Fortunately, I found Ramon on Instagram and his attention to detail and shading was impeccable! The tattoo on his page that really caught my attention was the painted bird tattoo. I booked an appointment directly with him on IG and he was very quick to respond. Before I knew it, he had me scheduled and my dream tattoo became a reality. He was very communicative and professional. The tattoo hurt more than I expected but he was generous and gave me lots of breaks to breathe. The pain was so bad that I even thought about tapping out multiple times. I appreciate his patience and care that he took to make sure I was okay. The entire session was about 8 hours long. I am so glad I came to him because I absolutely LOVE my tattoo! Highly recommend him! Sent his IG to my friends and family. Hopefully they book appointments with him too.

His line work is very exact and he has excellent fundamentals-his stuff is bold and bright, and will last forever. He did some traditional pieces (one was a re-work on a pretty poorly done tattoo from someone else awhile ago) along with a couple of out of the box ideas, so he's well-rounded. Not to mention, dude is funny as shit. Generally speaking, Born to Lose is a very well run shop. They have always kept appointments and been on time, which isn't always the case w the tattoo industry. Their prices are relatively low given the caliber of work they do. I highly recommend this shop for any ideas you have. They'll work with you and most importantly, they'll genuinely listen to what you want to do.

We came in to get my bf tattooed, and I opted for a piercing. Wait time wasn't bad at all for us having just walked in. The shop was clean and well taken care of. My piercing experience was great. I got my conch (inner ear) done. I've been pierced by several different people in the past but TalkSick was the most memorable. I really appreciated how he put so much thought into my piercing placement so it would be as aesthetically pleasing and flattering as possible. He made the process fun and comfortable. He even checked on me later on, while I was watching my bf get tatted. Jess, the tattoo artist, did a GREAT job. She was easygoing, didn't waste any time, and her work is solid. The piece came out very clean (pic doesn't do it justice, trust me) and was exactly what my bf wanted. This was a birthday gift for him and he is very happy with it. We appreciate how professional and talented the staff at JB's Ink Therapy is, and have already started referring friends and family to their shop. I creeped on his Instagram account for over a year before I sent him a message asking to book a tattoo. I explained to him I have a baby who has heart issues, so I was concerned about exposure of covid while in the shop. Not that I would ask everyone to wear a mask while I was there, but just because I wasn't sure how full the shop gets, as it is smaller (I also booked in December when covid numbers were pretty high). I was very grateful that he was willing to set time aside to come in when shop hours were closed, to do my tattoo. I was able to come in an hour before to put numbing cream on, which I feel helped as my tattoo took 4 hours to do. His station prep took about 40 minutes, which I appreciated, as it ensured he cared about how sterile his equipment was. My tattoo is beautiful. I have not had any line blowouts, and it has healed perfectly. I came in the next day after it was done for a wrap change, and when I took the 2nd wrap off 7 days later, my tattoo was virtually healed. He also responded pretty quickly about any questions I had regarding healing and after care, again, being my first tattoo, I didn't know what to expect. His line work is absolutely beautiful and I trust the longevity of his work over time is guaranteed. 10/10 recommend him as an artist.
