Quinn is a great instructor..........,but no air conditioning. This place should be called hot golf. I'm not over exaggerating. The humidity and heat was oppressive Sweat was dripping off my nose and elbows made it difficult to concentrate on the lesson. I literally sweated through my shirt and my shorts. For The price of these lessons I expect a comfortable environment. I hope the owner reads these. I'm fairly new to golf and have done a few clinics in the past, but I learned more with him in one hour than I have in my clinics combined. Pure Drive is an amazing facility, which I would say is state-of-art simulator experience and well run by a knowledge staff. If you need a lesson to tune up a certain aspect of your game or simply want to swing off some rust this is your destination. They also provide re-gripping service as well at a great cost. read more

Great that they use Trackman & you can keep all the data from your session on your phone. The one down side is that there isn't an automatic ball return. They give you a number of balls but after a while you need to collect all the balls and bring them back near the hitting area read more

For anyone who enjoys golf, from the casual golfer to the low handicapper, this is the best place to work on your game in the off season. I have checked out a bunch of the indoor facilities in the area, and this place is easily my favorite by far. Pat was very friendly when I arrived, and getting me setup on the simulator. They have a 4 large bays, each with a TrackMan and a video replay of your swing, as well as a 5th bay that is strictly used for instruction. The walls are also filled with the best current equipment from all the major manufacturers for you to demo. And more than anything else, I liked the ability to reserve a simulator bay online. Most places, you have to call in and see what is available and work your schedule around that. Pure Drive has an online booking system where you can book from a 30 minute session, up to two hours, and they show you which bay you will be reserving. So convenient. The staff is awesome (especially Ryan) and the facility is first rate state of the art. I can't stress enough how useful the numbers from Trackman in combination with video are helpful if you take the time understand what you are looking at. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of practice and useful feedback you get from the equipment. Love how they store video from previous sessions so you can review your progress. I never have trouble booking practice time during the week. The weekend is another story so book early. Have played a few rounds with friends and other than putting the simulator is awesome. I called ahead to make sure there was availability, and there was. One guy in a bay, and someone in a teaching lesson in another bay. They asked me if I'd ever done this before (I hadn't) and showed me the ropes of the computer and different options for games, courses, and statistics. They set me up on the range to start so I could get a feel for hitting a golf ball indoors. It is a weird feeling I wasn't able to get used to. I decided to play a course anyways, which ended up in double and triple bogeys. I just couldn't get used to it. I did find a 5 hole pitch and putt course that was a little easier, but I should have spent more time getting used to playing on a simulator in practice modes. You can get a report of your session sent to your email which will be interesting to go through. I ran out of time so I couldn't check out the putting area, but it looked pretty cool. I'll have to come back with a group. I wish there was some kind of bar, but I still had a good time. read more

This is, without a doubt, the best indoor practice facility in MA. Today was my first, but certainly not my last visit. From the moment I entered I was greeted by Pat who was very helpful in giving me the rundown of the facility. Once I was set up on the range (Trackman) and I was getting all my numbers. Adam stopped by to make sure I was doing OK and walked me through some additional cool additions of the iPad like device on the side that gives you all the aspects of your swing on the screen that one could want. It has a color code to show you if you're in the range (green - good, yellow - ok, red - needs work) The bays are the largest I've been in and I've been in many from city golf, golfx, golftec Bigsticks etc... After an hour range time I then played Copperhead on the sim. A+ I don't often give review unless I go somewhere truly outstanding and this place with Pat, and Adam is just that. Oh and did I mention the prices are incredible for range and much less then Bigsticks where I've been going the past few winters. I bought a 5 hour package for just over $150 which included a 10% discount. If your looking for a winter indoor golf practice facility look no further and head down here to one of the five (yes five) bays. I think I've found my new winter home. read more

Had an amazing session with Adam. He saw my swing flaw instantly and told me what I needed to do to fix it. He also gave me tips and drills to do to improve my swing flaw. Very easy to talk to and explains things very clearly. I love his approach and focusing on one or two issues, not all of them. Improving too many areas at once just gets confusing. Tremendous new addition to the Boston-area golf scene. Easily the best indoor teaching and practice facility in the area -- or maybe anywhere, really. Everything is beautifully laid out and highest quality. Adam is the real deal as an instructor, and having a Trackman available for self-guided practice is amazing. I see almost no reason to hit a bucket of balls at a driving range for $15 when I can get 30 minutes with a Trackman at Pure Drive for $20 and an hour for $35. And my guess is I am hitting this place up twice a week when the weather turns. read more
