this covered. We can't get around the metal of a palate expander but we were able to plan for its use around scheduled MRIs. In case of any emergency imaging, one of the doctors will be available for the expander's removal and reinsertion. Just knowing that they cared enough to set up a contingency plan made moving forward an easy decision. Our son just had ceramic braces placed this morning making MRI's simple and much less painful then having to remove a whole set of metal braces. Okay, I think it's obvious that we trust these orthodontists with our children's care and smiles, but I need to say a few things about their staff. They are amazing! From my very first phone call to this office years ago we have only experienced professional, friendly and caring interactions with every single employee in this office. The phones are answered, calls are returned. Scheduling appointments around a child's hectic schedule can sometimes be a nightmare. This office gets it done without any complaining. And if rescheduling needs to be done it gets done. Every part of the registration process is made easy at the first visit and then you can just breeze in and out of subsequent appointments. But you don't want to because everyone at that front desk is so pleasant. Amy? I don't think there are enough kind words to be said about this woman. She handles the financials with each family. Every step is explained thoroughly. You don't sign anything until Amy is sure that every question is answered. And you will smile the entire time you are in her office. And now onto the technicians. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly are just the first words that come to mind. All three of our children have had positive experiences with these staff members. Think about that. Sitting in a dental chair can be an anxiety provoking moment for anyone and yet, the kids never complained or balked when they were reminded about an appointment. Nothing happens without a full explanation of what is about occur, why it is occurring and what to expect. If a patient seems anxious, everything is done to assure them. Nobody is ever rushed into getting the job done. So many patients and families are seen and these professionals remember little things about each of them. You know that they care. Our son and daughter have beautiful smiles now and more importantly a healthy mouth and bite. I know I can expect the same for our youngest. I have recommended Drs. Bridgham and Barr to friends and family and will continue to do so. I think a positive experience is a great way to ensure dental compliance in children and you definitely receive that positivity in this practice. read more

It's beem 3 years since my last review and my oldest daughter has beautiful teeth and my younger daughter continues seeing him for a tongue thrust. She has been through extensive dental care with him and absolutely trusts Dr. Bridgham. He is kind and caring and has a gentle way with my daughters. I've had an amazing experience every time I've been to this office! The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and both Dr.'s really know what they are talking about. And to be honest, sometimes I wish I could just hang out there and play all the fun video games that they have in the waiting room. I've had pretty good overall success when it comes to having good dental care and the BBO team has been added to this list that I feel blessed with. I appreciate how with whatever's going on in my care and treatment planning they (from the Dr.'s to the assistants to the front) make sure to explain it! It was time for my 12 year old son to get braces. It wasn't even a question as where we would go, having already had my older daughter go through braces prior. I remember what a positive experience it was going to Bridgman Barr. They did an absolutely outstanding job with her teeth. They are literally picture perfect. My son on the other hand has always been a super reluctant patient at the dentist and has a higher than normal gag reflex. After visiting there he actually now looks forward to his visits. The staff is the nicest, most patient group of professionals I have ever seen. The office manager, Amy spent a great deal of time with us explaining all of our options and even spent time cautioning my son with how to better take care of his braces. It is obvious that she really cares about the patients and takes great pride in her job. We feel fortunate to have such a GREAT orthodontist so close bye. read more

My daughter is a patient of Drs Bridgham and Barr and they are both absolutely incredible. They are kind and patient, knowledgable and informative. The office is spacious and the treatment area is full of sunlight. It feels more like a spa than a doctor's office. Every visit is an absolute pleasure. Dr. Richard Bridgham straightened my teeth when I was in my mid-50s, then designed a bite guard orthotic that put pressure on my front teeth to the point of causing a crack in one tooth. When I went back to his office to get help I was traumatized and crying. He suggested I see a top endodontist, which I did, and who confirmed that my upper front teeth sustained damage. After a fruitless phone conversation with Bridgham (during which I tried to get him to take responsibility for the catastrophic bite guard design), he would not take responsibility and refused to let me come with my husband to his office to discuss how to proceed. As a result, I could no longer stand to wear the straightening devices, my teeth moved back to their original positions, and two of them are loose. Basically, I paid Dr. Bridgham for ruining my teeth. I am seriously impaired and will need one or more root canal and possible tooth replacement. I called several lawyers about suing Bridgham but they said, essentially, that I would need to lose all of my teeth for a jury to rule in my favor. read more

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Richard Bridgham for 20 years. Both my son and I have had orthodontic work performed by Dr. Bridgham. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. It should be noted that my husband and I are health care professionals and researched who our family should use, as it was elective to pursue this care, and not emergent nor mandatory. Dr. Bridgham's office is scrupulously clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way for each and every patient. We are traditionally fit in for appointments without any problems, they invariably run on time. When my son and I first started care with Dr. Bridgham, everything was clearly explained about every facet of our care, orthodontically and financially. Any questions we had were explained to our satisfaction and full understanding. As time went by and future questions and issues arose, they were dealt with expeditiously and in toto. I had a permanent retainer with no problems. When I suffered trauma to the face, the retainer protected me from having injury to my teeth. Over the past 15 years, I have used a retainer at night. It is comfortable and I have not had any problems with it. Dr. Bridgham is meticulous in fitting appliances, to ensure the best possible outcome. When my son moved hundreds of miles from home, rather than get a new orthodontist, he returns home to Dr. Bridgham for care. In conclusion, I have given Dr. Bridgham the highest rating possible and can recommend him and his practice without reservation. read more
