This review is not for the shop as a whole, but rather one artist. I sent an inquiry to get some work done by artist Sophollie Pak. I got a response from him via email within 2 days. He gave me a quote for the work I wanted done, I responded in less than 5 minutes asking which days he had available, and he never responded to that. Pretty crazy people do business like that these days... it must be this new generation... I'm from the old school lol. Anyhow thanks to Instagram there are many other talented tattoos artists to be located. Even taking a trip to LA is worth it for some ink these days. They got skills down there. On top of that i gave him a chance to redeem himself because he said he can do amazing work on "fresh" skin. Fucked my leg up too!! This review is more-so for the customer service. I've been wanting to get a tattoo by Sophollie for YEARS. Been following him on IG..been telling all my friends about him, to follow him, check out his work. He had a special about a month ago for small tattoos. I went in with some friends and I did something super quick. He was really nice about staying late. 2 weeks go by and my tattoo starts peeling. Looks like some of the color didn't take. I have other tattoos and they all healed just fine. I emailed him & he said he packed in the color well so he wasn't sure why it was like that. I don't doubt his skill at all, I obviously knew he was good. I asked if he could fix it. No response. Sent another email a couple days later...no response. Figured he's really busy so I left it alone for another two weeks, til it fully peeled. Emailed him another picture, no response. I didn't wanna blow up his emails, like maybe this dude really is that busy. I left it alone for a couple days but then commented on his IG post so maybe it's more obvious and I'd have better luck getting a response. He deleted the post I commented on lol. I'm so disappointed bc I was so excited to get a tattoo by him and have always wanted him to do a big piece on me. Even if he didn't think he could fix it, or he just didn't care to do small tattoos anymore, or whatever his reasoning may be....a response would've been nice. "Hey I don't think I can fix it, it's not going to hold color" "hey, come in and I can take a look but I'd have to charge you" SOMETHING. The artists here do very good work. My rating is for one artist in particular. So I apologize to the studio for the poor review. Sophollie Pak is the artist that has been working on my leg. He didn't put together a complete composite when we first consulted about my idea. I told him what I wanted and he worked on it one section at a time without keeping in mind the entire piece (even though I reminded him each time I went in) All in all he left an extremely awkward spot for the final part of my tattoo. He couldn't figure out how to fit it in, so now with my tattoo partially done, he refuses to respond to emails, he won't book me, he ignores instagram messages. And it is almost impossible to find a good artist to finish up another person's tattoo. Sophollie pak is a coward that refuses to finish a tattoo when he screws it up. DO NOT get at tattoo from SOPHOLLIE PAK!!! unless you prefer a tattoo that is partially done. If you need multiple sessions you will have a 50/50 chance that he will actually finish it, or get back to you. Sophillie Pak is the prince of Ghosts (to cowardly to contact you back and talk to you.) smh. read more

Ramon Barerra is a dirt bag. If you want to pay for a full days of work, even if you only get tatted for 2hrs or less. He's your guy. Charges by the day not the piece or hr but he will purposely book you a full day just to get paid either way. Horrible way to go about business. read more

This review is for Soph. I have in writing a price for a piece I was getting and how it would take one session. Great. Day of appointment, I guess the portrait was too big for him to do in one day after taking two hours to do the sketch. So he said we would have to finish in two sessions. No word about it costing more or I would have to pay his day rate in order to finish the piece. And now I paid for a portrait that's not even finished. So how did I end up paying for his portrait price and it's not even completed and he won't complete it. I wish I would've seen his reviews before booking. First of all, BEST PLACE IN TOWN for tattoos hands down! With that being said, Ramon and Tommy are both really great guys and artists. However, Ramon was the one My wife and I chose to get my wife's 2nd tattoo and my 1st EVER tattoo. Myself being someone who works in the Medical Field, I must say this shop is very clean and I would say I recommend them #1 especially for that. Also, Ramon in particular has a steady/light hand, lines straight, shading great, and scripting is amazing. The quality of service provided is phenomenal because they make it an overall enjoyable experience to be there while getting your tattoo piece done. The inks they use are great and I always get compliments on how dark my ink looks and how great the lining/shading are. The pricing is fair for how they determine how much to charge. I of course compared all the shops I've heard about but this one was that sold me as the Perfect choice for a 1st tattoo or really any tattoo. The pictures of work Living Water Studios has done speaks for itself more than anything I could write. They provided great tips as well for maintaining the Tattoo and made sure the piece I wanted matched the location I was wanting it to be placed. I scheduled a half sleeve appointment with Billy and everything was AMAZING! His prices are outstanding for the high quality of his work. He was very easy to schedule with as well. Heading into my appointment I was slightly nervous given as how I had never met him but was going to be spending anywhere from 6-8 hours with him. I was SOOOO happy with EVERYTHING!! He was amazingly easy to talk with and made me completely comfortable. You can tell right away that he takes pride in his work and cares about his people! The studio was clean, airy and the vibe was professional. I can not say enough good things about this business and the people involved. The first two pics are from the day of and the other two are the now healed tattoo two weeks out! No troubles at all with the healing process and very clear instruction given when leaving the studio.
