I'm sad this place is closed. This was one of my go to spots for a snack when I went to the Rozzie…read moreSquare Theater for improv/comedy. It makes sense if they are renovating the whole building. They have both bubble tea and frozen yogurt with plenty of topping choices. My favorite flavors are the mango, pineapple, and coconut. I love the fresh fruit and popping boba and mochi for the toppings. As with many froyo spots they charge by weight so depending on how much you loaded up would be the cost. I believe they also had 2 different size containers. In the past I remember my total being between $10-$15 so it can definitely add up! The owners also seem nice I think they tried offering a free milk tea that was made as a test for me and my friends that were hanging out in the space. Hopefully once the space is done with renovation they will be back.

Sadly closing soon as per signage. Went in after celebrating Holi Mela. The shop is located at…read moreprime location, right in the hub of Roslindale. Self service - you grab a plastic glove and cup, walk to the end of the shop, and start pulling down the handles to dispense yogurt. Some sample flavors are mango, vanilla , cookie and cream, and chocolate (want a mix of vanilla and chocolate? Then use the middle handle between vanilla and chocolate). After you're done with yogurt, move on to toppings (boba, candies, etc). Remember! It's weigh and pay system. My small portion came out to be exactly $6. Huge place but it's dark. Restroom in the back.

The owner Kevin is there a lot of the time and he's super knowledgeable about movie options. First, the cafe aspect. Excellent coffees and homemade tea blends. They also offer monthly specials (on the chalkboard outside) that are often really tasty. Kevin is also a great baker and makes all their treats from scratch onsite. The cheddar jalapeño scone is our favorite but everything we've ordered is consistently good and there's a variety every time we visit. Next, the movie rental aspect. Basically it's your friendly neighborhood Netflix back when Netflix was mailing DVDs to people. $20/month for unlimited rentals, no more than 2 out at a time, and Kevin is quick to buy new movies as soon as they're available. They also have a mini private theater you can rent out for events like birthdays or to watch events like the Oscar's or Super Bowl. I haven't used that yet but it's cool to know it's there. Great neighborhood staple and one of those little businesses that makes you feel glad to live in a city. Strongly recommend!

Not only is the coffee delicious, but it's so reasonably priced, which is such a rarity these days. They also have a microcinema where they hold screening events. Super happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood!

Unfortunately, haggis isn't available every day, so when we visited on a Sunday evening, it was not on the menu. That was definitely disappointing to find out. Instead, we ordered the Scotch egg, sliders, and the deep-fried Mars bar. The Scotch egg was good, but at $13 for a single egg, it felt a bit overpriced. It came with a small side salad, though I think serving two eggs instead would have made it a better value. The sliders were a pleasant surprise. The beef was clearly high quality, and they were the perfect size if you want to enjoy a great burger without committing to a full one. To finish, we shared the deep-fried Mars bar, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a rich dessert, so it's perfect for sharing between two people. I personally would have preferred it with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream, but it was still a great way to end the meal. Overall, I'd love to come back and finally try the haggis, but based on this visit, I'd definitely recommend the sliders and the deep-fried Mars bar.

There aren't really any classic ice cream places in Fenway, they are all "unconventional" (vegan,…read morefruit style, matcha ice cream) in some way, and this is one of them. If you want an ice cream treat with a unique twist, this can be a solid option. The staff here is super friendly and it's objectively a cool concept, but honestly it didn't appeal to ME (subjective). I am a classic ice cream enthusiast through and through. They do New Zealand style fruit twist ice cream, where you pick a flavor and blend in a fruit of your choice. I chose chocolate ice cream as my base and blended in raspberry. I expected a rich, dark chocolate raspberry flavor (think chocolate bar), but I was pretty disappointed. The ice cream itself had such a light flavor, I barely felt the chocolate. The fruit was prevalent, but my gf got hers with strawberry and I couldn't taste much of a difference. Additionally, I mixed in graham cracker and added chocolate sauce. The graham cracker was blended so thin like sand, I couldn't taste it at all. What a disappointment, and they charged extra for it. I paid $20 for two small ice cream cups :/
