They don't follow up with what they say they will do for you...do they really think we wont notice?? A bank located inside a Stop and Shop. Actually just a counter with a couple of tellers. Not a bad…read moreidea because it makes things convenient but this particular counter is located right behind the registers where people are trying to get out. It gets extremely crowded at times and with the people trying to get out of the store and others trying to get to the bank tellers it can get totally chaotic. This is probably the worse place in the whole store to put the bank. Part of the problem is that people finish their shopping and try to negotiate a heavy carriage of groceries into the bank lines. Not a good idea. I don't know how many times I have had a foot run over by some idiot trying to push a carriage into a small roped off line. Plus the courtesy is right next to the bank and again behind the registers, so you literally have to fight you way through little kids running around and old ladies just standing in the way with blank looks on their faces to get into a bank line. The actually bank tellers have always been polite and quick if not particular friendly. How could they be with all this chaos going on around them. Even though at quiet times this bank location can be convenient I usually prefer to go to one of the other branches. The screaming kids and vacuous old ladies are just too much for me.

From mystery fees, to terrible automated customer service calls when I have an issue, I always hate using Bank of America beyond the ATM. I frequent the Cranston location as the staff here are always wonderful. Megan, the branch manager, is always pleasant and extremely helpful whenever I have special needs. I went in with my boyfriend to fill out an application for a secured credit card and she personally walked us through the process step by step. She even followed up with a couple of calls to give me status reports as she got notifications of approval. The tellers there are always sweet and smiling, chatting with me about different things. The tellers make a personal connection with me every time my boyfriend and I come in. They even give my dog treats in the drive-thru when she is with me on my errands. I highly recommend Coastway to anyone looking for a more personal banking experience. Here you always feel like a person and not another account number. I look forward to moving more of my primary banking services over to Coastway.
