My experience with PURE TELECOM
I signed up with them for broadband and landline. An engineer arrived at my house on a Saturday to connect up, he had no modem with him so he connected me up to an 8 year old Vodafone modem I had. He told me the landline would be live in an hour and if not it would be working first thing Monday morning. Monday morning the landline still wasn't working so I rang Pure Telecom and they told me it would take 24 hours (there was more than 24 hours gone since Saturday afternoon). Tuesday morning still no landline, I called again and was told it would definitely be working on Wednesday morning. I also asked about a modem, the agent was surprised I didn't have one and said it would be delivered within 24 hours, he even gave me the number for the courier company that would be delivering it so I could check and see what time it would arrive. Wednesday morning still no landline. I called the courier company and they had nothing for me.
So before I even began service with Pure Telecom I had problems. I decided to cancel the whole order and was told there would be cancellation fees!
My advice is avoid Pure Telecom they are unprofessional and incompetent. Waste of time. read more
