This review is more-so for the customer service. I've been wanting to get a tattoo by Sophollie for YEARS. Been following him on IG..been telling all my friends about him, to follow him, check out his work. He had a special about a month ago for small tattoos. I went in with some friends and I did something super quick. He was really nice about staying late. 2 weeks go by and my tattoo starts peeling. Looks like some of the color didn't take. I have other tattoos and they all healed just fine. I emailed him & he said he packed in the color well so he wasn't sure why it was like that. I don't doubt his skill at all, I obviously knew he was good. I asked if he could fix it. No response. Sent another email a couple days later...no response. Figured he's really busy so I left it alone for another two weeks, til it fully peeled. Emailed him another picture, no response. I didn't wanna blow up his emails, like maybe this dude really is that busy. I left it alone for a couple days but then commented on his IG post so maybe it's more obvious and I'd have better luck getting a response. He deleted the post I commented on lol. I'm so disappointed bc I was so excited to get a tattoo by him and have always wanted him to do a big piece on me. Even if he didn't think he could fix it, or he just didn't care to do small tattoos anymore, or whatever his reasoning may be....a response would've been nice. "Hey I don't think I can fix it, it's not going to hold color" "hey, come in and I can take a look but I'd have to charge you" SOMETHING. That's crazy to just blow off clientele like that, especially a paying one. I've never dealt with an artist like that. Been a fan for years and it's honestly so disappointing.
Sophollie is awesome. Been to him twice for a half sleeve and it's amazing. I get compliments almost every day from his work. Everyone at the studio is friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend
Today I had the pleasure to get tattooed by Thomas. He came highly recommended from friends. Thomas did a portrait of my father who passed away and he did such an amazing job. I've been wanting this tattoo for so long but had not found anybody who I felt would do a good job until I heard about Thomas. He is very kind and respectful. Truly shows he cares about the backstory of why I wanted it done. I will definitely be back to get more work done by him. Such a talented person. I couldn't be more happy!!!! Thank you so much!
Billy did a great job working with me. I wanted my 1st tattoo to be a memorable one that wasn't just a "cookie cutter" tattoo. He worked with me and my ideas, and found a way to make it work beautifully. If you're looking for an artist that will work with you, be patient with you, and still give you an Awesome tattoo then go see Billy.
I have had several tattoos done at different shops. I was referred by a friend but was reluctant to drive to Manteca. Made the trip and glad I did. Ultra clean, good looking shop. Tommy knows his stuff. Clean lines and artistic. He knows what looks good and what colors work well together. Tommy and Living Water Studios was worth the drive and exceded my expectations. I will be back.
Excellent facility in Manteca. Go inside and ask for Thomas. He is a very nice, and very talented person with an eye for detail. His shop is very clean, and his work is exceptional. He did my first one ever on my leg and it came out excellent, and was reasonably priced. I was very pleased, and, and although I told myself I only want this one...something tells me I might be back lol.
Thomas did an amazing job with my boyfriends tattoo. I love the vibe here as well. They accept cash and card.
A big thanks to Sophollie Pak for an amazing piece! He exceeded my expectations. Worth the wait to get it done. Definitely going back for my next tattoo. Follow him on Instagram at tattoosbysophollie.
Received my second tattoo from Billy and I'm absolutely in love with it. He did an amazing job at my cover up. I couldn't have imagined it to look this good. He's unbelievably talented!
Billy did one of my tattoos and the end result was amazing! I had a bunch of ideas of what I wanted in my tattoo and he was able to incorporate them all and make them work well together! He is very fair with his pricing while still delivering great work. Will definitely get more work done by him again
I got my first tattoo today- the artist who did it was Thomas Shea. He is very talented and a nice man! I had a certain way I wanted my tattoo then he gave me his idea and his was better so I went with it I would have never thought of the design the way he did. After he drew up what I wanted he made sure I liked it. Then he got to work. The feel for the shop was chill, I liked it. I would recommend coming here.
Tommy is amazing! He is always checks on his clients, makes sure they like the music playing, asks if the room temperature is okay, always asks if they're doing okay, I've never had a tattoo artist do that! And his work is absolutely amazing! We are working on a full back piece. It took me years to find the right artist to tattoo my whole back and I felt confident enough in Tommy's work to even give him creative power and it's the best decision I've made! Pictures of my lion to come! He is now the only artist I will ever go to and recommend!

Got a portrait today of my dad and let me tell you I'm soooo in love with it. I had the pleasure of having Thomas work on it and I'm blown away by how realistic it looks. My dad passed over a year ago and I wanted to make sure I had the right artist do it. I did my research and decided I wanted Thomas, I had seen his work on Instagram. The atmosphere and staff were incredible. Definitely recommend this shop! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Thomas! read more

First of all, BEST PLACE IN TOWN for tattoos hands down! With that being said, Ramon and Tommy are both really great guys and artists. However, Ramon was the one My wife and I chose to get my wife's 2nd tattoo and my 1st EVER tattoo. Myself being someone who works in the Medical Field, I must say this shop is very clean and I would say I recommend them #1 especially for that. Also, Ramon in particular has a steady/light hand, lines straight, shading great, and scripting is amazing. The quality of service provided is phenomenal because they make it an overall enjoyable experience to be there while getting your tattoo piece done. The inks they use are great and I always get compliments on how dark my ink looks and how great the lining/shading are. The pricing is fair for how they determine how much to charge. I of course compared all the shops I've heard about but this one was that sold me as the Perfect choice for a 1st tattoo or really any tattoo. The pictures of work Living Water Studios has done speaks for itself more than anything I could write. They provided great tips as well for maintaining the Tattoo and made sure the piece I wanted matched the location I was wanting it to be placed. I feel if you are going to get a tattoo that will be on your body for a lifetime, look no further and give Ramon & Tommy a call because they will give you something your proud of, appreciate and love for your whole life. Thanks again, God Bless you all and your shop. Hopefully this review can help someone who has been in my shoes when it comes to finding an artist(s) you can trust. read more

I scheduled a half sleeve appointment with Billy and everything was AMAZING! His prices are outstanding for the high quality of his work. He was very easy to schedule with as well. Heading into my appointment I was slightly nervous given as how I had never met him but was going to be spending anywhere from 6-8 hours with him. I was SOOOO happy with EVERYTHING!! He was amazingly easy to talk with and made me completely comfortable. You can tell right away that he takes pride in his work and cares about his people! The studio was clean, airy and the vibe was professional. I can not say enough good things about this business and the people involved. The first two pics are from the day of and the other two are the now healed tattoo two weeks out! No troubles at all with the healing process and very clear instruction given when leaving the studio. All in all a VERY positive experience and I can't wait to book more sessions with Billy! read more
