In the end I got the cheeky monkey - pecan and banana sticky bun. I forgot the whole place is sourdough based baked goods (my assumption now) and thought the sticky bun tasted a bit off. The sour taste threw me off. I guess if you love sourdough (I do but I guess not as much as I thought), you will like everything in here. The sticky bun is probably great for people who love a bit of sourness in their baked goods. I just want a regular sticky bun which is softer and like a cloud. This version is not. It's also not as sweet as other sticky buns. Blah to me but probably manna to others. Tip on parking. More spots on the ground (time limit) than the underground (no time limit).

I guess my expectations were a little too high and my eyes ordered more than I should have. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a long John. I was quite disappointed in both. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either. It was only when you got to the center was when the cinnamon rolls were soft with filling. The other parts are just dry and flavorless. The long John was also underwhelming. They used the same frosting as the cinnamon rolls inside the long John. I guess I'm used to more of a custard filling. Sadly, I'm still in search of a great cinnamon roll in Whistler.

this place really irritates me. We were in here in the last two days in the morning and we…read morespecifically asked the owner what time they close and she said 7 PM so we went back at 6 PM last night and they were closed. We thought it was a fluke because of a recent Pemberton Fire with a lot of employees living there, etc. Then we went back tonight at 6 PM again for dessert and they were closed again. Two employees are in there, but the lights are off and they won't answer the door. There's a big sign that says they're open till 7 PM every day. It's the owner's choice what time she chooses to stay open till, but your signage needs to reflect your actual hours consistently. Also, your Yelp hours need to be accurate too. People drive all the way over here and pay for parking and then you're closed. It's extremely disappointing and I've been supporting your business since around 2007.

Their breakfast sandwich comes in three varieties: bacon, sausage, and veggie. All three are served on the most delightful brioche bun with a perfect cheese selection and an egg made fresh to order (literally watched the guy crack the eggs to be cooked). The accompaniments on each sandwich are perfectly curated to create a symphony of flavors and textures, and it was the perfect serving size to leave us feeling full but not stuffed for our subsequent Nordic ski adventures. In addition to an impeccable breakfast sandwich, the vibe at Forecast is instantly cozy and welcoming, with high ceilings, tons of seating, and airy wood and plant decor. Their extensive menu is displayed on the wall, featuring a number of different sandwiches and breakfast options as well as all of your classic coffee shop drinks. They offer bags of their freshly roasted coffee for purchase as well (when we purchased one, the printed date showed us it was roasted just 3 days prior!!). I'm more of a tea person, but I really enjoyed the option to have a London Fog, and my coffee-inclined friends raved about several of their roasts. They also offer cocktails and other alcoholic bevvies for the apres ski crowd.

BeaverTails is a Canadian dessert spot known for its fried dough pastries topped with sweet and…read moresavory combinations. We walked up to the Whistler location, which is convenient for grabbing a quick treat while exploring the village, especially after spending time outdoors. The shop has a simple, focused setup built around fast service and freshly prepared desserts, with a steady line of customers moving through the counter throughout the day. The BeaverTails are the main draw, and the best part is the texture. The pastry has a crisp exterior while staying soft and chewy inside, which makes it easy to see why it is such a popular Canadian treat. We tried a few different toppings and found the strawberry cheesecake option stood out with a good balance of sweetness, while the classic cinnamon sugar version kept things simple and enjoyable. The toppings are generous and the pastry itself is substantial enough to feel like a proper dessert rather than a light snack. There are also more creative choices like chocolate, fruit, and seasonal toppings for anyone wanting something different, and the variety across the menu gives you a reason to try something new on repeat visits. The ordering process was quick, and the staff kept things moving even when there was a steady line. The team handled the flow efficiently, and the service remained friendly despite the volume of orders. Since it is mainly a grab-and-go spot, seating is limited, so it works better as a snack stop rather than a place to sit for a long time. The outdoor benches nearby provide a spot to enjoy the pastry while taking in the village atmosphere. BeaverTails is worth trying if you are visiting Whistler and want a dessert that is different from the usual options. The combination of fresh pastry, unique toppings, and convenient location makes it an easy stop while walking around the village. It delivers a warm, satisfying treat that feels like a classic Canadian experience, and the simplicity of the concept is what makes it work so well.
