No idea what that means. and ultimately all she was only able to give me was a 20% military discount which was FIVE DOLLARS off when I was expecting both services to be 50% off. My appointment was with Kai. Kai was very knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally she presented professionalism way beyond her years. Bikini wax was good, I even allowed her to wax my butt. That was new experience, yet so needed. Won't skip on that upkeep anymore. The process for making an appointment was easy. Kai was good about cleaning the table between my body wax to my facial wax. I will be back. They have a membership program but haven't signed up yet. I wanted to make sure that I don't have any negative responses from the wax. I was offered water and quickly completed the necessary form. The waxing specialist was nice. She had an outstanding personality that made me really comfortable which is great since it's a fairly intimate service (depending on what you're there for). The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't rate a full 5 stars is because I did discover a few spots hair was left when I got home. When paying the higher costs for the service, I wouldn't expect to find any missed patches and there were a few. Overall, I'd give them another try due to the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. If I walk away again with missed patches, at that point I'll explore other options for waxes but I'm optimistic that next go around will be better.

I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.
