Recently was having issues with the starter on our Toyota forklift. I contacted Richard from Lift Max, who suggested a few tips on what could possibly be the issue. I took his advice, and that seemed to work, temporally. In the end, the starter was bad and needed to be replaced. I made an appointment with Lift Max, and one of their technicians came out to repair our forklift. He went above, and beyond what I was expecting the job to consist of. Not only did he replace the starter, but he cleaned out the engine compartment, as well as regreased everything on the front end of the forklift. The Best customer service i have experienced in a long time. I was in need of a lift to paint our 2 story building on Western and Melrose and call a few places to get pricing. When i called Lift Max and spoke to the owner who answered the phone Richard we joked about that not being a name i would forget since it was mine as well. Richard said he could get me scissor lift that i was needing and could have it delivered the next day in the late afternoon so i could start work the following morning at 7am. He kept is work at 4:30 he was here right on time as promised and my charges would start the following day. The next morning at 8am my painter started using the lift but we discovered the sidewalk was not level enough for the lift to go as high as we needed it to. I called Richard and explained the situation and he agreed that if it was not level for safety reasons the lift would not go up as high as we needed. To my surprise Richard went one better he offered to come pick up the lift the following day and only charge me for delivery and not a full day rental, he also gave me a number for another company that offered booms which would work better for me. Cost me way more but i didn't have a choice if i wanted to get the building painted. The following day Richard came out as promised at the exact time promised. But here is were he total caught me by surprise, He apologized that it didn't workout and offered to refund my entire payment even the delivery fee which i was not expecting. Lift Max is the only place I will rent equipment from!! Jobs are unpredictable. Days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months and it's easy to ring up a ridiculous tab. But Richard has bailed us out multiple times by giving us good rates and above excellent customer service. We had a job where he had to come back multiple times to move the dropped off equipment because of our blunder and he handled it all with an awesome attitude.
