I bought my son a tattoo for Christmas. I have been in contact with the shop through yelp messenger. We decided to come in a day after Christmas and met Clay. He greeted us and was very friendly. My son told him what he wanted and it didn't take him more than 15 minutes to make a sketch of the tattoo (scorpion). My son was happy with it and 40 minutes later we were done. The tattoo looked amazing! I definitely would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Oh, and last but not least, their pricing was way better than most of the places I talked to in and out of the area. I'm going back to get mine done. Thank you Flying Crow tattoo! read more

This shop is great! My artist was Clay, he quoted me $150 for the tattoo I wanted but cut me a deal for $100 since it was pretty small. It turned out beautifully and I'm super happy with it. I got a PoohBear flying with a balloon and a little bee and it's just the most adorable tattoo ever. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop and I would definitely ask for Clay to do your tattoo. He's a super good artist and it's definitely worth the money. Only thing is that they don't take card and you have to get cash but overall amazing experience. Flying Crow Tattoo is definitely the shop you want to come to if you want good quality work for good prices, and everyone is super friendly and they make you feel very welcomed. read more

Shawn is the absolute man! My sister is in town visiting and we wanted to get matching tattoos in honor of our Dad who passed away in 2020. I gave a call to the shop and was able to get us an appointment with Shawn for today (Saturday). He was so chill and professional - we just had a simple lyrics tattoo, but he helped us pick the perfect font and spaced it out exactly how we had envisioned it. We went in the back of the shop to his chair which is so dope - the setup is really cool and we had so much fun looking at the decor. Shawn had us in and out with the perfect tattoos in an hour and it was so reasonably priced. It could not have been a better experience and we are so thankful to Shawn for being so awesome and helping us remember our Dad. 10/10 would recommend Shawn and his crew at Flying Crow! read more

Had Shawn and Casey do my tattoos and they are phenomenal. The whole staff is great!I will be back in September for more ink. Thanks, guys

The owner Shawn, contacted me directly. Apologized, and returned my deposit even though it was Casey's responsibility (who still has me on read). Shawn went above and beyond without question to make things right. I hope the artists that remain at this shop hold themselves to the same level of professionalism. My issue with this shop has been resolved. read more

Hands down the best place to get a tattoo. I gotten a couple of tattoos from clay that i liked a lot they were simple but he did a nice clean job and he was quick !! Then I told my son in law where I got it and he asked me to make him an appt. He got one with Shawn he was pretty impressed!! Definetly will be going back there now. The tattoos and the shop the customer service is A+... here in California is almost unheard of ( I'm from the mid west ) where every body is friendly lol. read more

I could not be happier with this shop. A friend recommended this shop so I reached out via Facebook messenger and got a response very quickly. The artist Shawn was able to get me a rough quote for price and set me up with an appointment day and time that worked great for me. The day of the appointment he took some time to verify that i was happy with the sketch and verified the size and location. After placing the stencil he had me check again that I was happy with the location before starting. I left in a reasonable amount of time and will be returning in the future for more work. read more

My daughter and I stumbled across this place while driving downtown and spontaneously decided to get matching mother/daughter tattoos...I know, I know...so cliche! ) The studio was very nice and clean. Clay, who did our tattoos, was very friendly and professional. He put my daughter to ease as she is quite squeamish of needles. We also met the owner, Shawn....very nice guy, too! Definitely a welcoming atmosphere. We had a great experience and definitely would recommend. read more

The Flying Crow Tattoo is incredible! It's everything you'd want it to be in a shop. Very clean and in a great location with good parking. The little design details throughout speak to the artist behind the chair. Owner Shawn is an experienced artist that takes his work seriously. I've been going to him for a few years now (at a different location) and his work is fantastic! I love trusting him with an idea and letting his artist's eye develop the design further than I ever could have imagined. The tattoo is done right the first time so little to NO touch ups are needed. All of that and he's a super cool guy to spend a couple hours with talking about anything and everything. He's easy to communicate with and is prepared for you when you walk through the door. I can't recommend The Flying Crow and Shawn enough. read more

I became a client with Shawn back when he was in Tracy. I moved out of state and when I wanted to get half sleeves on both arms in tribute to my grandparents I knew I was coming back to Shawn for work. I found Shawn opened his own shop in Manteca and set my appointment. Shawn is professional and made sure he gave me exactly what I wanted. The shop is clean and everyone there makes you feel welcome. I definitely recommend flying crow, in fact I did and now my family will be going there as clients. read more

Shawn Edwards has done all of my artwork. He is a talented artist and I would not trust anyone else to put permanent art on my body.

Flying Crow is the tits... best tattoo shop in the continental US of A. Shawn is a genius with a tattoo machine and he will turn your body into a work of art. His skill and great personality has kept me coming back to him regardless of where he goes. I currently came from out of state to get worked on by what can only be described as the tattoo Di Vinci of our day. Serious, getting work done anywhere else would make you a jabroni, you wanna be a jabroni? I didn't think so, go see Shawn at Flying Crow, you won't be disappointed. read more
