Sometimes problems occur in all businesses. It is how the company resolves those problems that truly measures their quality and integrity. In 2022 we had a high quality artificial turf product installed in our backyard. After several years we noticed a cosmetic defect appear that we could not fix. I emailed Brett Jillson, the manager at the San Marcos store about what was happening and sent him some photos. He quickly came over to my house to assess the issue. He confirmed that there was a manufacturing defect in one section of the turf and told me the entire lawn would be replaced under warranty at no charge to me. We set up a date and his crew of 5 installers were at my house at 7AM. They tore up the old turf, reapplied all of the various underlayment products, and installed the new turf. The job was completed by 4:30PM that same day. Their workmanship was meticulous and they were all such nice hard working young men. The lawn looks FANTASTIC!! This is our second time using Purchase Green. They installed turf in our front yard two years ago. Dave Delany, their Estimator/Project Manager was extremely professional in all of his interactions with us. He helped us select a turf that was very close to the one we already had in our front yard. The original was no longer manufactured. He also let us know about a potential problem, sun glare from our west facing windows, that could potentially melt the turf. He suggested a vendor that could provide darked screens that would prevent the problem. We acted on his suggestion. On the day of installation, Dave was the first to arrive and walked the job with us, discussing last minute details. The crew arrived early and went right to work, covering our newly coated driveway and sidewalk with tarps to prevent damage from the sand and DG they needed to deliver. Vicente, the crew leader had led the team that installed our front yard, and we were glad to have him back. He kept us informed as the work progressed. The installation team was efficient and cleaned up at the end of each day. The work was completed in three days, as promised and the yard looks amazing! I initially posted a 1 star review, and I am upgrading it after having several conversations with the company. The 2nd purchase of grass did not match our previous purchase. We were initially told it's because it was a different batch & we could put a border between the 2 grasses. The color was so different my husband and I could not believe it was only a batch difference & that we weren't given the wrong grass. With further emails, they agreed that we could exchange the grass & they agreed to pick up and deliver new grass. When we went to the store, they were kind enough to get down the batch they cut from. We brought samples to compare. It's still not exact but we can now see the point. They offered to pull down more batches, let us take a sample of the grass. We were told we could even wait a couple more weeks to make up our minds. I really appreciate the flexibility. I just wish we were given a heads up of how different the batches could be in advance. I would have pre purchased since I new we would be completing our project in a year and needing more grass. read more

Purchase Green has an excellent selection of artificial turf at a range of price points. We chose the Eco-Olive 80 and absolutely love it. It was a little more expensive than most, but the color is so rich, and it looks so natural it was well worth the extra money. None of that shiny artificial look. Plus, their staff was very knowledgable and patient with answering all our questions as we were comparing all our options, and they have a large selection to choose from. Bottom line, they have a quality product at a good price with great service.
