I was blown away at the selection and some great buys from some of my favorites designers. I give that piece a 5/5 However while walking through the store we were only greeted once and the rest of the time the staff spent peeping around the corner and finding things close to us to fold. We came in with no bags or anything just two small purses. Even as i was taking things off the rack to look at it, the staff was glaring their eyes at me. I had made note of some items i wanted to tell my stylist about but i ultimately left the store empty handed and feeling uncomfortable because of the experience. I saw a number of things in their that I would love to buy but knowing the designer and item I will be purchasing elsewhere

HEADS UP: Me and my…read moredarn love of playing on words has finally bit me in the butt. I've submitted for a name change to Yelp and I'm waiting for the correct spelling to be posted. It should be spelled Accessory vs. Assessory. It is a portmanteau that I have in my iPhone and I did not realize that it autocorrected to that name. Whoops! LOL! NOW ON THE REVIEW: I love this shop! I am so glad I ended up in Deep Ellum randomly yesterday afternoon. My supervisor told me about Accessory Junkie and has shown me their Instagram several times. I don't think I was ready for the boutique experience I had. Accessory Junkie is small with only one changing room, but the fashion (S,M,L), jewelry, sunglasses, purses, and etc, are not for those do not want to be seen. Everything is tasteful, bold, and very urban chic. You will definitely feel like you are wearing the latest that will set you apart from the rest because the items are hip but are full of flavor. It is like a hipster and a hip-hopper had a baby and it came out as this store WITHOUT THE PRETENSION. And that I think is the greatest selling point. You will have a great time in there shopping and getting to know the other ladies. I was offered a glass of wine and was able to really take my time and shop while swaying to the music and enjoying the feel of the get it while you can because as soon as they post a new item on Instagram, women head to the store immediately. I seriously can't wait to go back shopping. And although I messed up their name on accident, I'm sure they will still be sweet as ever, still pour me a glass of wine, and I will happily give them all my money as long as they keep bringing in such cute items.

I was on my way up to Plano yesterday for a happy hour at Ringo's and I hated what I was wearing. I needed a new shirt ASAP and I only had 10 minutes to find one. A girlfriend recommended Melanie Gayle and I went in with the real expectation that I just may not find something I like. I was wrong! Way wrong! The two girls working were entirely too sweet and super duper helpful. I told them of my dilemma, and they started pulling shirts left and right and throwing them into the cute changing room. I tried on about 8 different shirts - and I'm not even kidding - I wanted to buy all 8 of them. I've *never* found stuff like this in other boutiques! They carried dresses, pants, skirts, party tops and all kinds of other things. I think I spotted accessories somewhere, but I was in such a rush I didn't really take time to notice them. And the best part? I got 15% off if I spent less than $100, and 20% if I spent $100 plus. Now I'm no mathematician and I *know* that's just a marketing ploy to get you to spend more, but it just so happened that I couldn't decide between two shirts so I bought them both. So I got my 20%. I promptly changed into the new shirt while one of the girls rang me up - all I did was run up and sign the receipt and everything was already wrapped up nicely to go, including my old shirt. Thank goodness there's another location in Snider Plaza that I'll be visiting frequently, because I would so be going to Plano more often for Melanie Gayle.
