Very professional and work was great. Job site was cleaned up before they left. Would certainly recommend.

Scott said no problem, luckily the color I needed was in stock at the warehouse and he left to retrieve.

I also have been struggling with the toilet tank "guts" thanks to Martinsburg's hard water. I'd bought a new faucet and parts for the toilet, but after watching YT and assessing my space and my own abilities...chose to hire someone. Mark of Mountain View Plumbing gave me a quote based on labor/time for each of these. He's the owner/operator...something I like to support when I can. We scheduled for 9am, he called as he was arriving EARLY! Two hours and both problems fixed with parts I had bought to do it myself. He even fixed my tub/shower diverter stem I was starting to have issues with. We discussed a few hacks to get some more life out of the toilet as hard water is doing what it does. I then asked about my kitchen sink/drain and he verified that I can get RO and a disposal into that space. Now I just need to budget! As for his hourly rate, it is totally fine for skilled and licensed labor. He didn't nickel and dime for the little things he used (tape, etc). I appreciate that. I also know as a former business owner, he's covering travel costs, insurances, taxes, etc. with that rate. I will be using him for more projects as my own budget permits.

The two guys (one was called Jay) worked their butts off with a snake and unblocked the drain (which has been problematic for years, by the way). They did an incredible job and I was extremely pleased with their work. About 12 months later (November 2024) I called the company again because I noticed the drain was getting blocked again. The guy they sent this time (Brian) snaked for less than 10 minutes, and spend more than an hour explaining how the drain is broken and they need to do a full replacement, a job of more than $2,500 to set up new drains in our house. He talked to my husband on the phone for a while explaining what he wants to do and recommending several options that were clearly problematic. In the end, they served us a bill of almost $450 leaving me with a pipe that still does not drain and the promise to do an estimate for what they explained would cost well above $3,000 -- which I don't have and which I had made perfectly clear to begin with. I am sure there may be honest, hardworking people at this company, and I don't want to hurt anyone who is trying to work hard and make an honest living. My last experience, however, was awful and leaves us strapped for cash, with a blocked drain and no reasonable solution, a week before Thanksgiving. I would not wish this on anyone else.

They arrived early (which was great) and proceeded to work. Cole fought the problem for quite a while, all the time taking great pains to protect the surroundings from any damage, until he was finally successful at getting the valve to let go. A slightly damaged escutcheon plate was replaced at no charge, and the repair was completed perfectly - all at a price that was most reasonable. I can't say enough good things, and will definitely use PVP again when needed.

***AVOID THIS COMPANY - THEY HAVE AN AVERAGE RATING ON GOOGLE FOR A REASON!***…read more This company and their service tech Cole are dishonest and caused extensive damage to our home from what should have been a simple toilet installation. We purchased raised toilets from Lowes, and they contracted the installation with Pleasant Valley Plumbing (PVP). During installation, Cole informed us that we needed a "new" supply line for one of the two toilets we purchased and charged us $40 on the spot. The seal within the supply line ended up cracking, and by day two we had water leaking from our ceiling below the toilet. What's more, we found out from viewing pricing at Lowes, and two other independent contractors that supply lines cost no more than $7-10. Even a supply line for a washer/dryer is only $30. I don't know why only one supply line needed to be replaced, but that turned out to be a blessing because we could have suffered two leaking toilets. When he came back to service the toilet, he told us that the crack in the supply line was a "manufacturer defect". When Lowes reached out to PVP/Cole to find out what happened, he lied and told them that he "couldn't confirm if the leak/water damage was there before he installed the toilet". If the leak was due to no error of your own, you have insurance to cover these types of things...there should be no issue. He lied to cover the fact that it is more likely than not that the supply line he used was not new. Further, we also have hard wood flooring damage due to the leak causing our floors to warp. We are now going through the claims process with Lowes and reaching out to contractors to fix the damages that PVP caused due to their incompetence. All of this headache for simply trying to make our home more handicap accessible. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
