They were incredibly flexible when it came to scheduling a time for us to meet our future puppy which helped us feel confident in our decision to adopt. Their adoption fees are also very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional care, love, and dedication they put into every animal. I highly recommend New Beginnings to anyone looking to add a furry family member!

Sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision about Nature's Own Kennel (Nature's…read moreOwn LLC), operated by Jennifer J. Snook. I purchased a cream English Golden Retriever (Alfie), born October 23, 2024. He was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer on October 24, 2025 -- one day after his first birthday -- and was euthanized on January 5, 2026 at just one year and two months old. I informed the breeder and was told no other issues had been reported. I was also offered another puppy from a current litter, and there has been no follow-up since. To my knowledge, breeding has continued without pause. My veterinarian stated that cancer this severe at such a young age is extremely rare and medically abnormal. Please ask detailed questions about health history and genetic screening before purchasing, as information like this may not be disclosed upfront.

From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive, which, if you've been searching for a new pup, you know is important and rare. They answered all of our questions, sent updates and pictures as Cosmo was aging to perfection, and made the transaction so easy. On the day we came to pick up our new baby, we were provided with detailed directions to their home, and instructions on what we should do upon arrival, paying close attention to safety precautions due to COVID-19. Once we arrived and met our new guy, Debbie's years of experience with dog breeding was apparent. She had all of our paperwork, lists of medications, supplies for our trip home, and went over everything with us to be sure we had no questions. Two days after bringing Cosmo home, he went to the veterinarian and they gave him a great bill of health, and also commended Ford's lil Paws for their thoroughness. On their web page, you can read more about how much care they put into their breeding process. I honestly feel like they go above and beyond to ensure the safety and cleanliness of their kennels, even giving newborns and their mothers a special place to bond. Amazing job, Ford's lil Paws! We are so thankful to welcome our healthy and happy pug baby, Cosmo!

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY BASED ON THE STORE FRONT AND NOT THE PUPPY SIDE!!!!…read moreI'll address the downfall first, which can be seen in the reviews below. I do not like that they have puppies in tiny cages in the back. Yes I agree you should adopt and not shop, but that doesn't change the front of the store, at least for me. As someone that likes the "finer" things in life for their fur babies, I appreciate this store. They have cute toys that are different than the ones you can find at a chain pet store. The food they sell is in line with the brands I like to feed my dogs and cats. It's not necessarily mainstream, and I am grateful that all the brands I trust are here, in one place. The staff came up to us several times checking on us and offering suggestions based on what we were looking at. I'm not insanity well educated in the world of dog food and treat, so it's nice to get someone opinion that knows! The layout is nice! At the front of the store, is a massive case of boutique dog cookies, my girls aren't fans, so I only looked and admired their cuteness. The center is the seasonal things, which are super cute and unique. The toys are off to the right, and then food right behind that. The puppies that are for sale are all the way in the back, so if you'd like to avoid and ignore you can, which I appreciate beyond words! Then on the left side of the store are all the home needs, kennels, beds, bowls, leashes, etc. Bottom line, if you're looking for something different in the way of your furry friend's needs, this should be your one stop shop! They have everything you could ever imagine!
