Before beginning, Joey confirmed she didn't feel any leftover filler in my lips. I began to feel hesitant seeing how long the procedure was taking just to do 1 syringe of Juvederm XC filler. It took around 45 minutes before we ran into issues. Joey mentioned there was a lump of new filler on my top lip that she should be able to message out. This was very painful. She then became nervous and asked "Did you feel a burst or something? And I said what? Then she responded by saying that she was "just going to message the PA on the SLACK app really quick". I had no idea what was happening! She then left the room and returned saying she has a remote PA on video chat that needs to check if I got a Vascular Occlusion caused by the filler injection! When I looked in the mirror I panicked! They took SEVERAL videos and I spoke with the PA virtually who stated "in their observation that it may just be a very VERY bad HEMATOMA! But if it was a Vascular Occulusion and circulation was not being provided to areas of my lips, I would have to go to Urgent care because it would be considered "a medical emergency!" Nurse Joey suggested that I can have the filler dissolved immediately which would lower my chances of complications and I agreed to just dissolve it, HOWEVER the PA on video chat advised that we "give it some time as there has already been A LOT OF TRAUMA caused to my lips". I was very scared! I then stated that I wanted a refund! Joey advised that I speak with the front desk. The front desk said they would reach out to Tashina in regards to a refund. I also asked to schedule an appointment the next day to have someone check out my injured lips, praying that it wasnt a Vascular Occlusion. The next day 3/21/26, I was examined by Nurse Angie who's manner showed that she was more experienced. She was kind and attentive and was the 1ST person at Laser Away to apologize for my experience. She then took videos and stepped out. She then returned with another staff member who held her phone to take video while she lifted up my lip and massaged it to feel for any lumps, along with constantly pressing on my lip for 3 seconds at a time to show that my lips returned back to normal color after being pressed. The messaging and compressions were painful. Then they both left. THEN they came back a 2nd time to take ANOTHER video. I began to panic again. Angie noticed I was so nervous and said, we are just taking this 2nd video because the PA on SLACK needed better lighting. When they returned a 3RD time, they stated the remote PA (different than the one on the previous day) thought it was a bad hematoma and to take Arnica tablets and/or cream and to apply a warm compress every hour. But to make sure to look for any areas of gray or any intense pain or tingling. Then I was sent on my way. Still very scared and concerned. It has now been a week and I still have bruising on my lips AND upper lip! It is unacceptable to have these huge hematomas from mishandling of my lips! Some bruising is expected, but NOT FULL ON HEMATOMAS!!! Before leaving, I requested for the manager to call me so that I could speak about my experience. I had to called Laser Away on Monday 3/23 to check if my correct contact info was provided because I was never contacted. I was then finally contacted by Lynette the Regional Manager. She was pleasant on the phone and stated that she was sorry that my 1st experience at Laser Away was not as expected and mentioned that she would make sure Joey received additional training in areas that needed improvement. She offered a free Hydrafacial but honestly I am extremely traumatized being there. It is very unfortunate because I wanted to give LaserAway a chance and even talked my husband into booking a Botox appointment that weekend with LaserAway but this whole nightmare experience scared him away enough to cancel. Lynette said she would refund my husband's payment and 5 days later, still NO REFUND received! Lynette also stated that despite my whole experience, I COULD NOT get a refund as the services were already rendered, even though I had asked for a REFUND IMMEDIATELY at my 1ST appointment when i was LITERALLY IN THE ROOM! It has been a week now and I have been taking Arnica cream and tablets and been applying warm cloths periodically. I feel so self conscious about all the bruising that I have to cover it up with lipstick and foundation. Worried that ppl may think im getting physically abused when in reality this was all caused by Laser Away. Not to mention the money I had to spend on Arnica tablets and cream!!! It is very scary that they do not have Physician Assistants on site to assess situations like this!!! If there was, then I would feel safer knowing whether or not I should go to the emergency room for a Vascular Occlusion!

He did a deliberate botch surgery ...never wanting anyone to go on my face...predatory battery in order to try to sell the facelift they kept pushing when I said no, and none of the records say it was discussed except their quote written by his wife's instruction to give to me "a deal if done on the same day". He made the jowels look bigger, and uneven fat removal, and fat separation up to the cheeks and indentations on my jawline. This also caused nerve damage so I can't smile normally still after 3 months my mouth cramps up randomly, eat with biting my lip, etc...have to do physical therapy. He refused to refer me or admit to what everyone else sees. He said it will be 8 weeks to get my mouth back..more lies. In post op he tried lying and argued he didn't go on my face and said "it would be dangerous", said it is referred pain and numbness... I said I have photos of Canula marks and a big lump on my face above my jawbone. He then lied and said "he meant he didn't go up to the cheek". He falsified medical records saying I had no complaints and my mouth works fine in post op. Zero consultation records. He didn't even include the perscribed Rx he gave me or OTC Rx to take home in his records! He contradicted his own aftercare instructions in capital letters. He didn't give me compression for what i went in for, and when asked, shrugged his shoulders like he didn't know. After surgery I had to text the question again, and ask about icing and exercise because he was too busy to talk to me after surgery. Gave no instructions in text either! Plus his negligence of my medical needs caused an Adams Apple because he "was too busy at his other office". A saroma, as stated in paperwork, should have been expressed, and he admitted he does sometimes but never asked me to go in to get it evaluated after several texts begging. So it hardened. He told me to get (long and painful) professional lymphatic massages to fix it...doesn't work. That drastically loosened my neck skin. other surgeons say I will get my smile back after a year 90% and only a facelift will help or filler is ongoing forever. Just a few days after post op he posted a long novel choreographed video with staff saying "this is what plastic surgeons do"... he's not even a plastic surgeon! He is a gynocologist! He false advertised good after 1 week, but texted me the big black sutures fall out after 2-3 weeks. In post op texts he said it will be 8 weeks to 6 months to be healed!! also tried selling tightening when the smart lipo says it tightens without anything else. He admitted in post-op he deliberately scraped my jaw bone 5-10 times on the one side (where they took thier illegal promotional video during surgery-i opted out of any pics or videos, and he put his logo on my pics!) he told me to try to move fat from the other side to the scraped side to fix it now. ..didn't offer to fix anything, even at a reduced rate like his paperwork says. He also ignored my anesthesia needs, and others have reviewed he's done that to them as well. he lied his numbing is stronger than the dentist, but his records show its just lidocane (the same), saline and a vasoconstrictor...so I felt the canula jabbing me the entire time for an hour. I told the nurse (his wife) that would happen unless they get septocane...the doctor lied in pre-op his "is stronger than the dentist". He admitted in post op the face muscles caused my mouth to be so bad and if he would have only done the neck this wouldn't be happening. Well since I'm in customer service and smiling and talking is everything to me, He will be sued and reported to the medical board if not settled ASAP! Future surgery pain and suffering and destroyed plans for this entire year and a half before I'm allowed to get revisions. Obviously not a compassionate doctor award winner like they tell us.
