There has been times where the shuttle can take up to about 20 minutes to arrive back to the lot. This all depends on how many people they have to drop off/pick up at ALL terminals. So, please give yourself enough time and arrive early to park your car and make it to your terminal in time. For pickup when you arrive, they tell you in the beginning to call them AFTER you have retrieved your bags. Again... due to traffic and how many people they have to pickup and/drop off before you can take time. I see a lot of people complaining, but ma'am/sir.. this is not a private car taking you to the airport. It's a shuttle bus lol My car has always been the same way I left it. I will continue to park at Safe Park. ty byeee!

There is a cheaper option at $25 per day but that lot if NOT connected to the AirTrain system but a shuttle bus is available. There are other third party options that may be cheaper...but they have their own shuttle buses and I was hesitant to book those based on our departing and arrival times. If you pre-book, your license plate will be scanned upon entry and departure giving you access. If you go over your allotted time, you will have the pay the difference before exiting. You also have the option to pay using your E-ZPass upon exiting. Safe area as we arrived at 3 a.m. and returned at 12:30 a.m. and there were others (including many employees) boarding the AirTrain which came surprisingly frequent at those times. (We only waited about 5 minutes each time) The AirTrain took about 10 minutes to get us to Terminal 5. Lot of parking spaces available but they may be a bit tighter for larger vehicles. I felt we had just enough room with our mid-sized SUV to park without much risk for (hopefully) consdierate owners on each side of our vehicle to be careful when opening their doors. Be sure to fold in your mirrors as a precaution. As expected, the spaces closer to the AirTrain are pretty filled up...but we were lucky to snag one only about 3 rows away. As an aside, in visiting other airports, I think the concept of having the AirTrain available to take travelers to the terminals, rental cars, hotels and parking lots (as JFK does) is a must. The hassle of using shuttle buses, especially with children and luggage, can be a headache. Overall a great experience, I would definitely use them again for future longer trips out of JFK.

The sign said $20 for 12 hours or part there of. Maximum of $35/day. And now that I am trying to speak to someone on the phone to get a refund, it has been difficult. We were traveling with young children, car seats, and lots of large luggage - I can't even express how happy I was to not have to worry about shuttle shenanigans. The guys were super timely and at the airport for us both at departure and arrival. Our car was in the exact condition we left it, the price was reasonable, and again, the airport drop-off/pick up service was an invaluable asset. I will happily use again and recommend. The communication issues: for the departure we were running really late and let them know and what our new eta was, to which he confirmed receipt. this was well over an hour before meeting time as we live 60 miles away. When we were initially supposed to be there but still a substantial distance away, the guy acted like he didn't know we were late, and complained how it was messing his schedule up. I get it that, but at that point we were en route and it was out of my control. He had asked for a 20 minute notice, which we also gave, but since he was already there maybe not so helpful to him? I felt really bad we were late, but maybe would have been a bit less stressed about the entire situation if he had acknowledged that I did inform him. My suggestion : If you ask for 20 minutes notice, let the customer give you 20 min notice, and use their scheduled arrival time as a more general planning guide. For return, they ask for your flight details which we provided. When we returned they called the moment we were exiting the plane asking where we were... again complaining how we were late. We still had to get through the airport with 2 young children and pick up our bags, it's not like I can make the plane land before it's schedule arrival or magically transport myself from the plane to the street in 1 minute... My suggestion for everyone's benefit is to work out the timing kinks and communications, because this is a really needed service and I am so grateful you offer it.
