Precious Pet Care checks all the marks for us: they're kind, attentive, close by (bonus points!), and they offer an extensive amount of services that are far beyond my imagination. Who knew my dog could get supervised socialization in an intimate setting, get groomed when needed, and get dropped off by their Magic Pink bus? I mean, I can't with all of this cuteness! I also appreciate that they're flexible with accommodating Yoshi, especially since our work schedules are a little crazy sometimes. Their end of day report cards are also so thoughtful and I look forward to reading them every time. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

This always makes me nervous when choosing anyone to work with them. Jeremy is actually the only person I am comfortable choosing when it comes to caring for my dogs. Especially my older dog who displays reactive behavior while on leash. Jeremy knows exactly how to handle my dogs, and keeps them calm and happy! This is why it was an easy choice to ask him to act as our Wedding Chaperone for the dogs on our wedding day! The dogs had a big job of walking down the aisle and I was so nervous how they would react before and after the ceremony. Because of his help they did AMAZING! What made this service so special is that 1) Jeremy is very professional and thoughtful and came dressed ceremony ready. 2) He took a lot of time and was very intentional about making sure the dogs were comfortable. 3) He made sure the dogs had everything they needed at all times! He even called ahead of time asking if he should print a pop up tent to shield them from the sun! So so thoughtful! 4) He was a lifesaver during family photos and helped get the dogs posed!! An IMPOSSIBLE task! But he made it happen! 5) When it was time to say goodbye he reviewed the dog's nighttime routine with us and I knew they were in great hands! So I could relax for the rest of my wedding! He brought them home, walked them, fed them and kept us up to date on everything we needed to know! In summary, Jeremy really helped make this day special for us. We couldn't have picked a better person to care for our dogs and make the dream of the dogs being present a reality!! For anyone who wants to involve their dogs in their special day or any other special events, I highly recommend using him for your event! They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. On the second day, we received a call saying there had been a dog attack involving Molly; that one of the other dogs that was also being boarded, had attaked her. Though Molly was taken to ER for her injuries, she did not survive the attack. We lost our angel in Doug's care. We discovered that it was one of Doug's own pets that had attacked Molly. Though we reported the attack to the police and the Humane Society. Doug had argued that his dog was fighting in self deffence. Our Molly was a 6 lb. Yorkie that was a service pet for senior care facilities. Doug's dog is a 78 lb. Lab. Really !?!? One of his assistants felt horrible about what happened and mentioned similar events as happening in the past. The staff member had also said most of the possitive reviews on Yelp are from mock accounts that Doug and his staff posted. Please do your own research before trusting you pet with him.
