pure light was hired to clean and seal my limestone patio and entrance for 8/5/2026. they came on time and apparently finished on time hence 2 stars. about 3 weeks after that brown spots about 3 inch diameter appeard in 4 areas ? condensation on outdoor furniture. after repeated calls they declined to cover it and demanded $500 service charge to clean and seal the spots. such spots never occured before b/c previous guys applied sealant properly. purelight did not apply sealant, hence spots under furniture from condensation. we in san diego did not have any rains in several weeks. needless to say THIS COMPANY DOES NOT BACK THEIR WORK OR LACK THEREOF. i will have to hire someone else to seal the patio again. AVOID PURELIGHT unless you want poor quality work and headache afterwords. read more

I hired Pure Light Cleaning to clean our travertine master shower and floor. Unfortunately the cleaning process did not remove the soap residue in the grout inside the shower-which is what I really wanted, so I was disappointed in how the cleaning turned out. Also, the cleaning of the travertine floor left it looking dull and had I known that would happen from the cleaning solution, I would not have had the large floor area cleaned. Based on my experience and considering the cost, I would not recommend this service for cleaning travertine. read more

Amazing staff and great work! They are everything they advertised to be. I will use them again in the future.

After reading the reviews, I called this company to see if they could fix some scorch marks on my solid surface countertop. Bummed that they don't do that work, but super impressed they called me back quickly to let me know they couldn't do it! If I had something they can do, I'll def call them. read more

Had my granite countertops cleaned and polished and Kevin did an amazing job. His customer service skills were outstanding. Very happy with the work, I will need my carpet cleaned in a couple weeks, I definitely will be reaching out to Pure Light for a quote. Thank you read more

Excellent - I highly recommend this company! Matti booked my appointment and was very helpful, knowledgable and professional. Kevin was the tech assigned to restore the luster to my dull Marble bathroom floors. He's a perfectionist and takes his work seriously. Upon completion, my floors were restored and looked absolutely beautiful with all the shine and luster as when I initially installed them, 24 years ago! I was extremely pleased with the cost and final result - and I would definitely use them again. read more

We just used Pure Light's services to repair a crack in the granite, particularly the piece in front of the kitchen sink. What an amazing job they did and all in one visit today! We had been told recently by a company, that originally installed the granite counter almost 20yrs ago, that the whole slab needed to be replaced at a very expensive cost! Thank goodness we searched for another option and found Pure Light, who did a beautiful job at a minimal cost! Thank you, Pure Light! We are so pleased!! : ) read more

Alec and his partner did an amazing job. Honestly I did not think the grout would be able to look like it originally did when new. Highly recommend these guys. They are professional, on time, honest and worked diligently all morning to get the project done. We even used them to power wash and clean the pavers and they did an amazing job there too. 5 stars all the way around for Alec and his partner. read more

Cameron came out to fix some some chips on my kitchen granite countertop. The area in front of the sink was rough and was putting small holes in my shirts. Cameron used a filler that cured with UV light and then used different sanding products to get the finish perfect. Stoked with the quality of work and the price was fair. Highly recommended. read more

Would we recommend? Unfortunately no, they were not able to fulfill our original request, which was promised at the beginning by the owner. We were charged well over $2000 for a "Cleaning & resealed" for 1000 square foot area of travertine. We wanted our grout to be cleaned to its original color, when we showed them the comparison in another area that was original, we were promised it would look as good when they were done. The day they came, I was concerned after completion the grout was not any different, and lots of streaks left. I was told to give it 48 hrs because they just resealed and it would brighten as it dried. After 4 days I called them back, they sent out their crew a week later, at this time they said they would clean but didn't need to reseal the grout. After they completed, we were told the same thing, give it time to dry and it will brighten. The streaks were worse this second attempt and the grout did not brighten. The owner came out a third time, and was able to get rid of the streaks, but all in all they were not able to follow through and do as promised. Our grout did not brighten to its original color, we are able to clean it by hand and see it brighten, and that was the reason we paid over $2000, assuming they would save us time and trouble. I gave three stars because attempts to fix it were in place and they were nice, but unable to fulfill their original promise after three attempts. read more

Pure Light was professional, efficient, and did an amazing job deep cleaning the vinyl laminate floors in our tattoo shop! We received a bid from this company for shower cleaning (tile and grout) -- clean and seal --for $300. I was hoping they'd be able to remove all of the soap scum and residue, especially for this price. Once they were completed I reviewed their work. It looks as though an ordinary cleaning was done that could've taken me 30-40 min to do. The glass is well cleaned but there's significant orange soap scum and residue and the floor doesn't look completely clean. For this reason, I gave 1 star due to poor value and quality. Apparently they believe we need restoration but if that's the case why did we spend $300 for a simple cleaning that could've be done for $5 worth of vinegar a soap. Overall, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the work and the end result. read more

I need a 48x48 ottoman cleaned and this company was recommended to me by a another cleaning company. Their minimum to come out is $350 but the actual cleaning of the ottoman is only $75-$100 - if I were to bring it to them. Unfortunately, that's not an option for me which is why I am looking for a mobile company. Apparently they are in fact mobile, but only for an exorbitant price. read more

A complete waste of money! Very disappointing! Definitely had to look twice: "Were they even here????" Called to inquire. They offered to re-do, but didn't show up as scheduled due to 'machinery breakdown'. Do not expect much, if anything, from this inept grout cleaning service. Very, very displeased. It was difficult, morally and ethically, to agree to pay them any at all. read more

Pure Light saved my tumbled travertine floor! That kind of flooring is hard to keep clean and even harder to clean once its dirty. Years of dogs, kids, spilled food and dust ground in. When they were done, the floor looked like it was just put down, like brand new. I thought we were going to need new flooring for the whole house - but decided to give these guys a try first. GLAD I DID!! The guys that came and did the work were prompt, organized, informative - cant say enough good things about them. Thank you Pure Light! read more

I'd leave 10 stars if I could. Alec was friendly and on time and did an incredible job!! I knew we had some spots on our couch that probably wouldn't come out. I've used Pure Light Cleaning several years on my home carpets and rugs and they've always done a good job. Today I also hired them to clean and seal the expensive travertine floors in our very large kitchen/dining area as well as the Master Bath shower. Alec showed up on time and has done a fantastic job -- he's meticulous with detail, really cares about the quality of the result, and has a professional and personable manner. The photo below shows the uncleaned travertine on the left and the cleaned travertine on the right. What a difference! Hired Cameron's company mostly off the yelp reviews. I also noticed he was owner / operator which is always nice. I was a little concerned he wouldn't travel to Escondido for a small condo job, but he had no problem with the location. First off, showed up on time. This is very important as time is valuable to everyone. Second, very clean and professional. The truck was kept very nice, he wore booty's in the house, professionally dressed, laid towels down on the wood areas. Cameron went through the whole house and inspected, measured and made sure that any areas of concern were addressed. The price was very fair and I never got a sense of him trying to up-sale or push extras. He took the time to explain what products were good to use on my tile and what I shouldn't be using (which is what I was using and will now stop). I never got a sense of Cameron trying to rush the job. I think it was more important to him that he did the job right. This is a first time having someone come into my home to clean my floors, as I have always been leery of a stranger roaming in all the bedrooms. Now that I have found Pure Light Cleaning, I will have them done more often. Highly recommend. Don't bother calling anyone else. read more

This review is WAY overdue!! I have now had Cameron to my home twice to clean my living room/dining room carpets(once over a year ago and again last week). He is SUCH a delight to work with and I've never seen anyone do such a thorough job cleaning carpets. My light color carpets go from being grungy (dogs and kids will do that!) to looking BRAND new! He even cleans my area rugs for free on top of it. I highly recommend Cameron and want to thank him again for jobs well done!! :-) read more

Top notch customer service...timely, thorough, and professional! I received an adorable thank you card in the mail today from Pure Light and I just had to write a review. Exceptional customer service is hard to come by and after reading all of the yelp reviews I decided to give them a call. I have to say that Pure Light over exceeded my expectations! We had red wine and coffee stains on our white area rug and I really didn't think anything could make it white again. I called Pure Light and Cameron stopped by our place the next day and assured us he could remove the stains, the following day he took care of our area rug and our bedroom carpet the same day and everything turned out perfectly! Cameron is awesome, he's super down to earth and extremely knowledgeable with tough stains and carpet cleaning in general, I would absolutely recommend him, you will not be disappointed! Thanks Cameron!! read more

Cameron from Pure Light Cleaning is a true professional. He came to our house for a free consultation about our travertine tile flooring. His expertise in the field of caring for soft stones such as travertine and marble is evident as soon as Cameron starts talking with you. He walked through the rooms in which we have travertine flooring, evaluated the condition and etching damage of the tiles, and then gave us very honest information about our options. I really appreciated his honesty... it is clear that his priority is doing what is best for the customer, as opposed to trying to sell services. We learned quite a lot about how to care for our floors in the 20 minutes he spoke with us. Thank you Cameron! read more

Pure Light recently completed two projects for us: 1) Repaired a crack in our granite kitchen counter and then cleaned and resealed the entire island countertop; and 2) Cleaned and resealed our master bathroom shower that is tiled in natural stone. The first project's results were terrific from the start. In the master bath, however, despite hours of work, we weren't getting the results expected. Our tech was clearly disappointed, too, and set about rectifying the situation. He came up with the perfect solution. It required a second but very worthwhile visit and a different sealant, which resulted in a shiny, uniform finish. We really appreciated the techs taking such a personal interest in achieving high-quality results. read more
