Each location is an individual franchise and the terms as well as prices per location is at the discretion of each franchisee. Furthermore, I had brought my dog here before and he did fine. It's a new location and the facility is clean. That said, I would recommend finding boarding at another location if possible. I had previously made a boarding reservation here for the holiday weekend for my dog. However, with inclement weather approaching, we changed our travel plans due to potential road conditions. I had to pay a deposit equal to half of the cost for stay. When I called, they said due to their policy of it being a holiday weekend, I would have to cancel 1 week in advance. Otherwise, they would keep my deposit. No exceptions. I had planned to drop my dog off Friday night with Tuesday pick up. I had called other franchises and each have their own policy. The other location required only a 50 dollar deposit refundable if cancelled 72 hours in advance. If cancelled within that 72 hour period, the 50 dollars is kept but credited to the owner's account. Compared to other franchises, this makes the cancellation policy at this location much worse. I will not be bringing my dog to this location again in the future.

I have a pretty "fearful" cat, but she's managed to win him over and goes out of her way to find him and spend some time with him. She also used to take care of my parents' elderly cat from time to time, and would get down on the floor to play with this tiny little old cat. He slapped her bottom several times to get her to sit. I thought maybe I'm too soft and this is the way of things in the real world. I agreed to leave them. Thanksgiving week we dropped them off with all their stuff with instructions that the boxer will get diarrhea if given a different food. Mind you I took enough for 4 days, knowing they won't eat it all because they just don't eat much when not at home. He said he throws out all leftovers and gives fresh everyday. BS! I put the food in sealed cereal box containers, 2 of them. When I picked them up Friday after thanksgiving I was later by 1 1/2 hours, 4;30 in the afternoon. My cocker spaniels bed was soaked through with pee! It was so wet it literally dripped! I had to throw it away. The boxers bed had poop all over. Threw that one away. Their food containers, 1 full the other half full. I didn't say anything because I was totally intimidated by Lyle. His wife was nice I thought! As soon as my dogs came out of kennel they peed. A lot. So they had not been let out for a long while. They hopped in car right away and the ride home was almost unbearable! My dogs stank so bad! As soon as we got them home they got baths, crates sanitized and beds went in the trash. The beds were not cheap either. Yep i saved money on the kennel. But i had to buy medication for my boxer because she had diarrhea. Had to buy 2 beds. My dogs were not the same dogs i dropped off. They were beat down. I don't know if the people there actually hit either one of my dogs but you can tell they were neglected and not treated well. I thought maybe I was over reacting so I mentioned this to friends and they said no way I was not. I wouldn't take my dogs back there if they paid me to leave them. No I didn't say anything to these people. I was so po'd that I was afraid I'd cry I was so mad. Found out that my granddaughter's friends left their dogs there for a few days. She said her husband never told her all the details but he was very unhappy with this kennel, po'd. Next time I leave my dogs in a kennel it will be a well known establishment that has been reviewed. Yes I will pay more but well worth it. I wouldn't take my dog back to be trained either, as I was planning on. I'm sure he would break her spirit and that is what I love sbout her.
