A WHOPPING 2 POUND+ TACO SALAD $7.75. It's a basic version but good price/value.
Charles H.

AFTER THE FLAG WAS LOWERED ON PANCHO'S in the 1980s, this mallish store-front was one of only three or four Tex Mex joints in the city for 20 years. THEIR TACO SALAD IS THE CRAWFISH MONICA of Place St Charles's Food Court. It's simple, they do it well, and was the first of it's kind in New Orleans ("what's dat ya eatin' dere?"). But it's always been a great price value too: over 2 LBS of quality fast-food for just $7.75.

Really nice food at reasonable pricing. I had the taco salad with mesquite chicken. Would definitely go back.

The food was delicious. Only complaint is that I waited a long time for it. Def recommend if you work in CBD.

The food was excellent, the service impeccable and many laughs! Russell took care of us, made some great recommendations for both food and drinks. They have great happy hours specials here and the food is really good. If you are close by, come by, enjoy the ambiance, have some great food and drink.

I'm on a mission to eat at restaurants founded by all the judges and this was my second after Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips in NYC. There was so much on the menu that I wanted to order (here's looking at you - short rib birria), but I figure that I can always come back on a return trip and stuck to more traditional Mexican fare. My friends and I shared an order of the chips, salsa, and guacamole of which all three were heavenly. Don't even get me started on those fried plantain chips. I could munch on those for days. For my main course, I ordered a carne asada plate and had to have a Mexican Coke to accompany it all. There was no room for dessert, as much as I know it would have been delicious. I loved the decor and the big mural on the wall, too. Our server was wonderful and patient with us (maybe more with me due to my excitement). I'll definitely need to get back when I can enjoy a margarita while I'm at it.

The complimentary salsa was tasty, and my margarita was delicious, though I would've liked it a little stronger. My mom ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were flavorful, fresh, and actually well seasoned, which was refreshing compared to other bland fajitas I've had lately. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were absolutely amazing. The pricing felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. Our server, Linda, was wonderful, and the entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. I also loved that some of the staff spoke Spanish, so I got to practice a little. Overall, such a fun experience, and I can't wait to come back.
