I came across this page when I was searching for a piercing salon. I had my ear lobes pierced when I was younger but also removed my earrings soon after. Wasn't sure if both ear lobes closed up on me. So I was feeling adventurous with my half brother to go get my ear lobes pierced again and for him to get his pierced for the first time. The piercing procedure didn't hurt at all! During these covid times, Jon made us feel very safe by sterilizing the tools / instruments and by cleaning the whole store down before one of us came in. He also spaced out our appointment for social distancing. Jon is very kind and warm hearted, and he will talk to you like an old friend if you're nervous when getting pierced. He cleans and sterilizes everything, right down to the card reader that you pay with, I've seen him do it! He is very experienced at his craft and has worked with me every step of the way, even being a great jewelry consultant, helping me with choosing what's right for me during the healing process. We took my daughter to get her ears pierced 2 weeks after she turned 3 months. We really didn't want to bring her to Clair's or any other place using the gun piercing method and so when I found this place and saw the reviews I called and asked a ton of questions which were all answered. I loved that they go by appointments only so they prioritize and focus on you and only you. Jon was very informative and made my husband and I feel very at ease with the process. He talked us through it all and made sure we knew what he was doing the entire time. He also taught us how to do aftercare which was really simple. They also sell piercing after care mist solution which is what we use to clean her piercing. Although I wished we had a little more time for me to calm my baby after his next appointment, an hour is all you get. An hour seems long but it doesn't with all the information and things you have to go through with paper work, picking out jewelry, aftercare, etc. by then he pierced my daughters ears about 5 minutes before our 1 hour was up and his next appointment was waiting. He did feel really bad about us not having the time to use the space before his next appointment but we understood. Other then that, everything went smoothly and I'm very happy with the process! After I was out voted about my granddaughters 13th. birthday wish for an industrial bar I set out looking for a place that piercings are what they do. At 55 I'm old fashioned and have only my ear lobes pierced and no tattoos. But I do realize most if not all tattoo shops offer piercings as a secondary service and/or convenience, but her health and safety are more important than a secondary convenient service. So I found this place here on yelp and called to ask questions. My call was sent to a voicemail where I did leave a message, but no quicker than I hung up the phone I received a text asking if there was anything they could answer via text. So I text a couple questions and was told they would return my call shortly, and did. I told her my situation and was informed that due to her age I'd have to fill out a release form for the state of Florida and have it notarized. The form was emailed to me, I printed it, filled it out and went to a UPS store for the notary. I had also got the last available appointment of the day which was the time I'd requested. We arrive on time and are greeted by Jon, who is the certified piercer who eventually pierced my granddaughters ear. The reason I say eventually is, Jon has the knowledge, training and experience to check that an industrial bar is right for her. Turns out, her ears have more fold around the top edges than most, making an industrial bar not right for her. And if I had Jon's knowledge I'd fully explain all the reasons....lol. So an hour and a half into our appointment, after exploring all her options and what we all could agree to we got to the nitty gritty of paperwork, payment and aftercare. So a full two hours in, she had a new piercing. My words can't express my gratitude for my granddaughters health and safety being as important to Jon as it is to me. And I feel certain she would have an industrial bar right now if I had taken her somewhere that piercings are a secondary convenient service, with total disregard for how it may damage her ear as she grows. Here's the kicker, I'm happy, my granddaughter is happy, and including the actual piercing, the jewelry and aftercare solution......I spent $99.20 With all that time, service, and knowledge I happily tipped 25% This is the place for all piercings but you can double that statement if you are talking about a young child. read more
