For starters we had jerk chicken wings. Which was delicious, I really enjoyed it and the jerk sauce was amazing as well. I had the curry goat, the meat was tender and just right, however it was lacking salt. Which is fine, that can happen at times. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. She found it to be a bit dry but that's because she didn't make use of the sauce that came with the meal because it was spicy. I love spicy food so i put the sauce on my food and it was very tasty. I enjoyed it a lot. Rita was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend reggae rita to others. It feels like an affordable trip to jamaica.

We got the roti rolls each time, chicken and lamb. Both were unimaginably delicious and super filling. . The menu was all in dutch but as soon as the guy working there realized we didn't speak Dutch, he went through the menu with us to help us decide. Super friendly and great food.

Jamaicanmecrazy, ja man!…read more Passing by this shop I was like WTF, a Jamaican takeaway. How come I don't know about this place?! Turns out, they only recently opened. Hell yes, A'dam was in desperate need of Jamaican takeaway!!! Sure, you've got Planet Rose. But sometimes you want to eat ya curry goat in tha privacy of ya own home, ya hear! Not sure if I'm such a big fan of the crowd hanging in front of the shop though. Reminded me of high school, but I'm a big girl now and nothing was gonna keep me from trying out Jamaica's national dish ackee & saltfish! They normally serve it with some rice (but I asked for the fried dumplings instead), fried plantains and a few slices of tomato and cucumber. Yeah, Jamaicans don't really seem te eat lot a veggs with their protein. So, if you want your veggs, you need to order a seperate portion of callaloo or okra. Hard food = Jamaican for yam. It's hard, it's food, of course.... hard food. Today for specials, they also had fish tea. For just €3,50, I got a big cup of Jamaica in a bowl!!! Oh my lordy lord, that was some seriously good fish soup! Try the sorrel ginger drink. Fiery and not too sweet! They saran wrap the shit out of your takeaway so none that goodness gets spilled. Rose move over, there're new boyz in town and I hope they're here to stay!!

What a find this place was-- thanks, Yelp! We started off with a Fernandes drink. The lady behind…read morethe counter hooked us up with the house brew, which tasted like bubble gum had a baby with ginger and coriander. It was unlike anything else I've ever tried. She was super nice and patient with our language barrier. The menu is almost entirely in Dutch, and so we had to google a lot of things. We ended up getting the Geit Kerrie and Thaise Kip. The goat curry came with curry potatoes and green beans, served with roti as you would expect in any West Indian place. It was phenomenally good and perfectly spicy. The Thaise Kip was a chicken, cashew, and veggie dish was served with rice and pickled onions. We were similarly wowed by this dish. Because of the wide variety of flavor profiles available in Surinamese cooking, from Curry with roti to stir fries, this is a restaurant where anyone will find something to their liking. If you do not speak Dutch, simply pull out your google translate and let this secret spot blow your mind.
