For planting 2 mature palm trees in our newly landscaped yard, we hired Purple Crane for the service. Jr, the business owner came with their latest amazing crane and hauled the trees from the flatbed truck to their locations; one in the front and one in the backyard (90' from the street). Jr arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional and helpful in moving and planting the trees. Also, he was very patient as we were not experienced in this task. We accidentally bought a giant spherical planter that couldn't fit through any of the doors that lead to our back courtyard (!) and reached out to Purple Crane and several other local businesses for help. Unlike some of the other companies I contacted, JR worked with us on price and schedule and was friendly, professional, patient, and easy to deal with. His crane operator came on time and was a true pro, threading through an intricate set of overhead electrical and telecom wires and gently placing a 400-lb 36-in diameter concrete wrecking ball in our backyard like it was a Faberge egg. Props to driver/crane operator Nick for doing a great job at a property for an HVAC job. The driveway was already narrow, so there was the concern of accidentally hitting the house while moving in the truck, but Nick was patient and got it in no problem. When it came time to take out the old package unit from the roof and bring up the new one, Nick also handled that with ease, controlling the unit carefully without excessive movement and preventing damage to the house! I did not hire this company directly as they were subcontracted by the HVAC company that I'm working with, but they did a great job! Hats off to Nick and thank you Purple Crane Services! read more

We used Purple Crane today to lift a spa over the house. Keith and his operator felt comfortable before even starting the job that there would be no issues. Keith came out last week and explained the entire process to us putting our mind at ease, as much as it can be having a 2000 lb. spa craned over your house! We asked a lot of questions. I would not recommend these guys. Unprepared for the job they were hired for. They were given all the correct weights prior to scheduling,provided photos of what they would be lifting. Showed up to do the lift,took one look at the silo and said nope not doing it,and drove off. #screwjob read more

James saved the day! We were having a very difficult time removing a Sub-Zero from a second story balcony. The two appliance servicemen had given up. One of them called their office and said, 'this isn't going to happen!' You can imagine the concern. What were we supposed to do now? My experience with this company was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They are not worth the money or time. I spoke with a guy named Keith who was ridiculously incompetent and has no customer service skills. He was a complete jerk and should not be allowed to deal with the customers by himself. I strongly advise you to not use this company for any type of occasion. They cause a huge hassle and headache that I could gladly live without. read more

After speaking with Keith and explaining my project to him he became rude and hung up on me I had no problem paying the price he quoted me which was $830 of which is therefore our minimum I don't know if this guy woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what happened but I would definitely not use this company they do not care about their customers all they care about is getting as much money from somebody as they possibly, you can check out theCrane guys" they are a lot nicer to deal with and more affordable.. this is also after I have already use their service about a month ago and I am a return customer I was really shocked on how he treats return customers please use caution when dealing with this company most professional businesses don't disrespect their customers and hang up the phone on them, I was asking a few questions him he became irate and extremely irritated, I think maybe he needs to take his medicine or go see a doctor maybe his stress level is through the roof, but that is no reason to take it out on a customer. again super expensive not worth the price extremely rude, and disrespectful, and will be telling my future business partners to use somebody else..I am a good customer and have many future jobs that these guys are not going to be doing the work on, way to go Keith keep running the business the way that you do, i'm sure if your boss knew about the way you treated customers you would be fired on the spot. read more

Used Purple Crane to lift a Swim Spa into my backyard. These guys were great, Keith answered all my questions and concerns after seeing a failed delivery on YouTube because the reach was not long enough. I called a lot of companies and got incredible differences in prices and unanswered "what if" questions and some basically saying, "that's on you" responses. Purple Crane actually took the time to come to my home to make sure that the reach would be long enough and we would not encounter any problems. Keith quickly put my mind at ease and the delivery was smooth and easy. Keith and Shawn, the crane operator were very professional and helpful.
