Pure Light Cleaning did a fantastic job on my tenant move-out carpet cleaning. On fairly short notice, the business owner, Cameron, sent over his employee "Adrian" who did a superb job cleaning the carpets in the entire house. One room's light colored Berber carpet was especially nasty dirty, and Adrian spent a lot of time cleaning the carpet in that room, and he got it clean. Very clean. It was like night and day. I was amazed. No exaggeration, I didn't think they could get that room's carpet remotely close to clean -- and they most certainly did -- they got it dang clean. The cost for the entire house was very reasonable, and the service was just simply superb. Cameron and Adrian both exude good business ethics and exceptionally good character, and I could not have been happier with their very professional service. Any and all future carpet cleanings will be done with Pure Light from now on. read more

I hired Pure Light Cleaning to clean our travertine master shower and floor. Unfortunately the cleaning process did not remove the soap residue in the grout inside the shower-which is what I really wanted, so I was disappointed in how the cleaning turned out. Also, the cleaning of the travertine floor left it looking dull and had I known that would happen from the cleaning solution, I would not have had the large floor area cleaned. Based on my experience and considering the cost, I would not recommend this service for cleaning travertine. read more

Would we recommend? Unfortunately no, they were not able to fulfill our original request, which was promised at the beginning by the owner. We were charged well over $2000 for a "Cleaning & resealed" for 1000 square foot area of travertine. We wanted our grout to be cleaned to its original color, when we showed them the comparison in another area that was original, we were promised it would look as good when they were done. The day they came, I was concerned after completion the grout was not any different, and lots of streaks left. I was told to give it 48 hrs because they just resealed and it would brighten as it dried. After 4 days I called them back, they sent out their crew a week later, at this time they said they would clean but didn't need to reseal the grout. After they completed, we were told the same thing, give it time to dry and it will brighten. The streaks were worse this second attempt and the grout did not brighten. The owner came out a third time, and was able to get rid of the streaks, but all in all they were not able to follow through and do as promised. Our grout did not brighten to its original color, we are able to clean it by hand and see it brighten, and that was the reason we paid over $2000, assuming they would save us time and trouble. I gave three stars because attempts to fix it were in place and they were nice, but unable to fulfill their original promise after three attempts. read more

We received a bid from this company for shower cleaning (tile and grout) -- clean and seal --for $300. I was hoping they'd be able to remove all of the soap scum and residue, especially for this price. Once they were completed I reviewed their work. It looks as though an ordinary cleaning was done that could've taken me 30-40 min to do. The glass is well cleaned but there's significant orange soap scum and residue and the floor doesn't look completely clean. For this reason, I gave 1 star due to poor value and quality. Apparently they believe we need restoration but if that's the case why did we spend $300 for a simple cleaning that could've be done for $5 worth of vinegar a soap. Overall, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the work and the end result. read more

Their minimum to come out is $350 but the actual cleaning of the ottoman is only $75-$100 - if I were to bring it to them. Hired Cameron's company mostly off the yelp reviews. I also noticed he was owner / operator which is always nice. I was a little concerned he wouldn't travel to Escondido for a small condo job, but he had no problem with the location. First off, showed up on time. This is very important as time is valuable to everyone. Second, very clean and professional. The truck was kept very nice, he wore booty's in the house, professionally dressed, laid towels down on the wood areas. Cameron went through the whole house and inspected, measured and made sure that any areas of concern were addressed. The price was very fair and I never got a sense of him trying to up-sale or push extras. He took the time to explain what products were good to use on my tile and what I shouldn't be using (which is what I was using and will now stop). I never got a sense of Cameron trying to rush the job. I think it was more important to him that he did the job right. This is a first time having someone come into my home to clean my floors, as I have always been leery of a stranger roaming in all the bedrooms. Pure Light recently completed two projects for us: 1) Repaired a crack in our granite kitchen counter and then cleaned and resealed the entire island countertop; and 2) Cleaned and resealed our master bathroom shower that is tiled in natural stone. The first project's results were terrific from the start. In the master bath, however, despite hours of work, we weren't getting the results expected. Our tech was clearly disappointed, too, and set about rectifying the situation. He came up with the perfect solution.
