The 5 ton capacity unit was too heavy and big to try to muscle it up on the roof. I found Parks Crane on Yelp and called them at 8pm. The phone was answered and they said they could be out in the afternoon the next day. Parks Crane office personnel called me the next day to tell me the crane was on it's way. My AC guy timed the arrival beautifully and Parks Crane arrived on time, in fact, a bit early. The old unit was off the roof and the new one up in no time. Very safe, efficient and worth every penny. Thanks Parks Crane, you guys do a great job and as a homeowner and first-timer ever hiring a crane, you made it very easy.

Very disappointing experience. Poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and unprofessional…read moreservice. I hired this crane company to lift a single 15-ton HVAC unit to the first floor. I was initially quoted $1,000, but when we arrived at the job site, the price suddenly became $1,350. What was even more concerning was the lack of technical coordination. Nobody in the office could clearly confirm whether a spreader bar was required to properly distribute the load. The driver also seemed unsure. For a crane company handling heavy HVAC equipment, these are basic details that should be confirmed before arriving at the job site--not figured out in front of the customer. The driver's attitude made the situation even worse. Instead of professionally addressing the issue, he was rude, confrontational, and seemed more interested in arguing with the customer than completing the job. It appears that the company has grown quickly, but its communication, technical knowledge, and field operations have not kept up with that growth. For a crane company, reliable communication, accurate pricing, proper rigging knowledge, and professional behavior are not optional--they are the foundation of the service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. Honestly, even one star feels generous.

I needed a crane to place a spa in my backyard, to move it 125 feet from a narrow street and over a two story house. I called 9 different spa companies until I found Benson -- the only one with the equipment that could do it. He has a large crane but with a base small enough to fit on my street. His price also was reasonable - which I really appreciated as I am sure he could tell how desperate I was as I had already paid for the spa and so he could have asked for more. He was very professional throughout the whole process. In fact, during the installation there was a complication that was not his fault but, still, he stepped up to be sure I was happy. I highly recommend him if you need crane work.
