Damsel was very professional and warm and friendly. Hard to be at the end of the day with your last client, so that in itself won me over. She also took time to talk to me about my skin and why I could be having issues. She made some recommendations and gave me a small sample of a face cleanser that she makes herself. She did this without pushing products on me, which is so appreciated. I'm definitely looking forward to prettier, healthier skin!

I love her energy, attention to detail and the care she puts into her product development, ambiance and services. Today was my first time purchasing her eyebrow service and I fell in love. Not only does Donna hook you up proper with her clippers (instead of the usual waxing, threading or tweezing you get at the nail shop or other sub-par establishments that claim to do eyebrows), she added a little extra oomph by filling in the brows and adding complimentary basic make-up. Her 20+ years of make-up artistry makes her extremely knowledgable about what she does and her body, facial and bath products smell heavenly. We purchased her cocoa mango and cocoa rose hand-cut soaps and we can't wait to try them. I'm looking forward to getting a facial done soon! Thanks Donna!

I stopped getting my brow done in florida all together because they made them too thin and arched! I would hold off for months just to go to sara when I was in town. After I moved here I went in for a facial I was dry and black headed from the switch in weather and air quality (It hurt like heck but after a day my face looked like porcelain) I also keep to myself at salons. But she remembers who I am and entertains me with her fascinating stories and brutal advice. Its been two years and she pointed out that my 'mustache' needed to be done. It was a hard but realistic truth. In FL the constant exposure to the sun kept those pesky hairs BLONDE now they are black and she has an eye for it.. and certainly won't let her girls walk out of the salon looking a mess. ** I just wanted to add-- Theres this liquid gold there, I forget the name but it looks like a mac concealer, you put it on pimples when they are forming or enormous and it totally gets rid of them. Its come in handy!

Perfect name for this place as Doris certainly knows her wax!…read moreThis was my first debushery visit since having my now 7 month old so boy was I nervous. But after snagging an amazing deal on lifebooker loot, I figured would give the Waxpertz a try. GREAT experience! Now I don't know about anyone else but I am never THAT comfortable with a stranger milling around down there, no matter how many times I've done it. But Doris had me at ease, so much that we chatted through most of the process (which I generally don't do or enjoy) but she was very easygoing and not OVERLY chatty or aggressive. Excellent bedside manner! And again, she knows her wax! The whole wax was almost pain free. Doris knew what to do it certain areas and was thorough! I have had quite a few brazilians in my day and gone to some the well knowns from J Sisters, and Bliss to Completely Bare. Honestly it's hard to say I have had an amazing experience at any of them considering what is going down... It's a delicate situation.... Waxpertz was a pretty great experience! I knew I was in the hands of a pro who was not just interested in getting as many people in and out the door as possible but was genuinely interested in doing a thorough job and providing great customer service! Those of you who have read some of my past reviews know I have seen the good, bad and just plain weird. All clear! This place is legit and I will definitely be back. Well done Waxpertz, well done!

My coworker and I booked this appointment over a week in advance which was a bad experience to begin w/. To book this I had to call repeatedly, there was no voice mail box or any indication that I was even calling the correct # and I had to email the website to get a reply for an appointment. We arrived for our appointments 5 mins early. My coworkers was at 1, mine at 1:30. At 1:50, the aesthitician came out to say she now didn't have time for my appointment and I'd need to reschedule. My coworker said to absolutely NOT reschedule as she actually stopped the wax midway b/c the aesthetician did not know what she was doing, used multiple types of wax, and didn't know how to finish the waxing. I called to get my money back from the site I booked from, which I was able to do. When I called the salon to let them know I wouldn't be back, the aesthetician gave me EXTREMELY personal details regarding my coworker private areas and told me I had a terrible attitude and she was GLAD I would not be coming back in, then hung up on me. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, imagine my excitement when I discovered a location much closer to my house! I finally decided it was time to go back to true professionals who actually know what they're doing--and wow, I'm so glad I did! I'd tell you who did my brows, but honestly, I don't want you all to overbook her--LMAO! But seriously, if you want flawless brows, this is THE place to go! Highly recommend.
