The larger sizes (which pricey) are huge!! Each ice cream (ex. chocolate, vanilla) can be put in a cup, cone, or waffle cone. You can then choose the flavor it gets dipped into. Finally, you can choose if you want the extra toppings for a fee. I personally love the cookies and cream one with vanilla ice cream. Service is fast and everything is visible. It's so fun to see each ice cream get made! There are also other desserts available if you want something to go, or a souvenir. There is free water. Just grab a clean cup and pour it yourself.

Visited on a weekend night and ordered the small dipped cone with dark chocolate, raspberry sauce, and bits. I loved the contrast between the cool, creamy vanilla‑style soft serve coated in a glossy layer of intense dark chocolate that cracked with a satisfying snap. The raspberry sauce added a bright, tangy edge, cutting through sweetness rather than just echoing it. Texture‑wise, the firm shell and small toppings lent some welcome chew against the soft ice cream's smooth melt. The portion was modest (a true small), which made the roughly mid‑to‑high single‑digit price feel slightly steep but still justifiable for a treat. Service was friendly and quick at the counter. The shop's vibe leans casual and family‑friendly. Seating is limited, so this plays best as a grab‑and‑stroll dessert.

We got a regular milk chocolate bar and that sucker is rich and dense. One row of chocolate squares after a meal and I'm good. The chocolate bar definitely isn't American corporate chocolate and actually tastes like chocolate as opposed to anything else. If you're like Steve and me and just want a little bit of richness and a tad of sweet then this chocolate bar is right up your alley. If you have the stamina and metabolism to eat one of these in one sitting I'd love to record the experience (just kidding, I probably wouldn't actually). Roger's Chocolates also has truffles in which in this case I actually would like to try one or two.

The Heritage Store was closed when we arrived during our BC Bites & Sights tour. Fortunately, we were able to see some of it through the window. It's an architecturally historic building & shop. It was a treat just to see the old wooden built-in shelves, leaded glass decor, and stained glass half dome entryway that appears to be a Queen Anne Revival style of Victorian architecture. I don't know, it could be a mixture of different styles. All I know is that we saw a lot of this during our tour. They saved us a rather large, and individually wrapped, vanilla cream chocolate as part of the tour. I'm not usually a fan of flavored cream chocolates. I remember getting stuck with that one piece of Russel Stover chocolate that nobody wanted. Well, this vanilla cream one was nothing like that. It's on a totally different quality level. Let's just say that we loved it so much that we placed a mail order of various flavors. My BYO 5 pack included flavors such as maraschino cherry, rum, coffee, blueberry, and dark peanut butter. I also bought a cute tin full of various types of chocolates. This assortment had a few of their signature Empress Squares as well. Everything is (or was) delicious! We're still going through the box. So far, we love all of them. The "Whale Song" by Dana Statham is a great keepsake. We saw whales when our cruise ship was entering Victoria Harbour. It's what I would have bought if the store had been open on that very late Friday evening. Heck, I probably would have bought more had it been open after 10:30pm. Maybe it's a good thing that it was closed. I saved the best for last. The prices are actually pretty decent. Get them while you're there. I can't say the same about their shipping fees to Florida (hot climate). They did arrive in great condition via FedEx. I'd order again, but it would only be once a year due to shipping costs. It's worth a visit when in Victoria.

None of which I usually buy. But this summer at the Moss Street Market I bought their Primaverde sauce, and proceeded to use it on chicken, fish eggs and all sorts of other stuff. I don't know how to describe it, except that it's delicious. They say it's a classic chimichurri sauce with cilantro added. Yes, me too. I have no idea what that means. I've just come back from the market with a new bottle of that and a bottle of their Signal Rock Salsa, which is a smoked tomato based salsa. I don't really like tomatoes or tomato salsa...but I like this. So they have tasting at their stall, which is great. I consider they're fairly priced at $10 for a medium sized mason jar. The people at the stall know what's in everything and are very friendly. Apparently, I'm not going to become a home canner anytime soon so these guys keep me away from the nether regions of the chip aisle at the grocery store and enjoying new flavours.

My favorites were the dark choc sea salt caramels and the maple dark chocolates. Their soft serve is to die for. It is gluten-free and dairy free and I havent been able to have soft serve in about 20 years. They were able to put dark chocolate topping on it that hardened into a nice shell and it was served in a gluten-free waffle cone that was to die for. Georgina helped us and had incredible customer service. It could not have been better. She was happy to help, was super knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure I found something I loved without making me feel pressured at all. The store is kept really nice and it feels good to be in there since organized nicely, and not overcrowded Be sure to go here. You will love it and want to return!! I am excited for you

This chocolate shop has some tasty treats that any chocoholic will enjoy. Pure Lovin' Chocolate is a small chocolate shop, which sells chocolatey goods. From candy bars, chocolate-covered snacks, to truffles in the display case and even soft serve with a hot fudge topping, it was tempting to not get several different items when we visited. Somehow, I resisted the urge to get everything I eyed, but only tried two different truffles - the dark chocolate and earl grey. Both of the truffles were solid, with a soft chocolate filling and hard shell. I love earl grey anything, so was especially glad to find and try the earl grey truffle. I recommend anyone wanting to satisfy their chocolate fix in Victoria to check out Pure Lovin' Chocolate.
