I'm a proud mom of a sponsored Under Armour Professional Track & Field athlete. This past week we…read moredecided to visit Baltimore for the holidays. During our visit my son gave us a private tour of the new UA Global Headquarters near the Baltimore harbor. We started the tour at the visitors center and received some historical information about Under Armour, it's origin and founder. There were plaques and memorabilia of legendary athletes and celebrities that are sponsored by the brand. We then toured the performance center which includes strength and conditioning training, classes and equipment. The is an infrared sauna and recovery room which was designed with all athletes in mind. The design center was closed for visitors but Ben a generous E-Commerce employee took the time out to give us a personal tour of the indoor basketball facility, dining area, design studio, sample room, focus group area and what's next for Under Armour. I was so impressed with his knowledge and willingness to share the new releases for Black Friday. Which is going to be HUGE savings. There is so much science behind the brand with families and athletes in mind. We drove a few minutes off campus to view the new track & field stadium that will also be used for soccer and football. The track was bright red with hints of gray throughout. I can't wait to see my son race on this track in the future. It's scheduled to be completed in 2023.

The complex is very picturesque and can be distracting to workout if you are a UA fan. So, I suggest you get all your pictures out of the way before you workout. There is a few parking spots in front of the center, but most of them are marked as reserved. The Center does have one stipulation for working out here. You must wear Under Armour gear. That was not hard for me though, because that I what I mostly wear anyway. Even if you don't want to or can't work out, just visiting the campus is impressive. It is a great location, right off of the Patapsco River and across from the wold famous Inner Harbor

Never the less, I stoped in to ask about it and was told I could take a free class with no commitment to see if it was right for me. I enjoyed myself so much that I initially bought a 5 class pack, and then a couple classes later, joined as a full member. If you have been to a spin class before, you might know what to expect. The room is relatively dark but has colored light the the instructor controls, the music is loud, and everyone rides as a group. Again, wasn't sure I would like it. I hate going to clubs, I generally don't like loud music or dancing... but something about the combination really works. There are a lot of instructors and ever one is slightly different, so you do get some variety from class to class. The instructors are very friendly, and all of the other patrons have been similarly kind and encouraging. Beyond just being a good spin gym, this place is very well run. The owner (Jen) is very friendly and responsive. I have never had a gym respond the same day to emails and phone calls. She runs it super professionally and cares a lot that her customers have a good experience. This may sound trivial, but if you have ever had to pause a membership due to an illness/injury or correct a billing issue, you know what I'm talking about. I can't speak highly enough of these guys and often bring friends to take a free class. If you live in the neighborhood definitely come check it out. If you see a chubby bearded guy at a 6:15am class, come say hi to me :p

Each class can accommodation around 27 or so people. We work out in circuits, which are demonstrated by the coach at the beginning of class. We're encouraged to get familiar with our pod-mates but so far no one has been particularly friendly and I am ok with that, lol. As this facility is brand new, it's super clean. All the coaches are very nice and give good feedback during class. There's nowhere in the lobby to sit and collect yourself before and after class, but apparently furniture has been ordered. Anyway, looking forward to taking more classes, meeting challenges, and getting my body snatched.

I have been trying to cancel my and my husbands membership since May (over 2 months) we have spoken to several different people and I have sent several emails and I have yet to receive a cancellation form. I was charged again this month even though I was told that they would honor my original cancellation date. Each time I email or call I keep getting the same response "we will send you the cancellation form," and I never receive it. I called on Saturday and the lady I spoke with told me she would follow up with the manager. Today is Wednesday and I have still not received a response from anyone, no returns calls, no explanations as to why I have not received the cancellation form, no apologies...nothing. Literally insane!

It was an extra special weekend with watching the Blue Angels practicing in the area and sky. I want to work out here soon and attend studio practices. It can be pretty difficult to snag a spot but when you do, Marcie provides a great class. The studio is small yet beautiful and peaceful. They also just added a mat pilates class on Sundays at 1pm, led by Marcie as well. I've only taken it once and I enjoyed it. It's not as challenging of a class as the heated power yoga but I still liked it. I could even see myself taking the heated power yoga and the pilates back to back if my schedule permits. They recently rearranged the weight lifting area so there's a more spacious stretching area and the turf area is reserved for more turf-centric activities. I can't wait until the pool opens later this year! It's definitely worth the $111 monthly fee, which is more expensive than other gyms in the area but you get a ton of access to great instructors and amenities.

My review is specifically for the Pikesville, Maryland location…read more One of the main reasons I chose FX Physical Therapy was because of its one-on-one treatment model. I specifically sought out individualized care rather than a larger clinic where therapists are treating multiple patients at the same time. Given the complexity of my condition, I believed the one-on-one approach would provide the focused attention and clinical expertise necessary to address my concerns. I have been a patient at FX Physical Therapy on and off for over a year and a half. My condition is complex and involves issues with my cervical spine, lumbar spine, legs, feet, balance, gait, and what I believe may be a leg-length discrepancy. From the very beginning, I made the clinic aware of the complexity of my condition and the concerns I was experiencing. Throughout my treatment, I repeatedly raised concerns about changes in my gait, balance, foot positioning, worsening symptoms, and my overall lack of progress. These concerns were not only discussed during appointments, but I also communicated many of them through email so there would be documentation of what I was experiencing throughout the course of my treatment. I understand that I was not always consistent with attending therapy sessions. However, part of the reason for that inconsistency was that there were times when I felt worse after performing certain exercises or following certain treatment recommendations. As a result, I often questioned whether the treatment approach was helping my condition and sometimes needed to step back because of how I was feeling physically. I also frequently felt rushed during my appointments. Because I typically attended therapy sessions after work in the evening, I often felt that there was limited time to fully discuss my concerns. There were many occasions when I felt that documentation and watching the clock took priority over thoroughly evaluating the issues I was reporting. I often left appointments feeling unheard and without the individualized attention that I expected from a one-on-one treatment environment. I understand that every physical therapist needs experience, and I have nothing personal against my therapist. However, I only learned two days ago that he has approximately two years of experience. Given the complexity of my condition, I believe I should have been matched with a more experienced physical therapist much earlier in the process rather than spending more than over a year attempting to manage a case that may have required a higher level of expertise from the start. What has been most disappointing is that after more than a year of treatment, I was informed that my case may be beyond my therapist's level of experience. During our most recent discussion on June 4, 2026, he indicated that he would reach out to a more experienced physical therapist within the FX organization at the Timonium, Maryland location to determine whether that therapist would be willing to take over my care. As of the date of this review, I have not received any response and do not know whether my case will be accepted. I cannot help but wonder why this determination was not made much earlier. Had I been evaluated and matched with a therapist whose experience aligned with the complexity of my condition from the beginning, my treatment journey may have looked very different. I sought treatment at FX because I wanted expert one-on-one care for a complex condition. Instead, after more than a year of treatment, I am left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and uncertain about where to turn next for the level of care that I need. This review reflects my personal experience at the Pikesville location. Others may have different experiences, but this was mine.
