The pupusas here were sooooo good! Small but busy shop in the corner of a strip mall, all the tables were full and the guy at the register was very nice and friendly. Pupusas were huuuge and super filling, packed full of flavor! Will definitely come back! read more

I really love this place so much, I'm not sure why I haven't done a review a long time ago! I love the tacos and the pupusas and the aguas frescas!! You have to try the ensalada one they make only on the weekends. The fish is good as well. I'm actually about to go pick up some food now! read more

3/18/25- the food takes a while to get to you. At the same time it's good and decently priced for most items. It is a tight squeeze to get to the restrooms since the hall is also used for storage so I don't think that the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. read more

This is a great spot for el Salvadoran food! They have about 10 tables for dining in and mostly do takeout. They were pretty busy on a Saturday night so I recommend calling ahead for takeout. Reasonably priced and everything we tried was delicious. We got the combo plate for 28$ which easily feeds 2-3 people and let us try a bit of everything. Their pupusas were my favorite but I loved their sweet corn tamale as well. Would definitely go back! read more

Food is good , prices are great! Pupusas are delicious and they make a drink called ensalada (fruit salad drink) only on the weekends. (My opinion, a must try) Restaurant looks a little run down but it still hits. I do suggest ordering ahead of time cause the pupusas are made to order so they are hot and fresh ! read more

Went here for the first time today, my family and I have never tried El Salvadoran food before. It was incredible. The wait staff was very helpful in choosing the best selection for first time guests. We got the sampler (highly recommend for first time guests) from the papusas to the desserts, the 3 courses were refreshingly different and delicious. The restaurant was family friendly and sweet to my daughter. The staff at the front was even kind enough to answer any questions I had about the menu and items I wasn't familiar with. We will absolutely be returning. 5 stars read more

This place is SOOOOOO good! I had tried another Salvadoran restaurant in the area and although the food was good their the customer service wasn't the best. At Pupusas House you get both amazing food and service! They are very attentive and friendly. The food was so warm and 10/10, so so yummy! We brought some of the food to our friends as well, and they also loved it all. Literally "OMG THIS IS SO GOOD" we ordered pupusas, pastelitos, empanadas, atol, all delicious! We lucked out. We are in town visiting and needed some breakfast. The brunch places were overflowing and I desperately needed something to eat quickly. I didn't care if it was breakfast food. Pupusa house was open and I came. First off, this could definitely be a brunch spot. Get the banana pupusas. They are really nice with a thin crispy outer layer that has just a little bit of cinnamon sugar coating. Inside is bananas and some sweetened condensed milk. It's hot, it's crispy, it's earthy, it's sweet. It's one of the more unique things I've eaten lately. I also got the Loco Pupusa. Huge serving loaded with meat, cheese, and veggies. The salvadorian horchata was great too. They brought me a sample before I ordered. Great food. Great customer service. Great portions. Covid safe. Second time here. It's a small family owned little joint, a little hot in the summer when eating in, but the food is fantastic. Had a smothered burrito. Not sure this is traditional Salvadoran, but excellent. My wife has the Pupusas which are amazing! My son had Tacos. Can't go wrong!! Wow, what a find! This place came recommended by a co-worker, and I'm glad I took him up on it. I treated my office to a variety of Pupusas and everyone raved about every-single-one! I don't know why this place has 5 stars. They made me wait 40 minutes when I ordered at the restaurant with my 16 month old & everyone except for the youngster working there was rude & ignored me. Maybe the thought I was Mexican. The pupusas were not all that & my order of carnitas tacos was almost all chunks of fat!! Just one tiny sauce to go with everything I ordered for $45 I wish I didn't tip before hand! My wife was angry at me for buying this & couldn't eat it. We will never go back there again. read more

Delicious! I've tried a lot of different pupusas and this place has, by far, the BEST pupusas I've had yet! They have ample filling and are made to order, fresh and hot. I also loved the plantains with cream, beans, and cheese. The restaurant is a a bit hidden from the street but is easy to navigate to. It is clean and feels like an authentic restaurant similar to those I've visited in Mexico or Belize. It appears to be family owned and the cashier was very nice. The selection was good and the prices were reasonable and we will definitely go back to try some other dishes. read more

Easily our favorite food in NE Aurora. We like to get their large sampler option and love everything! The yuka, the plantain empanadas, the pupusas, the fried plantains. It's all so so good. The only thing to keep in mind is it is NOT quick service. But now that we know that we are willing to just plan accordingly and will enjoy Pupusa House a lot while we live here. read more

Great experience will be back. Bit of a shady location as others have said but isn't all amazing food in a bit of a not so great area? Was craving some good papusas and this place delivered. I was pleasantly surprised the jalapeno ones have fresh jalapenos. A lot of papusas I've had before used jarred ones and the taste is not the same. A+ read more

wow! Esta comida estaba deliciosa y barata!! Fueron las pupusas más ricas en la área. I had these last night with my family it was incredibly delicious, very filling and reasonably priced! Family of 3 were extremely full with only $25 including drinks! Many other pupusas places in the area were closed on Monday, but this was open so we decided to try this one. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff were very nice. For such a short wait period, I was impressed with the quality, texture and taste. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I tried this place for dinner last night and wow I was impressed! I have only had pupusas one other time but this is some of the best food I have tried! We especially liked the Loroco and the frijoles y queso...they give you salsa and a 'cabbage' like mixture of vegetables with a little kick as your sides which compliment the delicious meal they serve you. I will be back for sure! read more

Overall food is good (sometimes), they always forget something in my order and take more than 30 min to get the order ready even if you call in or place it online, you might as well be ready to wait for your order for an hour. Employees are really nice at the register I guess, it's just the ladies in the kitchen who take way too long with the orders lol.
