I want to make sure this gets posted so others don't have the unfortunate experience that I had with Concierge Aesthetics in Geneva, IL. I saw Lynn for "Coolsculpting" in my chin area. This was to be done throughout 2 treatments. Treatment 1 was relatively uneventful and performed by Lynn. The device fell off a few times most likely due to inadequate adhesion to the surface of my skin. There were also a few thermal events that can occur when the machine detects a temperature change on the skin. Lynn said to come back in a few days to retreat to this area. Little did I know that cool-sculpting should only be performed on the same area no more than once every 30 days, not 2 times in 5 days. Treatment 2 was the same except this time there was tremendous pain and pressure during the treatment and after. Lynn assured me as did the office manager that this pain was subside later on and go away. The pain did stop, but the damage was done. I was left with a permanent scar across the lower jawline that was in the shape of the device! When I showed the staff including the MD and the COO Laura they were dismissive, rude, and condescending. They tried to diminish the pain I was in and make me look foolish. I tried reaching out to management including the Chief Operating Officer, Laura but my emails and calls were ignored. I was refunded but want to warn everybody about my experience, It has been more than 6 months and the scar keeps getting darker with time. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I was severely injured and I want to prevent this from happening to someone else. Don't ever get cool-sculpting, and don't ever go to Concierge!

I went to Dr. Been first for a consultation after my friend had a positive experience with a…read morerhinoplasty. It's one of those things that I always wanted after discovering my side-profile in fifth grade, but not something I thought would ever be reality. Once I went into Dr. Been's office, from the consultation, explanation of technique, and financing options...it became more of a feasible option in my mind. I don't know how seriously I was taking myself initially, not sure I would actually follow-through with anything beyond a consultation. I was so excited, the next day I had put down my down-payment for my appointment in January. Dr. Been walked me through how his technique creates long-lasting, durable results, and showed me via simulation what might be the best options for me. I began getting so excited looking at my 3D simulation of before and after, I had Laurie put me on a wait-list in case anyone had cancelled earlier. (Side-note: Laurie is just an absolute PEACH, and makes the whole experience that much more comfortable. She was always so patient with me on the phone as I fumbled through all of the information I needed to provide). I got a call back 3 days later saying that an appointment had cancelled for a whole month earlier (December 9th) and did I want to take it. I booked it right away and got even more excited. The days leading up to my surgery, I got multiple calls from Laurie and the nurse Sherrie to ensure I was as prepared as possible for pre and post-op. It really felt as though they were holding my hand, guiding me into the unknown. I really have to say though, people kept asking me if I was nervous as I got closer to the day of surgery--I think Laurie and Sherrie had a lot to do with the fact that I just wasn't. I didn't have a single nerve, even as I sat down in that chair and began receiving the IV for the anesthetic. What I liked most about consulting with Dr. Been is that he listened to my wants, but didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. He was very careful in his technique to ensure the procedure would produce the right results for me--aesthetically as well as functionally. He was a true partner and expert consultant, giving thorough explanations in his reasoning behind the why or why not. Once I sat down in the chair, I was still as sure as ever I was making the right decision. The entire team was so supportive and comforting, there was really just no place to have nerves in this environment. I remember talking about what I do for a living, and then all of a sudden I was waking up. It was all so fast! And I couldn't believe it was done because I felt completely normal and no pain when I was fully awake. Dr. Been had sent me pictures of my new nose before they casted me up, and I was over the moon! It was the exact shape I had always dreamt of but never thought I would achieve. The first thing I did was destroy a McDouble from the drive-thru, and then I relaxed in bed watching movies. I didn't feel exhausted, or sick, or anything. I didn't even need to take any of the pain killers--which is strange, because any of my other friends who have undergone rhinoplasty through a different surgeon reported a lot of pain and exhaustion and discomfort. I wasn't even congested until the next day! I am not sure what it is, but I hardly have any bruising or swelling, and still no pain. My friends who were not fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Been are still all so perplexed as to HOW. I'm not sure what he is doing differently, but I highly recommend Been Plastics as these first couple days are supposed to be the worst of the process. I will post a before and after once I get my cast off!

Everything was confirmed. Two days ago I get a text (not a phone call, but a text message) telling me that the person I booked with had a scheduling conflict and asks me to come to the Naperville location on a different day. I explain that I already have other appointments scheduled those days (for a wedding that I'm in this weekend, the reason I scheduled the facial to begin with). I ask if there is anyone else available at the Oswego location on Monday (the day my appointment is scheduled). No response. On the day of my appointment, another text message shows up saying that no one else is available. Apparently they also only do facials in Naperville. I find all of this out on the DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT. How disappointing and unprofessional. A phone call when I booked the appointment a month ago would have the appropriate way to handle it, at the very least, a few days ago when I asked if someone else was available, but certainly not on the day of my appointment. That is unacceptable. There's no way I can get another appointment some place else today. Not to mention, I was the one who had to pick up the phone to call THEM to confirm that my appointment had, in fact, been cancelled. When I asked why I wasn't notified a month ago when I booked my appointment, all I got was a "yea, sorry". They said I could come to Naperville and made it seem like they were doing me some huge favor by allowing me to keep the same appointment time, as if I were inconveniencing them. I told the girl on the phone to just cancel the appointment, I didn't want to give them my business. No sincere apologies were made, almost as if they do this often. Do not book with this med spa. Very unprofessional.

I found the location through Groupon and my first appt with them was in Novemer 2025 (I booked the same service as today) and I was impressed with how nicely I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I had been to one other location (not affiliated with Secrets) and I received a very luke warm acknowledgement when I walked in, so being greeted so kindly by the staff at Secrets immediately put me at ease. Then I met with Dianne - she has been so awesome and knowledgeable. She really took her time to do a legit consultation and patiently answered my millions of questions. She really made the experience seem like I was just hanging out with my best friend, who just so happened to also be injecting my lip filler (lol). Anyway, Dianne is also great with advising her clients to schedule post-procedure follow up appts (about two wks out) to see how the filler has settled, answer any questions and do a final massage and assessment to make sure the filler is nicely balanced and settled into the proper places. The very first place I had gone to in May 2025 did not offer these visits (at least not in my experience) and so needless to say I was put further at ease in her care and expertise in this thoughtful approach of checking back with her clients to make sure they're happy with their result. I experienced zero bruising or pain the following day after my injections and pretty much all of the swelling resolved within 2-3 days afterwards (just in time for the work week). My lips were everything I wanted out of the visit! Her injection technique is quite unlike what I had experienced at the other med spa I had gone to previously in May 2025. I received so many compliments from my girlfriends at work at how natural and flattering to my face it turned out (including my COO there, who also dabbles in filler and botox, complimented highly!). So, I went for my 2nd visit today (6/20/26) for a little "top off" and was again so kindly greeted by her amazing Team as soon as I walked in the door. My visit with Dianne today exceeded my expectations just as it had the first time I was there! She actually remembered the little personal tid bits I told her about me in our first chat back in November and again I felt like I was just hanging with my bestie She took the time prior to my injections to discuss what I wanted to achieve and show her where I felt I needed a little extra enhancement. Again, her technique is amazing!! I dont know how she does it but I have zero pain or bruising, I do have minimal swelling, but that's just to be expected and it's actually pretty mild considering I just had it done. I even went out to a last minute lunch in Oak Brook with a cpl friends about an hour afterwards - I didn't even bat an eye, or feel self conscious, that I had just come from a procedure appt. I cant wait to see how it settles in and will try to remember to edit this post with before and after pics. I'm pretty damn picky and critical when it comes to who I go to for any services I'm willing to put some bucks down for, but I will hands down keep going back to Secrets for any aesthetics related service as long as Dianne and her Team are there! Cannot recommend enough! 5+++
