Maybe this is just common vet practice I didn't know, but I didn't appreciate being kept in the dark.

We took our sweet kitty there and for about $80 we were able to have her spayed. The people were friendly and helpful. This is a great place for low-cost spay and neuter and we will absolutely make a donation to them in the future.

His ability to calm and gain trust with animals before and while "doing his work" sets him apart from other vets, and is his absolute priority. Witnessing his approach upon our first visit with him, made me regret not finding him sooner. He cares deeply about the health and comfort of his patients and their humans. After a short battle with bone cancer, we recently realized it was time to let our dog go. I had been staying in touch with Dr Kovac since her initial diagnosis for guidance and reassurance, and made the call for the final appointment. He gave me the information I needed to be certain that I was making the right decision and graciously took the time to make a plan to help my daughter (who has some disabilities, and was best friends with our pup) understand, accept, and actively participate in the decision with the family. Our dog passed peacefully and with dignity in her favorite spot, in the sunshine, with her people close. It is difficult to articulate our gratitude for Dr. Kovac after this experience. But I can say that that I have never met a more gracious, kind, skilled, experienced, and compassionate vet. When we're ready to bring a new dog into our family, we know who our vet will be. The trailer was spacious & clean with all necessary equipment. My dog has had surgery 3 times and this was the easiest. The incision is small and looks fine. My dogs are so loved at Wag A Lotz!! Joyce goes above and beyond every time! Making sure my girls are well taken care of. She communicates clearly and responds to all messages promptly. The woman replies in a snarky manner "well, that's not really young. We start puppies at 8 weeks". Everywhere I've read, my dog trainer, and vet said not to go prior to 16 weeks/end of vaccinations. I tell this woman that, she replies "but a trainer and a vet aren't groomers". At that point, I hang up. I check the website, she says that no vaccinations are required to get groomed. That tells me she has zero regard for the dogs. Please please do not take your puppy to this groomer where he/she will be exposed to unvaccinated dogs at 8 weeks. You're asking for a lot of heartbreak.
