I gave this place a chance after the third mishap.
Our group reserved for at least four people, and it was specifically noted that there could be more people as the celebration is a birthday and reunion in one. But when we arrived on the reservation night, the table service team wasn't aware or had not been notified of our reservation. We ended up waiting for half an hour for a table because most guests there apparently just hang out without buying anything. We walked out and transferred to a nearby pub with a chiller ambience, better music, and with items of more reasonable price.
Also, on our previous visits here, we noticed that the bar service team always take a long time giving changes to people, even though it was only for ₱100. Worse, they would forget giving you a change, and would just demand the small one to be just a tip if you reminded them of that change.
The worst unforgettable experience was when they added some items on our bill that we didn't order and even messed up billing my credit card--overbilling me for more than ₱2,000. I disputed it through my card-issuing bank when their team didn't want to own up, and that has already been taken care of, but still no apologies from them.
My previous review was deleted probably because of the sarcastic reply from the management, which everyone didn't expect. I wish they could be trained more for real customer service. I'm not sure what happened when they transitioned their management from the Costa Rican owner to the new one.
The place used to be the go-to choice when you want upbeat crowd, good music, and affordable drinks. Now, it is plagued by visitors who just sit there for hours without ordering anything.
Maybe we would not go back here until things have changed. Better check out other high-rated places in Poblacion. A little research wouldn't hurt. read more
