Ici Paris is a great place to go if you want genuine skin care advice and better than average spa…read moreservices. This is my go-to place for facials. Hands down. The women that work here are highly qualified and recommend the right treatment, not just the most expensive. They don't push you to buy products either. They make recommendations and then leave it up to you to buy if you want. They are willing to provide samples as well. I don't find their products or services too pricey. They are pretty average with other spas. I am a believer in spending more for better facial products instead of drug store brands anyways. In terms of the services, they usually have specials going on, which is a great way to try them out. Other than facials, I've also had a massage, manicure and pedicure done at Ici. They were all great. The woman who did my mani/pedi did such a great job that it lasted for many weeks. The only negative is that the place is somewhat outdated in decor and ambience. They could use a reno. The beds for facials and massages are not the best (still ok) but I've seen better. The robes seem a little worn out and the pedicure chairs are old. Also, not much selection for nail polish colours. More should be added. However, I still support this place as I feel there is strong value in their advice and attention to customer satisfaction.

After two months, at the end of my last treatment, they said they forgot to charge HST (over $200) which I would have to pay immediately. I ended up paying, and it left a very bitter taste. If you do buy packages from this business, double-check to make sure the price includes HST. --Update-- The response from the business doesn't make sense and isn't true: "you purchased our Black Friday special from outside Canada" I live in Toronto, and purchased this package while in Canada. The receptionist who dealt with this issue also told me that multiple people paid a promotional price that didn't include HST. I'm disappointed that the business didn't try to make things right, instead shifting the blame when it clearly wasn't my fault, and other customers were also affected.

I also looked up a review posted on a website from years ago (attached). What I saw when I actually visited in person for my appointment is what I can only describe as something I would have NEVER wanted to set foot in. It looked like a shady dentists office, with a single massage chair, bad lighting, dirty and old furniture, and overall not a place I would have ever wanted to find myself in. Why this was not advertised on the website is something I'm still thinking about? If you moved locations from King to Queen street, maybe your patrons should know? The lady who did my facial seems inexperienced. I didn't quite like the products used, the tools (for the infra current, extraction etc), or something as basic as eye coverings or head band. My hairline on the front was doused in product since she didn't use a head band, and used a tissue paper of some sort. She spent the entire hour and a half adjusting the paper. Extractions we're not performed well. She had a blade of some sort which she rubbed on my face multiple times seemingly to get rid of the dry skin. I left the spa disappointed in the ambience, the service, and the quality of the facial. This was also the most expensive facial I've ever done (150$ and above?), for the worst experience of my life. I would like to hear back from the owners on what kind of business you're running, and why there was no transparency in the whole process.

As we were the last…read moreappointments of the day, the spa was quite empty when we arrived and we did not have to encounter a group of chattering women which was nice. Camden spa has a very nice airy feel about their space as it is a loft conversion and on a bright Saturday afternoon, the space was filled with lots of natural light. As we entered, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and were asked to fill out a form for our service providers. We were also offered tea and water as we waited for our treatment. As we each entered our treatment rooms, there was a confusion about who was getting what treatment which threw me off a little bit but we ended up receiving the correct services. My facial was done by Ana who was friendly without being too chatty. My room was almost completely dark and since we were coming from a massage, this almost put me straight to sleep. I thought the facial was on a little shorter side but I was told that it was because I did not need extractions. Overall, the facial felt really nice. My skin definitely felt very well hydrated. However, I went to use the washroom, I could see that my eye make up was not all removed as I could see remains of my eyeliner. Hmm...so much for a deep cleansing that supposedly took place before slathering on a bunch of hydrating salves. My sister's microdermabrasion was also similar. It was her first time trying it out so we had nothing to compare it to but the staff who performed the procedure told my sister that Camden Spa does maybe 5 -6 microdermabrasions a month. I guess that doesn't put them at the most experienced category. Either way, my sister seemed happy with the result of her treatment. I would say my overall experience at Camden spa was just okay. Not superb but pleasant enough that I would not discount them for future visits.

Great prices, clean place, and excellent customer service!!…read more I cannot stress how reasonably priced this place is! I went in for an electrolysis treatment and it was the cheapest I have found so far! $27 for 30 mins! Excellent! The only reason this place isn't a 5/5 is because the ambiance of the clinic isn't like a spa, it's much more basic. If you're looking for a spa experience this is probably not the best place to go. It's a very basic location with necessary equipment to get the job done. However, there are no extra pluses as you would get at a (sometimes) overpriced spa. When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly and knowledgeable staff member who seemed very educated about electrolysis. During the course of my session she handled the treatment with great professionalism. This was my first electrolysis treatment at this place, and I am already anticipating great results due to the care of the staff! But, I will certainly follow up with another review as time passes to see how the results of my treatment come out! Overall a very pleasant experience, I will certainly be going again and recommending this place to friends and family!

First impression of front desk was super helpful, the lady was very kind. The facility is lovely and well-appointed with sauna, steam room, robes, lounge, and other amenities like pads, shavers etc. This is a great bonus that saves a star! Unfortunately, the massage service my partner received (gifted by me) did not meet expectations. We had arrived on time (early), but she was not called to the massage room until her appointment time. Then, she had to fill out her forms, which should have been provided when we arrived early (or perhaps online beforehand is a good idea!). She's also filled out these forms before so health questions should be on file already. This cut into her massage time and she did not receive the full 50 minutes. As well, her verbal instructions were not entirely regarded by the masseur (when asking for less leg work, the request was ignored).
