They make it for all occasions, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day and (in my case) everyday! It is THE creamiest chocolate you will ever eat. They not only have milk, white AND dark chocolate, but they also make truffles (OMG), cherries in liquor, and a variety of chocolate covered options. Each box is beautiful and ready for giving. This chocolate factory is a true hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. To top in off, all of the chocolate is made in house. They also take orders for weddings and corporate functions. You can get personalized chocolate! As you can see, I just go for the staple, a big L. :D This is only for serious chocolate addicts. Eating chocolate from Williams will cause you to shun all convenience store chocolate FOREVER. This is where I get my fix....and presents. This family business is one of a kind. Do not do a chocolate party with her.

I've been here twice - once in the summer and once recently in November…read more I got two gelatos in the summer and I thought the price was reasonable (I think it was around $3 for one). It came in a container with a lid so you can easily take it to go and there was quite a lot of gelato too (I couldn't finish it). If I remember correctly, they make the gelato themselves. I have an addiction to pumpkin spice lattes so when I saw their sign outside saying that they sell it, I had to try it. I think I prefer Second Cup or Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte over Isabella's but it's not bad here. This is a cute little place to catch up with a friend or to relax with a cup of coffee. They sell a variety of snacks that I'll definitely be trying!

My dear friend and I were shopping at RioCan Durham Centre a couple of Mondays ago. We had come out…read moreof the GAP Factory Store and saw this Purdy Chocolatier store diagonally across from it. I have only seen Purdys at shopping malls. It was my first time seeing a store in a plaza. This Purdys is next to Burgers on Fleek. Does anyone say on fleek anymore?! I remember one of my interns using that phrase back in 2017 or 2018. I would never use slang as a part of a business name, as it becomes dated as time goes on. I frankly hadn't heard of that phrase for years until I saw this business. I digress. I was first introduced to Purdys by two former interns. On their last day of their internship, they both got me chocolates from Purdys. One box had assorted chocolates and the other one had all hedgehog chocolates. Without any hesitation, we headed over to this store after we dropped off our recent purchases at our respective cars. The shopping damage continued at Purdys for me. We walked in. It was a pleasant store. I saw a display for Lunar New Year chocolates. Cool! My friend recently got vegan chocolate from Purdys for Christmas and loved it. She's more of a milk chocolate person than dark. I'm the opposite. I decided to try the vegan dark trail mix bar. I found out that this store has a small section of no-sugar-added chocolates on the right, in the corner, when you first walk in. Yay! I found hedgehog chocolates that didn't have any sugar added and snatched a box. I spoke to the woman at the counter. She was great to point out that the no-sugar-added bars were BOGO. Sweet! Okay, not literally. I noticed a huge chocolate Santa that was 50% off. I asked the woman whether it was hollow. You'd think that I'd get a yes or no response. Nope, I got neither. She said that some parts were thicker than other. So, I'm guessing it's hollow for the most part. I'd die eating that chocolate Santa. Maybe if I paced myself, I could freeze most of it and indulge whenever I wanted to. The woman at the store was nice. She placed everything in a purple bag. I paid with a debit card. I tapped and all was great. This store also has ice cream. I've never had Purdys ice cream, so I'll need to return. I love the chocolate that I bought. The quality is great. Yummy. The no-added-sugar chocolates were perfect. I'm a fan. I still need to have the vegan one. I got sidetracked by all the hedgehogs... haha! This store is awesome. I'll definitely return for more chocolate goodies and more. (8)

Oprah approved Chocolatier in Whitby? Reading the local newspaper article, I was in disbelief but…read moredecided I have to check this place out! Now is the time to think about Valentines Day gift, right? It was a very small business in the uptown Whitby where new businesses are coming and gone for the recent years. The owner told me that they've been in business about 2 years. How did I not notice? Anyways, their product line-up was not as extensive as I wished (bonbons, chocolate bars and a few kinds of hot cocoa). But the bonbons are beautifully arranged in the glass display case. So, to start - I got 6 bonbons. - STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE - CREME BRÛLÉE - COOKIES & CREAM - SMORES - SALTED CARAMEL - 70% DARK I liked them they apparently use good quality of chocolate. I wished they had more dark chocolate items. Outside layer was thin yet had intense/nice chocolate aroma. Inside of Crème Brulee, Salted caramel, and 70% dark were a bit monotone with all oozy texture, no other sensations. Others had a bit of textures added, with a layer of cookie. Each has its unique flavor. Enjoyable. $2.50 each. Super affordable. Yes, they are certainly in my Valentines' day gifts. Online order/shipping available.

The selection at Sweetie Bear is amazing! They have the typical popular brands, like Calbee, but some other snacks that I can't find at my local grocery store. Most importantly, they have a decent selection of Boss drinks. I ended up ordering quite a big haul and was surprised it was delivered so soon! What impressed me the most was the good communication to ensure the package got delivered. Very much appreciated: One of my favourites so far are the Marukin Hokkiado Milky Cakes (the pastries in the blue bag at the bottom left corner). Perfectly buttery and sweet. They also stock some rarer Pocky flavours I've been looking for, like mint chocolate. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
