We all scream for Hokkaido Ice Cream!!!…read more Really! We love it so much, we had these yummy Hokkaido soft serve 3 nights in a row. I Cremeria Cafe is located on the 4th floor - food court inside the Langham Place. Tip: take the express escalator to bypass the hustles of shoppers to the 3rd floor, and quickly take a short escalator ride to 4th floor and BAM, it's right there! I had Hokkaido fresh cream soft serve when I visited Japan a few years back, and I've always wanted to enjoy it again. It is not overly sweet like our very own Mr. Softie; the Hokkaido fresh cream is silky soft and has a natural sweetness. Love it so much! We've tried the soft serve in cones and cups; as well as the mix (matcha + cream). If my body allows it, I would have one everyday... alas, my metabolism just won't work with me. So 3 nights in a row was a heavenly treat!!!! #vacationweightdontcount #foodhumor LOL

The lavender ice cream signage caught our eye, but we ended up getting the vanilla ice cream topped with gold. The ice cream was really good, not too sweet or bland. Had a light vanilla flavor. You can't really taste the gold, and it really kind of melts as soon as it touches the ice cream, making for an incredible photo opp. Will for sure stop by again bc the ice cream wasn't bad, they have so much more on their menu to try too.

You have to visit Oddies!…read more We were searching for a good dessert place near our hotel in Central HK and were watching a TLC show with Ian Wright as a guest. They visited Oddies and we wanted to try egg waffles so we walked there. Getting there was admittedly a steep trek but it was completely worth the walk. It's a small shop that was easy to miss, but there was a nice spot to sit down inside. We bought the Fancy Pants parfait, which was somewhat pricey (about $10 US). We opted to eat it on the way back to our hotel. The gelato was soft and creamy, and had multiple layers of tantalizing flavors (peanut butter, cookie chunks, etc.). It was super flavorful and delicious. The egg waffles themselves were crispy on the outside and custardy and soft on the inside. They were the perfect amount of sweetness and absolutely delectable when eaten in a spoon with the ice cream. This was so, so yummy and unique- definitely somewhere to go and wish we had time for a repeat visit!

I got the Night Wolf, which allows you the choice of coffee gelato or some adaptation of caramel I think. I wish that you were able to freely select which flavor of gelato you want in your egg waffle cup, but unfortunately they are set flavors. Such a shame too, since they had really interesting flavors like Cheese Christ and whatnot. The egg waffle dessert itself was awesome, but there was some sour pudding on the bottom that I did not enjoy. Not really sure what that was, to be honest, but the rest was delicious nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, the food is gorgeous and definitely more attractive than my face is. But minus 1 star for the really really slow service and sour surprise in the dessert. BUT STILL!! EVERYONE SHOULD COME HERE!!!! Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 (3/100)

In Japan, soufflé pancakes are trendy and Hong Kong loves anything that is trendy. After a day of…read moreshopping and walking what it seemed to be miles in Mongkok, we finally found I Love You Dessert Bar. It's a 2018 Michelin Recommended Street Food, so I had to check it out. This place is not a sit down place. There are no tables inside, there is a 2 person counter outside the shop and chairs. You order inside and wait outside. They warn you that it's made to order which means it'll be a 15 minute wait or so. We ordered the mango pancakes with diced mangoes, vanilla ice cream, fresh cream and what seemed to be a ground up cookie. The pancake was light, fluffy and slightly sweet. It was complimented by the diced mangoes and ice cream. It also came with a paper Michelin man and I Love You Dessert cutout which of course made everything IG worthy. I love Asian desserts because they're not that sweet and this pancake was everything I expected and more.

It must be a newer dessert place since there was a huge line to get these tasty desserts. We just had an original one since they were sold out of mango. It was delicious! It was really light and came with some ice cream, whipped cream and a sauce on top. I liked it because it wasn't overly sweet. This place is definitely worth a stop.
