It's a small cozy restaurant, only a couple tables for dine in, but due to the limited parking spaces in the area, it seems more popular for takeout/uber/fantuan orders. We were greeted warmly, and informed that luckily there were a few flavours left, as it was already quite late in the day and most would have been sold out already. We got one of each flavour, as listed: Lemon Pikachu, Pineapple Bulbasaur, Sea Salt Caramel Squirtle. The Pikachu had a good balance of sweet and tart. The Squirtle didn't taste like salted caramel, it tasted like sweetened butter. I didn't get to try the Bulbasaur, so can't speak on the flavour of that. Based on the poster, Bulbasaur wasn't coloured correctly, but it was still cute. Priced higher than other places and reasonably so, as you can tell they really spend time to perfect the cute designs. I just wish they worked on the filling a little bit more to have a product that's not only cute but tastes awesome, too. They also offer Asian dishes like braised beef noodles and pork chop, the aroma smells wonderful and something we will definitely be back to try. Based on the two issues (Squirtle flavour and Bulbasaur colour), I would rate this 3*, but overall experience was pleasant, so increasing to 4*.

The staff helping me explained they recently opened (about a month ago if I remember correctly) and they're still working on printing out signs so I didn't know what flavors each macaron/cake was but he patiently walked me through every single one. What I got: - Kuromi Macaron (Salted Oreo) - Pikachu Macaron (Lemon) - Squirtle Macaron (Salted Caramel) - Bunny cake My Favs: - The bunny cake was super light and not too sweet. I don't remember exactly what flavor it was, perhaps apricot, but a great treat overall. - Lemon pikachu macaron was my favourite of the three as I love citrus flavors. This was super lemony but not too tart. Final thoughts: The macarons not only look amazing but tasted great too! I love a macaron that has a bit of chew to the shell which these do and each one was super flavorful. They are definitely on the pricer side, but the craftsmanship that goes into the designs and the strong flavors make this a 5 star for me. Smoothly melts in the mouth. The peak flavor (passion fruit) comes later and lingers to the finish. The runner up was Carame sea salt. The texture was elegant. The moment I felt the flakiness of sea salt crystal, then it melts into the sweet caramel, then it integrates with a bitterness of the dark chocolate. Multi-dimensional and well harmonized. They got pre-packaged gift boxes (mixed with milk, dark and white chocolate with more milk kinds), but I wanted to select on my own as my partner loves dark. I picked 12pcs. Here are the memorable ones. # Cupidon (dark chocolate ganache) : Simplest but best!!!! If you like dark, it is a must try. # Grand Marnier: Dark chocolate filled with super light Grand Marnier flavored whipped butter cream, with chunky nuts. Yummmmm!! # Truffle: Dark chocolate truffle filled in cocoa powder - loaded with cocoa flavor. So smooth. Loved it! # Scotch: Be prepared. It has real scotch inside. Don't bite. I found out they have a NO RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY. The clerk stated, "even if you just bought it and changed your mind, I can't even exchange it for you." For chocolates as expensive as these are I would expect better. That's the worst policies for a high end chocolatier I've heard of. I would expect you to stand by your products, not tell your customers to suck up your distasteful failed chocolate "creations". My last reason for shopping here was the sustainable cocoa farming they spout about on the website, fooling into believing they have some ethical framework they follow. This unfortunately doesn't go as far as putting any efforts into stopping child labour from their cocoa producers. Hopefully we can grow a conscience, because with the prices you charge, you can afford to act ethically.

I made it stove top with 1% milk, making sure to add the mix once the milk was hot, and then using a soft spatula to squish the chocolate lumps. The instructions said 4tbsp for mild and 6tbsp for intense. I went 5tbsp. The hot chocolate was very cocoa first, rich and delicious, not too sweet.
